What happens if you claim to be so excellent, but then you have your fingers crossed behind your back? What if in YOUR head you want to do what YOU want and your character/integrity wavers just a little...bit?Will you even care what that makes you look like? Or do you suffer from Narcissism:? 1.Excessive love or admiration of oneself.If the point of life is someone else's growth then you can't lose YOUR integrity and start acting like a narcissist. I mean REALLY! Pull yourself together first, then move forward in and with someone else's life.Now back on to your integrity. Are you caring about how this looks? If you ask someone for help, use them, and then praise someone else, how does that make you look? HMMM, here's another scenario. If you ask someone for their advice or assistance, tell them they did a great job, yet you take the credit for it...hmmm...okayAs a life coach, and CEO how I look is important to me. It's important that I run, sweat, and pass out while I push you forward, but its important for you to reciprocate.So, consider what you look like right now to everyone in your social and professional circles. Hello Community,Great day to ya. I was listening to Lee Green, CEO, Black Business Builders Club, and he pointed out an obvious yet overlooked fact.A lot of people do not know!!!They do not know some of the basic business building fundamentals.We take it for granted that since something is available people will use it. The internet is a great tool. It offers access to a lot of other business building tools. What it does not do is verify that you know how to use these tools.That is right, the “food” is there and it is assumed you know how to “eat”. No one checks for indigestion. You may be trying to consume this “food” and even when successful, your system cannot process it, therefore, mental “indigestion” happen.So lesson learned.I want to ensure that all my readers understand and use some basic business building tools.First, I will discuss an extremely important business building (and relationship sustaining) fact.You must do, what you say, you will do. Read this line a several times.Integrity is built on this.To help you do,what you say you will do, you must employ these actions. Follow up on anything you say you will do and Follow through on what you say you will do.Most people start off great. High energy, Wonderful promises, Honest intentions.Yet, because they do not follow up nor follow through, their results are dismal.I will not explore the many disadvantages that are created by this lack to follow up and follow through, at least, at this time.However, I can must assuredly inform you, people who do not follow up and follow through, will not be around for long. Why?Because the people who do, what they say, they are going to do and employ the follow up and follow through principles, replace them.Replace them!!!! Good morning!As I write this post, it is about 80 degrees here in NJ and it's only 10:30 am. Now I do love the Garden State, but when it decides to get hot here, it's not kidding!I like to take a look around the Internet and use information from different sources. As such, I've had quite a bit of exposure to business folks who are off the beaten path. One of my favorites of this bunch is Larry Winget. First of all, he's....let's say, interesting. He's bald, wears .....flamboyant shirts and interesting cowboy boots. Not exactly my style of dress for me, but hey, it works for him - makes him distinctive to say the least.I like what he has to say. He's to the point, simple, no-holds barred type of person who simply tells it like it is. What I want to share with you today is some of his rules of business. Here are a few of them for you to ponder on:1. Do the right thing every time. Not the cheap thing or the easy thing, but the right thing.2. Work hard on your job and harder on yourself.3. Be the person others can count on to get things done.4. A deal is a deal.And my personal favorite:Do what you say you would do, when you said you would do it, the way you said you would do it.Believe me, although these words are simple and straightforward, with so much going on in our lives, it is easy (yes it is) easy to let things slide.
