Allow Him to interrupt and change your plans as He desires. There is nothing too big for our God and if you can dream it He can lead you to it and far greater than what you can dream (Ephesians 3:20). So when we acknowledge him in all our ways and allow Him to direct our paths – He will lead us into the God given desires of our lives! So what is your desire? To begin a ministry? DREAM BIG and do it! To purchase land for a women’s shelter? DREAM BIG and do it! To buy a new home? DREAM BIG and do it! Don’t look at what you don’t have, look at your God and know that with him all things are possible…DREAM BIG!

The Top 5 Ways to Attract and Keep Customers in Any EconomyBy Barry A. Densa, freelance marketing & sales copywriterI have a friend in Florida who owns six Subway franchises. He's rolling in dough, whole wheat and greenbacks. He loves the recession. He's remodeling his house (stimulating one South Florida contractor to keep swinging a hammer).Dollar stores are also doing a gang-buster business. The healthcare industry is thriving, too, but they're in a world of their own (as long as there's no cure for sickness and aging.)Supermarkets are packed. People are cooking, not dining out in restaurants. In fact, anyone selling a staple of life, or offering a low-ticket product or service, they're just happier than a pig in... you know what. For the rest of us...This economy sucks. But only if, during the long-gone good-times, your business had been on cruise control and you got complacent, fat and lazy, and saw your customers as dollar signs and not people.Without naming names, some marketers are clearly suffering far less than others, because they cared to look deep into their customer's eyes and not just plumb the depths of their wallets.Call it relationship building, call it caring about your customers, or just call it staying in business, making a great income, taking vacations, and buying new cars (Japanese or German) even in a recession. While I can't offer you, for obvious reasons, a precise 5-point strategy to achieve this type of recession insurance for your particular business...I can give you the general blueprint. The top 5 ways to keep your prospects loyal and their wallets openFirst, a note of caution: Reducing your prices may help, of course, and may even be prudent. But that's a short-term fix, which commoditizes your service. In fact, by reducing your prices, what you're doing is training, even forcing, your customers to price shop.Remember, price is what your customer pays, value is what your customer receives.Accent the value, and the customer will pay your price. And you do it this way...1. Allay your customer fears:Right now your customers are looking more and more like deer in the headlights. They're watching way too many doom and gloom news shows. They're hearing about once-upon-a-time giants of industry filing for bankruptcy, shutting doors and putting thousands of people out of work. They may even know a few. And, quite frankly, they're afraid they may be next.So they're holding on to their money; worried the good times will never return. Frugal and conservative defines them. Food and shelter are their biggest concern to the near exclusion of everything else.Your job then is to lift their heads, open their eyes and sing, "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow."Help them understand that change is the only constant in life—and this economic melt-down, this too shall pass.Show them that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer—give them hope, and put your arm around their shoulders. Then infuse them with some good ol' time religion, lift their spirits and get them dancing in the aisles—put excitement and happiness back in their lives.2. Confirm their suspicions:Conspiracies, real and imagined, abound in times of economic stress.Your customers see danger everywhere they look, and they wonder who is really there to watch over and protect their best interests, and who is there to fleece them of their shrinking income.Don’t deny the reality your customers perceive. Don't argue with or ignore their fears. Place yourself on their side. Put yourself in their shoes.Recognize that the quickest way to bond and, most importantly, become an advocate on behalf of your customers is to first accept and validate (within reasonable limits) their viewpoint. Then, once you've shown them you understand and agree with them, you'll find it so much easier to persuade them of your viewpoint.Switch their allegiance from fear and suspicion to that of fearlessness and confidence and you'll immediately become their champion and protector. After all, it's so much easier to close a deal, make a sale, even to a skittish and suspicious customer, when they trust you—and see in you a like-minded and kindred spirit.3. Justify their failures:Don't make your customers feel like losers. If they've yet to reach their goals, pat them on the back and then show them why. There's a big difference between criticizing and critiquing. Be a coach, a mentor, help them to see why they stumbled and fell, and how they can pick themselves up and still reach the finish line.Never put the blame solely on their shoulders.Show them that many factors, often beyond their control, contributed to their failure, just as other factors, equally beyond their control will determine the shape of their eventual success. And yet with your expert help, show them how you can decrease the number of failures they will face, and how you will increase their odds of success, however defined.4. Throw rocks at their enemies:This is too easy, and a cousin of number 3, above.Indentify the immediate threat or obstacle confronting your customer's well-being, happiness and success. Join them in a justifiable hate fest. Heap scorn, ridicule and bad intentions on the perceived roadblock. And then quickly move on. Don't wallow in that shallow pool, but splash there just long enough to gain your customer's attention and confidence. Then, once you have made common cause with your customer—sharing the same enemy and holding to shared goals—and working together to achieve them—you'll be accepted on their team, and into their inner sanctum—a trusted confidant.5. Encourage their dreams:Isn't that what it's all about? Dreams and their fulfillment.Without dreams what are we? Our dreams define us. Our dreams are our life's work. Some dreams are large, some are small, but all need more than just wishful thinking. They need the mechanism to make them come true. What you market and sell are not made of metal, wood, plastic, gigabytes or an intangible service—they are dream-makers. They are magic and they are real. And for your customers, your products or services are their best chance of reaching for the stars.Do not deceive your customer into believing they can accomplish the impossible, or that the impossible is achievable. But if your product or service can indeed make your customer's dreams come true, do not hide the truth—but rather proclaim it, prove it and deliver it.And when you do all of the above, with style and grace, truth and honesty...Your business will thrive in any economy.---Source: Barry A. It Is, What It Is

One important thing that women should come to terms with is that there are some things we just can't control. Being able to distinguish between what we can and can't control is important when striving for a life of balance. When you understand this distinction and accept it then it keeps you from wasting time and energy.Life brings each of us a bunch of "stuff" to deal with. This is not to say that this "stuff" isn't upsetting or there isn't any need for concern. However, fretting over things that are out of our control is not productive. There have been many instances in my life that I would worry myself senseless over situations and people that I couldn't control. This was physically and mentally exhausting. My new strategy is to determine if I have ownership of the problem. If I don't, then I no longer focus my attention on it. In reality all I can control is my reaction and my attitude about the situation. That's it. Truthfully, that's enough. I can't surrender my power to something that doesn't belong to me. No longer do I get all bent out of shape. No longer to yell and scream. No longer do I let it ruin my day. I have learned to accept that "It Is What It Is!!"

The Hand You're Dealt

When I was growing up, I hated my name. It was different from everyone else’s and I used to get teased incessantly. I was called “Tangerine”, “Tangy” and my all time favorite, “Tangerinee-Weeney”! I wanted a more common name like “Jacqueline” or “Demetria” so that I could fit in and not stand out. Then I struggled with insecurities about having to wear glasses. I was kind of homely and my hair was nappy. As I became a teenager, I struggled with not having “good” hair, light skin or light brown eyes. I was skinny and my feet were big, and I began to seek approval in all the wrong ways. As an adult, I’ve questioned why I started losing my hair in my late twenties, why I struggled with infertility and most recently, why do I potentially have an eye disease that could threaten my vision in the future. The list of ‘why’s’ can be endless. It’s in times when I’m feeling the most vulnerable that I have to rest on what I know verses what I feel. What I know is that God knew me before I was formed in my mother’s womb and that He has a definite and specific plan for my life. That plan can only be fulfilled by me in my unique, pre-designed way. I know that nothing that occurs in my life is a surprise to God. He has already pre-destined my path and I just need to walk in it with confidence and ease.If I would have designed my life, it would have been a whole lot different, but not necessarily to my good. I think in life we can take a lesson from one of my favorite card games, spades. When the cards come around, you don’t know what you’re going to get, but a good player always knows how to make the most of the hand they’re dealt.

Divas,Today I celebrate my 50th Birthday. I am truly grateful that God has brought me through another year, safe and sound. There have been bumps and bruises along the way, as I am sure there will be many more to come. I have learned that amidst all of the cards, flowers, balloons and gifts, the lasting memories of this birthday come from the time I spent with my friends, family and one very special man.I continue to learn many things about myself, among them the joy of living my life according to my values and priorities. My girlfriend asked me today, when I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, did I have any regrets of the things I had done within the last 72 hours (I am sure that she was referring to my belly piercing). I did not hesitate for a moment on the answer, It was a resounding "NO". A Tru Diva tries to live her life without regret. So publicly, I wanted to thank all of those people who made this Diva's 50th Birthday the best that I have ever, ever had.A Tru Diva knows how to celebrate each day and especially the day that her "Light" was born into the world.

~*The Steps of a GOOD MAN!!*~

The STEPS of a GOOD Man!Written by Dyanner BrownJune 2009

Anyone, who is anyone and of course who has the ability to operate and use their legs can walk. Walking is suppose to be very beneficial for one's well being physically and emotionally. However, its not always where you walk but how you walk that gets the benefit. This is the case of the footsteps of the good man. Anyone can all themselves a man. However we all know that there is a big difference between a man, a boy and a good man. A man can be a man based on his physicality, however mentally, spiritually and intellectually he may still be a boy, by way of immaturity.

But a good man, is a righteous man and a righteous man is one that is high on God's list of commodities.

A good and righteous has been made in the image of an Almighty God. He is honorable, kind, trustworthy and he takes care of business. When he is strong, he knows that it comes from God. He is God's silent warrior. He does not have do a lot of talking. Silence is his strength. He wears it well. He allows his walk to do all the talking for him. His walk with God that is. A righteous man is one to be honored and praised.

A good and righteous man, stands tall and courageous, with the full knowledge that he has been empowered by the one who has all power and all might. EVen in the face of danger, a good man, still stands strong.

El Elyon, the most High God. This man, bows to nothing, except when it is to His great and awesome God. On his knees praying and praising God is where he is going to be. He is hooked in to the right source of power, energized by the most High, the light of the world. He shines with God's annointing covering him and surrounded by the favor and love of God. God's mercy always carries him. God's omniscence is his true guide.

God carries the good man where he needs him to go. This man, is never ever left alone. God is with him; supports him, and keeps him. Yes, a righteous man is one that causes God to be delighted in all that he does, all that he says and all the plans that he makes, for he is always led by God, thus, he is always led to do the right things, be a part of the best things and live a life that is always a God thing! That's God's good and righteous man, created in the image of an Almighty God.

This man walks in authority and walks in the dominion in which God has given to him. He knows who he is in Christ. There is no insecurity in this man. This man is led by God, for he always is holding on daily, to God's unchanging hand. That's a good man. Brave he may be, yet he knows that it is not due to his own strengths talents, or abilities. It is all done through God, for he speaks his mantra throughout his day to remind him of all his God given ability, "I can do all things through Christ, that strengthens me."

This note is dedicated to every good and righteous man that we all have come in contact with or come to know and love. If you are a good and righteous man respond to this note and give God some praise, or if you know a good and righteous man, please tell the Lord, "Thank you!!" and then give a shout out to that brother, friend, husband, pastor or leader!!

A good man, finds favor with the Lord and he is worthy to be honored. God bless all the good men in our lives!! When they win, we win. When they shine, we shine with them and when they triumph, so do we. Always thank God for the good men that we know, we love and all those that we come in contact with and/or see. God's good man, lives a life that honors God, honors his family and always gives God all of the glory!

This is what the Lord has to say about His good men!!"The steps (footsteps, walk, paths, plans, works, talents, projects, purpose, deeds, thoughts, mindset, attitudes, ways, emotions, desires, hopes, faith) of a good (righteous, honorable, obedient, disciplined, courageous, decent, trustworthy, kind, holy) man (man that is matured in spirit, body and soul:mind, emotions, intellect) are ordered (established, set apart, set in motion, directed, requested, commanded, willed, spoken, cast, fastened, manifested) by (through, in association with, in connection with, in the possession and ownership of) the Lord (Adonai, El Elyon, ElShadai: The Lord our God, The Most High God, The Most Sufficient ONE), and HE (The Lord God) delights (takes great pleasure, is honored, is glorified, is magnified, is made happy) in all his (this man's, the good man's) ways (walk, paths, plans, works, talents, projects, purpose, deeds, thoughts, mindset, attitudes, emotions, desires, hopes, faith, footsteps, steps).."So to every good man, I say, keep on walking and placing your feet in the place where God places your feet, in the footsteps of Jesus. Though it is not easy and often feels less rewarded, your reward and crown is great. You my brother, friend, pastor, elder, leader are chosen by God to walk in divine favor, honor and praise, as a king, as an heir of God and as an Abassador of Christ. Today, walk in your divine dominion and honor. Walk in your savy. Walk in your royal status and be the kings that God Called you to be today and always. Amen. Agape Always and a Day!

PS: To all Dad's:Happy Father's Day! to all the Good and Righteous men that continue to follow after and walk in the steps of an Almighty God I hope your Father's Day was filled with blessings from the most High God! IF you are not a dad.. I hope your day and/or your dad's day was a memorable one. To everyone else.. Be blessed and don't forget to honor God in all that you do.. and God will always delight in all that you do and He will most certainly honor and bless you!! !To all my sisters: speak the word of God over the men in your life, as if it already were and watch God's word manifest His promises! Speak life into the lives of the men in your life! Be a woman for life.. A worshiper for life.. a sister for life..

"Choose life that you and your seed [your offspring, children, productivity, fruit, fruitfulness, works, deeds, projects, accomplishments, blessings, successes, prosperity] may live [grow, mature, develop, expand, increase, progress and succeed."..."Speak those things that be not, as though they already were.""Decree a thing, and it shall be established."And then beloved, just rejoice, for God carefully watches over His word, to always perform, do, and complete what his word has been sent out to do and accomplish. God's word never ever will return to Him void, unaccomplished, incomplete or undone.

Aspire to Arise to be more than you ever imagined & thought that you could ever be!Dyanner Brown~ Talitha Cumi Inspires~ www.talithacumiinspirestheworld.ning.comDaughter of God, Risen to Inspire the lives of others ..One inspired word at a time!
