I have played percussion in a military band, wrote articles for several military publications, tried my hand at business analysis/technical writing but finally, went back to school to become a nurse and entrepreneur. Through all my work experiences in life, there is one quality in every person that seems to stand out as THE most powerful characteristic for every successful person I have ever met – a positive attitude. When I started my entrepreneur adventures a little over a year and a half ago, I studied and read the biographies of several “business big dogs” in the United States like Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Donald Trump and Andrew Carnegie. In these readings, each man had a mindset that said anything was possible and that what ever came their way, they would approach the issue with a positive mental attitude and expectation. Each of us carries certain amounts of genetic material that are the overriding essence of our character. Have a close look at your mother and father. You have some blend of the two of them with a couple of ancestral traits thrown in. With our characteristics and childhood, we develop traits and habits that are molded by our experience and training. So, if you take a good look at the men I just mentioned and read their stories, you will find out what elements made them the persons they are and were during their time….and ultimately, it was their attitude that got them through the dark periods during their ascent to business success. How does all of the “attitude” talk relate to you?Attitude affects every part of our life and those who understand its power will do everything they can to nurture and protect this valuable quality. Attitude is what makes the difference between an average performer and a peak performer in life. No amount of money can replace what a person like this can do for your organization and yourself. But what is a great attitude as it applies to business? In my experience through all my professions, a positive attitude is a mindset that there will be a consistent and positive outcome to every situation and problem. In other words, someone who expects the best will bring a good attitude to the table without fail. Looking at each situation in life realistically and expecting the best outcome is what sets successful people apart from average Joe.How do you encourage, nurture and protect your attitude? Mostly, by working hard to truly like yourself as a human being. We all have faults and things about ourselves that are less than desirable but we also have traits which others find energizing and powerful. What are your positive traits? Why do you feel loved and cherished? When you look at yourself positively, you bring a spring to your attitude and others will want to be around that attitude. As you go forward in your business, remember - people are looking at your products or services but mostly, they are looking at you and the message you bring to the table. As you work on self-development, search for book and articles that contain information which nurture this valuable quality in you. What kind of attitude do you have? Are you ready for success?

How to Get Your Financial Life Back On Track After DivorceI have just been through a divorce, and I feel as though I’ve been through the wringer. I have a great therapist who is helping me through the emotional aftermath, but I don’t know where to begin to get my financial life back on track.Unfortunately, "splitting the sheets" also means splitting the assets and splitting the income. Here are five steps to get back on the road to financial recovery.Stash cashDivorce is a financial drain. After divorce, you will need time to rebuild financial resources. Begin now to squirrel away funds that will be available for emergencies, vacations, etc. Those funds will see you through tough times, and nothing rebuilds security like that good green poultice "cash."Separate money and emotionAs you work through your grief and anger and mourn lost dreams, don’t let money issues cloud your perspective. Life may not be fair, but don’t descend into depression with each check you write or re- ignite your anger if your support check comes late. Accept your financial situation, know your legal remedies, and pursue them with dogged detachment.Focus on financesIt’s hard to be optimistic about a shaky financial future. If you are disoriented financially, this is the right time to get a grip on your financial life. Sharpen your pencil and get busy creating new financial plans for your future. Once you know where you are going, you can look forward to the future rather than back to the past.Get your career in gearIf your career opportunities are not what you would like, get off your duff and make some changes. You are beginning a new life, and it’s time to move ahead rather than wallowing in the past. Take some courses, prepare a resume, explore the opportunities in the marketplace. Turn around, fact the future, and barge ahead. You’ll be surprised what you can do.Tie up loose endsGet your financial house in order. Rewrite your will, change the beneficiaries on your insurance policies, review your retirement plan documents, clean out your financial closet and get rid of worn out investments. Straighten your files and square things away. You can’t move ahead if you are tripping over your financial shoelaces. A question with appearance!!

Ladies, we are so determined to do things to make us so beautiful on the outside. We have our nails, hair and make-up done to perfection. We rock the latest in designer clothes, accessories and yes shoes all those shoes!! There is nothing wrong with doing so. However, when will our aspirations make us look good on the inside? When will we seek time to look inside our spirit in order to bring out the best in us? When will we take time out to motivate our inner being; to be our own boss, get out of debt, have more positive relationships and be successful on the inside? Ladies, we all know most of us have waited at the hair salon including myself, for hours to get that updo, sidesweep, extensions. weave, and curly look. However, my question to you is can we allot 10 minutes a day to connect and empower ourselves or is it asking to much???

This is an update to the previous post entitled, "Thought You Might Be Interested." This is a message from Nicole Bradley herself addressed to you'll. Thank you, Dr. Hooks"Hello,I have created the Diva's Dating Assessment tool for the purpose of helping women make more informed decisions related to dating. It is my hope that this book will help reduce instances of domestic violence, STDs, and homelessness. Once this book is published, I accept donations for this book and give a portion back to domestic violence organizations, shelters, and donate them to women. Essentially, I plan to give the books away. This is what the Lord has given me to do. I wished that there had been such a book like this when I was dating my first husband, but you live and learn and now I'm trying to pass that knowledge on to others.I am writing to ask you to donate to the Diva's Dating Assessment Tool's production. Here's why you should donate:When you make a pledge of $10.00 your name or website will be featured on the Partner of Prestige Page in the book. When you make a pledge of $20.00, I will give you 1/2 page to advertise your business, book, service, ministry, etc in my book. When you make a pledge of $32.50, I will give you a full page in my book to advertise your book, business, service, ministry, organization, etc.You must create your own advertisement and send it once you've made your pledge.Hurry you only have until August 13, 2009 to take advantage of this offer. Thought You Might Be Interested

Hello,I am passing this information on to you in case you are interested and I am asking you to pass it on to other Authors and business people. I became a Lifetime Partner with Nicole Bradley, Author of "Never Would Have Made It" for only $21.95 which included a copy of her book. Once you become a partner, she will feature your book or business on her web site and give 10% of the proceeds from the sell of her book to your organization. She is also working on a dating assessment manual to help women. Here is what Nicole sent me and below this I will include the link so you can read more on her web site."I have written a dating assessment manual for women with the purpose of helping women to avoid getting into bad relationships, hopefully to prevent domestic violence, STDs, and reduce homelessness. As a former residential care Social Worker, Case Manager, and now teacher, I've observed that many of the problems in relationships come down to lack of communication and not having some bold and courageous conversations. Some women simply don't know what to ask. I learned the hard way and want to help some women to avoid some of the dating pitfalls that I've encountered. I am in the process of putting things together for the book. Some of my author friends have donated to this book to assist with the publication. In exchange for their contributions, I offered them space in my book to promote their businesses and product. If you know of individuals who would like the opportunity to advertise in the book, would you please have them to contact me."http://neverwouldhavemadeit.4t.com/index.htmlThank you'll for your time and be blessed,Dr. Hooks

IS MLM IS A BIG OL' LIE?

BURNED BY THE BIG MLM LIE!

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) known as Network Marketing is a system for selling goods or services through a network of distributors. The typical Multilevel Marketing program works through recruitment. You are invited to become a distributor, sometimes through another distributor of the Multilevel Marketing company's products and sometimes through a generally advertised meeting. If you choose to become a distributor with the Multilevel Marketing company, you'll earn money both through the sales of the MLM's products and through recruiting other distributors, by receiving a portion of the income these distributors generate.MLM has the well-deserved reputation of chewing up the masses and spitting them out as a day-to-day affair.Well, i am here to tell you that MLM was not designed to work the way the Diamonds, or 5-Star, Presidential Directors, blah blah has communicated to us.I only participate in MLM businesses with a Binary Plan. Why? Because binary means TWO. I honestly believe that anyone interested in going into a network marketing business MUST know at least two people. As a matter of fact this is true with ANY business. If not, I will highly recommend that they not invest the time, effort, nor money. With a binary model, you are required to BRING 2 people PERSONALLY ENROLLED by you in order to qualify for bonuses and commissions. So answer me this -- Why do the big dogs tell us to bring in 20, 50, or even 100?Yes, you can make considerably more money with the various bonuses, fast start bonuses, etc, if you bring in a boatload of people. But how many of us know a boat load of people interested in MLM? And how many of us can effectively manage 50 or 100 people to success?MLM has been said to be a 'touch' approach to direct selling. Yes, in the direct selling industry, the most successful ones are the ones who know how to tap into their warm and hot lists and leverage off of those they know ... and who they know .. and on and on. Human interaction, training, caring, and HELPING goes a long way towards success.Yes, I know ... many of the most successful 'leaders' in network marketing tell us to bring the large numbers. Why? Well, when those at the bottom finally figure out they are feeding those at the top, they drop out. But with large enough numbers, those who dropped out are easily replaced by the next bunch of bright-eyed newbies. This cycle repeats over and over again. So the big guy with the huge list of people get 200 people to come in as his personally enrollees. What are the implications of such an approach? The big guy has to train all 200 of these people to do what he has done! You know as well as I do that a very, very small percentage of the 200 people will be able to get 200, or 100 or even 5 people into the business. Meanwhile, while they try their darnedest, the big guy is making a boatload of cash from their monthly product purchases before they get a clue and drop out extremely disappointed with the whole deal. And eventually the folks at the bottom get tired of shelling out good money for products or services every month and they quit. Very typical. How many people did the big guy really help? How many did he really pull up with him? How many? How many? Now, let me show you why bringing in 2 is sufficient to get you on your way to profitability. We BUILD RELATIONSHIPS! We pull each other up with the minimal amount of effort. We may not make $500,000 a year each but we can pull in $50,000 a year with checks arriving in as soon as 2 weeks. So how are we able to do this by bringing in just 2 people?I bring in 2 into a binary model program. I put one on my left leg and 1 on my right leg. I know these 2 people. They trust me, I trust them and they are trustworthy. That was easy. Now that i qualify for making cash in the MLM business since all that is required to qualify is to bring 2 who make product purchases to consume, sell or share. But you may ask, how can I build a team where we all win? Of course, just 2 will not put a dime in my pocket.Simple answer: I help my 2 get their 2 .. the same way, I brought them in. Bingo! There are now 4 more on my team for a total of 6. So their 2 brings in 2 and helps their 2 get 2. WOW! There are now 14 on my team. Then they bring in their 2. Now I have a total of 30... and on and on.UNBELIEVABLE! I didn't have to recruit 100 or 50 or even 10 distributors. All I had to do was find 2 trustworthy people who trusts me and simply help them do exactly what i did. No rah rah meetings! No making lists of 100s of people. No massive advertising. No ... none of that impersonal nonsense.Who did I learn this from? Reverend Dr. Duane Broom, the mastermind behind Operation Promised Land. (Well, he says he is no genius and the plan was imparted to him from God). Go to the site and be sure to click through to all 7 videos. You WILL receive a EUREKA Moment! Many 'real' people have been financially empowered. I don't mean yachts and mansions type of empowerment ... i mean being able to finally purchase groceries, pay their mortgage, purchase an automobile kind of empowerment. This has been very successful for me in my USANA, Gano Excel, and ProxyComm multi-level marketing businesses. Yes I am in profit. Yes, they are in profit. No, we do not work the business 40 hours a week. No, we do not spend our waking hours in meetings. We do meet ... yes we meet to chat, laugh, support one another, over Gano Coffee and Tea, discuss the merits of USANA no-preservative toothpaste and the cost-savings associated with getting a ProxyComm toll-free number on our cell phones to make unlimited calls to one another, make vacation plans, and talk about how we can continue supporting one another. What is also amazingly rewarding is that we have all found new friends... a new extended familyI challenge you to find an Orange Pink Diamond (or whatever it is they call themselves) who made his fortunes by cracking the whip on the little guys ... find him who has developed such strong relationships, found new friends, and sleeps at night knowing that his empire was built on the back of those who have yet to see one iota of profit coming their way. Okay, I m being unfair. There are some top dogs who are nice, helpful, guys but ... I'm just saying ...I have tested this model and, by gosh, it works! What is key and gives the team members a no-risk proposition is that I will not enter the first group into the program until I have collected enough names to put folks in profit BEFORE they enter the business. Meanwhile the folks who are at the bottom of the list continue to get their 2 and on and on and on. Then when we have accumulated enough names, we continue to enter folks into the business once a week while maintaining a buffer which allows us to continue this process over and over again. So, if you are interested in how I make this work for all in a short-period of time while we as a group benefactor and help financially those at the bottom get their 2, contact me at 1.877.896.4383. But be sure to have your TWO so I can help you help them to finally pocket multiple streams of income in this economy of opportunity! By the way, did I mention that you keep your money in your pocket UNTIL a profit center has been built for you? YES! How About That for NO RISK? Ask Me How!We all fail if one of us is left to fail.By the way, I am one of those 'big dogs' with a huge list of prospects, networkers, etc. I can bring in 200 but it goes against my formula for success. I'm not creating millionaires ... I am empowering the masses to get their own financial bailout.God BlessFaith Renee Sloan1.877.896.4383
