HARO is a Good Media Resource

If you're looking for for media exposure, one good place to turn is the site HARO . What Peter Shankman has done with the HARO site is nothing short of phenomenal. But Peter can only do so much. He can get the word out for you but then it's up to you to do the rest.

Here are some tips I recommend when responding to HARO:

1) Include your contact information. This includes phone number(s) and an email address.

2) Do not tell someone to google your name during the initial screening process, especially if you haven't supplied any other information.

3) If the reporter has included their name in their query, you should address them by name when responding. It makes it more personable. And make sure it's the RIGHT name. Someone responded to my query with a "Hi Barbara" when my real name was clearly indicated right above their response.

4) Do not direct someone to your website if you haven't included other contact information. People do not have time to search out your contact information.

5) Keep your response simple and to the point. If you've written a book or spoken on a topic that has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject matter, it's not important to mention it. In my case, I wanted to know what would make you a good social media panelist.

The important thing to remember is to make sure you put your best message out there with the best contact information.

Go To McDonald's And Learn How To Market!

Today I received a very interesting and informative email from one of the Online Marketing Newsletters I subscribe to.

What really caught my eye was the subject of the email "Go To McDonald's and Learn How To Market"

I know you are probably thinking the same thing I thought, why go to McDonald's to Learn How To Market my business?

I wrote down some key points to share with you today.

Have you ever tasted a McDonald's hamburger? Of course you have. I must tell you, there's nothing special about their ingredients or the taste.

I bet you could make a much better hamburger than McDonald's with your eyes closed and one hand tied behind your back but as you can see, McDonald's is one of the most successful and well known fast food franchises in the world.

Well It's not the food McDonald's sells that makes them so dang successful. It's their MARKETING that makes you have Big Mac attacks on a regular basis.

It doesn't matter how incredible marvelous and eye catching your product is. It doesn't matter how cheap the price is or how outstanding the customer service is.

If you don't know how to be a marketer, you're not going to move any of your products.

50 years ago if you tried using the ancient marketing relics like passing out business cards or brochures, putting ads on craigslist, house parties, setting up booths at swap meets, friends and family, etc - those techniques world have worked because back then network marketing was considered to be a personal touch game.

With today's advanced technology, modern marketing techniques are 20 times much faster and efficient and can be done without you ever leaving home.

You did join a "home based business" right? In my opinion it'll also be more fun!

There Are 3 Critical Components You Need To Learn To Market Your Business In Today's World.

1) You need to have prospects approaching YOU - This marketing component is done through POSITIONING and is absolutely mandatory to have true marketing success.

There are millions of people out there looking for the benefits of your products or services daily. It doesn't matter what field you're in. Health and Wellness, Legal Services, Telecom, Travel, Online Shopping etc.

You need to make sure you put yourself in the path of those that reach out so that they'll approach YOU asking for info.

2) You need to BECOME AN EXPERT in the marketplace when it comes to the product and/or service you are selling. For example, lowering cholesterol, weight loss, travel legal services, etc.

You would go to Michael Jordan because you know he's an expert in basketball or you'd go to Donald Trump because he's an expert in real estate right? They are experts in their fields.

I promise you'll have to beat prospects off you with a stick once you've established your expertise around your products and services. I'll discuss more on how to do this in future blogs HERE.

3) You need to MASTER COMMUNICATION with your audience using 3 key marketing vehicles. The telephone, the internet and the written word.

It doesn't matter what products or services you market or what marketing tools you decide to use. The telephone, web sites, blogs, emails, etc.

Mastering these 3 key forms of communication will help you get prospects and turn your prospects into clients and team members.

The bottom line is YOUR prospects will search for you to based on the knowledge you have to help them!

If you are a regular reader of SistaSense.com then you know that I dabble in Affiliate Marketing, but I mainly use Google Adsense as a means to generate extra income on my websites. I came across this new to me Affiliate Marketing Network: Logical Media, which I signed up to last week. I actually found one of their links via a mommy blog I like to read. When I checked them out I noticed they partnered with a few companies that have products I wouldn't mind promoting on my social networks, so I figured why not give them a try. If you are a Logical Media affiliate or want to signup with LM, feel free to let me know what you think of them. You know I talk about affiliate marketing all the time, and I even have my own affiliate program, so if you are looking for a legit side hustle online, this would be it. The key to making it work for you is having an audience. People have to follow you and trust your recommendations if you expect them to click on or signup to any affiliate products you choose to sell. My advice to you, if you are new to affiliate marketing or trying to figure out why its NOT working for you I would suggest focusing less on the links and more on your content. Its all about giving online viewers valuable information and within that info recommending relevant affiliate products. Banners work well if you've got a high traffic site, but I've found the most effective affiliate campaigns are embedding your links into your text (ie, blog posts, articles, forum discussions (NOT pitches), etc.). I'm off to go setup my new affiliate links! Later. Related: Little Tweaks: Increasing Your Google Adsense Revenue

New ID Theft Targets Kids' SS Numbers

idt_banner4.gif

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The latest form of identity theft doesn't depend on stealing your Social Security number. Now thieves are targeting your kid's number long before the little one even has a bank account.

Hundreds of online businesses are using computers to find dormant Social Security numbers — usually those assigned to children who don't use them — then selling those numbers under another name to help people establish phony credit and run up huge debts they will never pay off.

Authorities say the scheme could pose a new threat to the nation's credit system. Because the numbers exist in a legal gray area, federal investigators have not figured out a way to prosecute the people involved.

"If people are obtaining enough credit by fraud, we're back to another financial collapse," said Linda Marshall, an assistant U.S. attorney in Kansas City. "We tend to talk about it as the next wave."

The sellers get around the law by not referring to Social Security numbers. Instead, just as someone might pay for an escort service instead of a prostitute, they refer to CPNs — for credit profile, credit protection or credit privacy numbers.

Julia Jensen, an FBI agent in Kansas City, discovered the scheme while investigating a mortgage-fraud case. She has given presentations to lenders across the Kansas City area to show them how easy it is to create a false credit score using these numbers.

"The back door is wide open," she said. "We're trying to get lenders to understand the risks."

It's not clear how widespread the fraud is, mostly because the scheme is difficult to detect and practiced by fly-by-night businesses.

But the deception is emerging as millions of Americans watch their credit scores sink to new lows. Figures from April show that 25.5 percent of consumers — nearly 43.4 million people — now have a credit score of 599 or below, marking them as poor risks for lenders. They will have trouble getting credit cards, auto loans or mortgages under the tighter lending standards banks now use.

The scheme works like this:

Online companies use computers and publicly available information to find random Social Security numbers. The numbers are run through public databases to determine whether anyone is using them to obtain credit. If not, they are offered for sale for a few hundred to several thousand dollars.

Because the numbers often come from young children who have no money of their own, they carry no spending history and offer a chance to open a new, unblemished line of credit. People who buy the numbers can then quickly build their credit rating in a process called "piggybacking," which involves linking to someone else's credit file.

Many of the business selling the numbers promise to raise customers' credit scores to 700 or 800 within six months.

If they default on their payments, and the credit is withdrawn, the same people can simply buy another number and start the process again, causing a steep spiral of debt that could conceivably go on for years before creditors discover the fraud.

Jensen compared the businesses that sell the numbers to drug dealers.

"There's good stuff and bad stuff," she said. "Bad stuff is a dead person's Social Security number. High-quality is buying a number the service has checked to make sure no one else is using it."

Credit bureaus can quickly identify applications that use numbers taken from dead people by consulting the Social Security Administration's death index.

Social Security numbers follow a logical pattern that includes a person's age and where he or she lived when the number was issued. Because the system is somewhat predictable, sellers can make educated guesses and find unused numbers using trial and error.

A "clean" CPN is a number that has been validated as an active Social Security number and is not on file with the credit bureaus. The most likely source of such numbers are children and longtime prison inmates, experts said.

Robert Damosi, an analyst with Javelin Strategy & Research, said the crime can come back to hurt children when they get older and seek credit for the first time, only to discover their Social Security number has been used by someone else.

"Those are the numbers criminals want. They can use them several years without being detected," Damosi said. "There are not enough services that look at protecting the Social Security numbers or credit history of minors."

Since the mortgage meltdown of 2008, banks have tightened lending policies, but many credit decisions are still based solely on credit scores provided by FICO Inc. and the three major credit unions: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.

Federal investigators say many businesses do not realize that a growing number of those credit scores are based on fraudulent information.

"Lenders don't understand that when they pay money to go through a service, they may be receiving false information," Jensen said. "They think when they order the information from credit bureaus, it must be true."

Without special scrutiny, credit profiles created with the scheme are not immediately distinguishable from other newly created, legitimate files.

Investigators say the businesses clearly know they are selling Social Security numbers, but it's difficult to prove. The sellers use complex disclaimers that disavow illegal activity and warn customers against using their numbers in place of Social Security numbers.

The businesses also instruct customers to provide false information when using the number to apply for credit. Customers are told to use their real name and date of birth, but to avoid listing any addresses or phone numbers they've used in the past. They're also told to avoid any other information that connects the new, clean credit profile with the old, damaged one.

Craig Watts, a spokesman for credit reporting agency FICO Inc., said FICO has tools available for businesses to protect themselves from this type of fraud, but they are not cheap. And many lenders are slow to adopt FICO's new formulas, which are updated every few years.

Some companies that sell the numbers have lavish, high-tech websites. Others run no-frills ads on sites like Craigslist.

Jim Buckmaster, president and CEO of the San Francisco-based Craigslist, recently told the AP in an e-mail that there were "fewer than 200" classifieds on his site that used the word "CPN."

Within an hour of that e-mail exchange, dozens of the ads in cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York had been pulled from the site. Many were reposted the next day.

An AP reporter called several of the sites, but got only recordings asking callers to leave a message with contact information.

Experts say the fraud will be difficult to stop because it's so easily concealed and targets such vulnerable people. Other than checking with the credit bureaus to see if there is a credit file associated with your child's Social Security number, spokesmen at FICO, the Social Security Administration and the FTC said there are no specific tools for safeguarding the number.

"This is an invisible crime, with invisible victims who don't have enough support out there to help them," said Linda Foley of the ID Theft Resource Center in San Diego.

I have to admit once upon a time I was a bit skeptical about any link or information I would receive pertaining to business grants. Mostly because when I did reach out to find grants most of the time I would be prompted to pay $79.95 or some unreasonable amount of money to receive the information about a supposedly FREE Government resource! It all seemed counterproductive and honestly "scammy" (made up word of the day)

Flash forward--as I've been re-vamping my accounting and bookkeeping business from outside my back yard and into the mainstream, I've been discovering many unknown "gems" and resources available for existing and aspiring business owners and you know what? They're LEGIT!

Getting grants from these places may not be as simple as asking, you actually have to build a business plan and pitch your idea to them, but the beauty of it all is that that is it. In the wake of the economic crisis, recession and just historical knowledge, many organizations are realizing that minorities and women of color in particular aren't catching up in numbers to their white counterparts as successful entrepreneurs and urban dwellers are still left to their own devices when seeking to established businesses. Access to capital still remains an issue!

Check out this post to discover 3 resources that may help you on your journey to business success!

Be empowered,

Your Inner Circle

We all have what is called our inner circle. It is a circle of friends, or associates, these are people that we feel we can trust and go to in our times of need. Some of us grow and want more for ourselves, our dreams seems to be bigger than that of your friends or associates. When you finally reach that AHA moment where you are clearly focused and excited because your dream is very clear to you, you go and tell a friend and they quickly bring down your emotions that are running high. They do not seem as excited as you are, in fact they look at you as if to say "Yea right", or "I hear you talking." At that point we no longer have that excited feeling and we go back to the same frame of mind we were in before everything became clear. That negative energy has been passed and we took it in. We find ourselves putting our dreams on the backburner because of lack of support at that moment. But were we supposed to?

The truth is when we reach that moment that all is clear and we can see our dreams right in front of us, we should act on it. When your life takes a shift and you can feel it, it is then time for some to get off the bus, you know those who have been riding for free for so long. Everyone is not going to be excited for you, or want to support you and your dream and it is ok because it is not meant for everyone to ride your bus. When your bus starts to move you want people who are just as excited about the things that you do, people who speak positive words on a regular. We all know or should know that positive thinking brings about positive things and negative thinking brings along negative things. We want the positive energy, purge out the negative because it creates baggage that will wear you down and you will never get anywhere. So who in your inner circle is creating that baggage?

If God came to you and spoke and told you that this is what you have been called to do then why question him. Man did not give you the vision that you see so clearly, that was God all by himself. In order for your vision to manifest we must move when he says move and not on our own time. So it does not matter what other people think or say or even if they are not excited about the things that are happening for you. God said this is your purpose and he is all that matters.

THE WATER SCHOOL SAVING LIFES IN AFRICA

JUNIQUES IS PROUD TO PRESENT THIS ARTICLE (WWW.JUNIQUES.WS)

Introducing Sandra Getuba - Director of Development for a Great Domain Industry Supported Charity Organization - The Water School

As most of our regular readers know, The Water School has been "adopted" by many as the unofficial charity of the domain industry. The Canada-based non-profit organization has developed a cost effective water purification program that is saving lives in Africa and other developing nations around the world (see our February 2010 newsletter for an account of an industry supported climb of Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro that raised almost $200,000 for The Water School).

The organization was founded by Fraser Edwards and water scientist Bob Dell who have put together an energetic staff of impressive young people who plan to carry on the founders work for decades to come. One of

those young TWS leaders (whom I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Vancouver conference last month) is the organization's Director Development, Sandra Getuba.

I wanted to give you a little more insight into what The Water School is all about, the caliber of people who carry out its work and why it has gained so much support with the domain industry. I decided the best way to do that would be to share a recent chat with Sandra Getuba with you.

DN Journal: Sandra, let’s start from the beginning. Tell us where you born and a little bit about your birth place and family growing up.

Introducing Sandra Getuba and The Water School.pdf

Sandra Getuba
Director of Development
The Water School

Sandra Getuba: I was born in Kenya in a little town called Kendu Bay located on the shore of Lake Victoria. Kendu Bay by the way is the birthplace of Barack Obama’s father! In those days, good hospitals were not common in Africa so my mother traveled to a little mission hospital on Kendu Bay. It was a difficult trip and unbeknownst to her, she was carrying triplets. Two did not survive. But I did and all my life I have always had the feeling that the circumstances of my birth indicate that I am here for a special reason. I don’t know what it is (still trying to figure it out!) but I know it’s definitely to do with helping those less fortunate than I am.

My parents were young university students when they had my younger sister and I. We lived in Nairobi (the capital city of Kenya) but we traveled to the village almost every school holiday to spend time with our grandparents, cousins and other relatives. Life in Nairobi vs. life in the village was very different. In the city we had access to all things modern. In the village, my cousins and I spent our days, fetching water from the river, collecting firewood, tending to the garden, picking tea and yes, grazing cows! It was important to my parents that we stayed in touch with the way of life of millions of Kenyans lest we take our own lives for granted. They wanted us to appreciate what we had and at the same time, be compassionate to those who had less than we did.

DN Journal: At what point in your life did you start thinking about what you might want to do with your life and how you could go about accomplishing your goals?

Sandra Getuba: Growing up, my friends used to tease me that one day I would be a humanitarian of some sort. I was a tiny little thing with a smart mouth who often rushed to the defense of kids being picked on by bullies. At the time, my compassion for those who could not defend themselves was the driving force behind my recklessness. That temperament diminished over time but I never stopped empathizing with the less fortunate. I have always known that I wanted to help them in some way. When I went abroad to study, I became even more aware of the injustices that people in developing countries face as they struggle to secure basic needs such as water, food, education and shelter. I knew that I was very lucky to have the opportunities that had brought me to where I was and I knew that one day I wanted to give back to my own people in some capacity, to give a voice to the voiceless. I had no idea how but I knew the first step was to finish my studies first then figure out the next step.

DN Journal: Cultures around the world vary greatly. Were there any particular obstacles in your country that a young woman has to pursue a career or particular goals?

Sandra Getuba: Even in these modern times, there are many obstacles that young women in Africa face when trying to pursue their careers. How they overcome them depends a lot on the level of education they have and the kind of support they get from their own families. Most obstacles pertain to the vulnerability of women in African societies which are structured in a way that prevent them from pursuing successful careers. For example, many communities (especially in the rural areas) marry off young girls before they have a chance to finish high school or even primary school in some cases. Once this happens, they have very little hope in having a career of any sort. Women are expected to play the role of wife and primary caregiver and which takes precedence over everything else. It is difficult to break this mentality especially in the rural areas.

Some career obstacles that young women face are similar to what we sometimes see out here in the west. Those who manage to pursue careers face significant challenges in the workplace with regard to advancing up the corporate ladder or even getting the same salaries as their male counterparts.

DN Journal: You wound up going to Australia for college. Tell us how that came about and what stands out in your mind about your years there.

Sandra Getuba: My parents valued education and they sacrificed a lot so that my siblings and I would go to good schools. My mother was the first girl in her entire village to go to university. When I completed my high school, they decided to send me to Australia for my university studies. Universities in Kenya at the time were pretty unstable. Riots were common and they often forced local universities to shut down such that a four year degree would take 6 years because of constant interruptions. Parents

fervent supporters, Gregg McNair (PPX
International), with Sandra Getuba at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Vancouver - June 2010

who could afford, or rather barely afford, sent their kids abroad to study in places like the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia or even India. Most would put their kids on a plane with the first semester’s fees and then it was up to them to take care of themselves for the rest of their studies. This usually has unfortunate consequences because it is unbearably difficult for kids to earn a living to pay for fees and living expenses all while studying. Most cannot cope and they drop out, go underground (because they violate their visa status) or go back home.

My mother traveled to Australia on business and was impressed by its people and beauty. She collected some brochures and application forms for me and we applied to at least 5 universities. University of Wollongong (located an hour and a half south of Sydney) responded with impressive speed so that is where I ended up. So at nineteen and never having left the country, much less my parent’s home, I was shipped to Australia to study. The deal was that I would work for my living expenses and my parents would pay my fees. My sister joined me a couple of years later and while it was nice to have family, it was a difficult burden on my parents. A few times,

Introducing Sandra Getuba and The Water School.pdf

guests at a dinner honoring The Water School
hosted by domain investor Richard Lau
in Vancouver, Canada - June 2010

they relied on the goodwill of relatives and friends to fundraise or borrow money to pay for our fees. In my final semester, they had just about exhausted every option. My sister suspended her studies so I could finish mine and my parents sold their last piece of land to pay my fees. I was still about $1,000 dollars short and was not going to graduate unless I paid the balance. A few amazing Australians put together a quick fundraiser and raised that money for me without my knowing it. I graduated knowing that it was the kindness and charity of a few human beings that made it possible.

DN Journal: After you completed college, tell us about the career path that led you to Canada and an eventual connection with The Water School?

Sandra Getuba: I studied Psychology in university which gave me insight into human relations but I knew it was

not going to solve the world’s problems. As soon as I moved to Canada, I enrolled in a postgraduate program in International Project Management at Humber College in Toronto. It was an intensive, practical program that focused on international development issues. I did a six month internship in Tanzania with a microfinance NGO which further opened my eyes to the issues that Africans face.

As soon as I came back to Canada, I was diagnosed with Lupus which forced me to slow down and focus on my health for a while. This setback prevented me from going back to Africa to work because I needed to have access to a good healthcare system. I fell into fundraising quite by accident after getting a job as a Project Coordinator with a leading fundraising management firm called Ketchum Canada Inc (KCI) based in Toronto. While there, Fraser Edwards approached me to draft a funding proposal for The Water School which he had just started with Bob Dell.

I moved to Edmonton shortly afterwards and continued to build my fundraising experience as a Fundraising Coordinator at Ronald McDonald House. I continued to maintain contact with Fraser Edwards and occasionally bugged him for a job with The Water School but the timing was never right. Eventually, the need for The Water School to expand its programs and increase staff could not be put off any longer. Neither could my desire to work for a charity that is involved with international development. On April 1st 2010, I started my role as a Director of Development for The Water School. In a nutshell, it is up to me to raise funds for The Water School programs in Africa (and wherever we expand to in the future) and to help raise awareness in communities across Canada on the work that we do and that impact that we are having.

Introducing Sandra Getuba and The Water School.pdf

The Water School's founders:
Bob Dell (left) and Fraser Edwards.

DN Journal: The Water School’s system for bringing clean drinking waters to developing nations is so efficient and cost effective and it is easy to see why anyone would want to get involved. Of course, you have a personal history with a continent where the Water School has been especially active so have a unique perspective. From your viewpoint, tell us what you thought about the program when you were introduced to it and the good you have seen it do first hand.

Sandra Getuba: Back in 2007 when Fraser Edwards approached me for help with a funding proposal, I began to research on solar disinfection (SODIS). I was completely blown away by the whole concept and the potential impact it could have on my own people. I had seen firsthand the effects of drinking contaminated water. I have numerous little cousins and relatives that suffer untold misery as a result of waterborne diseases and I could see how an organization like the Water School could change their lives. I have an eleven year old cousin out in the village called Moraa. We share the same name because we are both named after our great grandmother. Her father (my uncle) died of HIV/AIDS about 3 years ago and my grandmother helped their mother look after Moraa and her siblings until she died last year. Ever since Moraa was a little girl she was always home sick with diarrhea and stomach pains. It was discovered years later that her symptoms were related to Typhoid, a serious waterborne disease that plagues thousands of people in Africa. Moraa, a very bright girl, had missed so much school that she had to repeat a couple of grades.

Introducing Sandra Getuba and The Water School.pdf

A few of the many people helped by
The Water School's efforts in Kenya.

The Water School program significantly impacts the lives of families and school children like Moraa. Most families are too poor to afford firewood to boil water or buy chlorine tablets or filters to treat their water. Children miss countless of days of school because they are too sick from diarrhea to attend school. The program that we run at The Water School ensures that children like Moraa do not have to miss school. It gives people an alternative method of treating water that is effective, simple and affordable.

My dream is that The Water School program will reach every village in Africa. People need not suffer and children need not die because of preventable waterborne diseases. We at The

Water School look at the work we are doing as a movement, an organized effort to bring about positive, lasting change in communities which do not have access to clean drinking water.

DN Journal: Fraser Edwards has said that you are part of a team of young people that he and Bob are mentoring so their work will continue after they have gone. Tell us about how the relationship between Fraser, yourself, James and Brad and what you have learned from the Water School founders.

Sandra Getuba: Fraser and Bob (I, respectfully, call them the old guards!) have always had the vision that The Water School movement would be carried forward by young people who are committed to issues the organization is trying to address. Bradley Pierik is studying his Masters in Chemical Engineering at the University of British Columbia and the idea is that he will continue to keep The Water School at the forefront of cutting edge research where water treatment technology is concerned. He is developing a relationship with Eawag, a Swiss federal water research organization that is the world leader in SODIS research and that implements SODIS projects in 24 countries. James Morfopolous, also a Masters student, recently came on board to assist with our marketing and communications efforts. He is focusing right now on the promoting and coordinating the Mount Kilimanjaro climb that will take place in March 2011.

The three of us bring a youthful and fresh perspective to The Water School that Bob and Fraser find very valuable. On the other hand were learning a lot from Bob and Fraser who have many years of experience in doing what they do. We have to sustain the vision and put measures in place now that will make sure that The Water School vision outlives us all.

DN Journal: Many people in the domain industry have begun supporting Water School efforts. Tell us a little bit about how much good even a small donation can do. Also, how can those who want to lend a hand best support the effort?

Sandra Getuba: At the recent T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference in Vancouver, I got to meet and talk to a few of people in the domain industry who are supporters of the Water School and I was amazed by their level of commitment and dedication. They have a sincere desire to see The Water School grow and impact more people. For most of them, it took a trip to Africa to visit our projects or to participate in the Mount Kilimanjaro Climb for Clean Water (or both) for them to be convinced that the need is real and the impact of our program is profound.

The Water School relies on donations to carry out our mission. Every dollar helps. $50 will provide clean water to an entire family of five. For life. For a lot of people $50 is nothing. But for thousands of people in Africa, it is a matter of life or death. It is everything. It means that a mother does not have to worry about her children getting sick from drinking contaminated water. It means that a child does not have to miss school.

There are several ways in which people in the domain industry can lend their support to The Water School. They can participate in next year’s Mount Kilimanjaro Climb for Clean Water that will take place in March 2011. If they are unable to do so, they can sponsor a climber or they can make a direct donation to The Water School through our website or by mail. Please visit www.waterclimb.com for more information.

Alternatively, they can get in touch with James Morfopoulos at James@morfopoulos.com or by phone at 778-829-0073.

We welcome and are always thankful for donations (no matter what the amount is). Donations can be made directly on our website www.thewaterschool.com or by mailing a cheque to 112 Lakeside Views Strathmore, Alberta Canada T1P 1Z7. Charitable tax receipts are issued with every donation.

Thanks to a very generous donor, our 2010 administrative expenses are taken care of so 100% of the donations go directly to The Water School projects!
