Motivational quotes to inspire you!

"Let [abundance] flow through your thoughts, your actions, your words and your feelings. Let go of the doubts and fears that seem so real but which exist only because you keep them alive."

"Replace those doubts with beautiful, authentic dreams. Replace your fears with powerful, positive determination and the commitment to be your best."

One thing you must know for maximum breakthrough in 2010A mindset shift is crucial. I’ve talked about mindset for quite abit and I will continue to talk about it because it is one thingthat sabotages our success in life. There are a coupleof mindset shifts that need to happen if you’re going to havebreakthrough in 2010 and realize the benefits of women’s empowerment.I’ll list four of them below.1. ThoughtsYour thoughts play a big role in what you manifest and have manifested.Your subconscious mind is ready to move on what you say and what youthink. It doesn’t know the difference between Whether you’re serious orif your statement or thought is temporary based on your current situationor not. Your subconscious mind is ready to move on whatever you presentto it as such it’s important that you make the shift towards a positivemindset.Your thoughts become energy. If your thoughts are negative, theenergy is negative; If positive , then the energy is positive. When emotions become involved with the thoughts, the energy is evenstronger. The energy, however, doesn’t remain dormant – it expands. It expands each time you think your thought. As energy builds and gains strength, it begins to attract like energy.Like a magnet, the energy attracts other like matter to it. Since theenergy is inside you, it attracts the like matter to you.As you can see, negative thoughts and energy weaken you and yourability to achieve.2. Quantum leapThere’s no more time to move slow on your aspirations. It’s time to makequantum leaps. Time to think bigger, dream bigger and live bigger. Yes,you want to learn the necessary skills and strategies and lay a strongfoundation, however, when you move you want to move with great intentionsand in a Big way for Big results.3. SuccessMany of us have been conditioned by society, our environment, relationshipsetc. and this his left us with a failure mindset and even a mentality of inferiority. It’s imperativethat you surround yourself with a mentor and/or coach that will allow you to embrace a successmindset. You can’t afford to surround yourself with individuals with negative mindsets, individuals that are not trying to pursue their greatness or stretch.Do what you have to do to make the shift to a success mindset.Successful people do what unsuccessful people aren’t willing to do.4. AbundanceYou can no longer operate in a scarcity mentality. This type ofindividual operates from a place of limitation and not enough. Makethe shift from a mindset of lack to that of abundance. See, hearand speak abundance. As I read on one of my calls from Ephesians 3:20Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] powerthat is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and]do super abundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask orthink [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes,or dreams]--21To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughoutall generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it)There you have it. No shortage. God is able to do more than enough!Renew your vision to His vision, see through His eyes the abundancethat He has for His children.I’ve shared one thing you must know for maximum breakthrough in 2010.There are many more things that I could share as I shared on one ofmy Teleseminars, however, I’d like to offer you an opportunity tolearn more by connecting with me via this free resource. The mind of the entrepreneur

Rome wasn't built in a day... but it was built; this means that someone at some point had to stop dreaming and start doing! There's a wonderful word in the bible which captures my point... "faith without works is dead"The entrepreneur understands that a dream without effort or indeed a plan of how to achieve it, is like sun without the shine... rain without drops or snow without the flakes; in other words it lacks substance. The reason many refuse to move from dream to reality is a fear of failure, yet all dreams flounder and fail before they fly. The entrepreneur understands this and embraces rather than shuns or runs away from failure, knowing that each fail attempt bring them closer to their dream. They understand that set backs, or lack of progress are all a part of the process of success. The entrepreneur is a tryer, a doer, a believer, and a forward thinker. They believe wholly in the phrase “if at first you don’t succeed, try and try and try again.” They understand that lasting success happens not overnight; but rather in the quiet of long nights and arduous days. Failures, set backs and rejection are all a part of their journey; but so also is belief, faith, confidence in one self, unique achievement and success.Don't get me wrong, no entrepreneur enjoys loosing money, but because they work for money, but allow money to work for them, they know that what leaves one way comes back a hundred different ways! They have come to realise that money is fluid if it goes around... it will come around! The ability to make your dream a reality really rest with you. There’s an old proverb which says “when the student is ready the master will come” are you ready? It is said that the the Chinese bamboo tree takes 5 years to show any sign of growth. When the seed is planted, for years the farmer see’s no sign of his labour... nothing! Not even a sprout, the ground remains as it was when he first planted the seed. But then... one morning... after 5 years of checking, when he least expected it, A BAMBOO SHOOT! There after the Chinese bamboo tree goes on to grow up to 80 feet tall.It took a lot of effort, patience and determination for the farmer to believe that all his watering, fertilising, watching and hoping would amount to something. But the farmer; like the entrepreneur doesn't have to see to believe, he believes to see!

There are many interpretations of the word empowerment. I've listeda simple definition below.Empowerment: The act of giving power and authority to a person to perform his designated tasks and being enabled to do what is needed to accomplish agiven task, goal and mission.Empowerment is a choice. You either choose to embrace empowermentby learned life skill sets and other avenues or choose to sabotage anylevel of success by continuing disempowering behaviors, neglectingto learn and apply best practices and by failing to get clear on yourvision, goals and purpose in life.Women today fulfill many roles and most are either in businessand experience phenomenal success or in business and are slowlybecoming disenchanted with the whole idea of women in business.Business empowerment entails being diligent in utilizing effectivesystems. Just as you have a system down for washing clothes, payingbills or handling correspondence etc., there are systems that when useddiligently will empower your business. The question is how bad to you want it? Business Empowerment.I was watching the movie "Temptations" with my family and I recall onescene where Berry Gordy asked his quality control team when listeningto one of the Temp's songs which one would you choose the record or asandwich? The response to the first song was a sandwich. The next time he asked their response was the record. Being arecording artist and songwriter myself I totally understood whatwas being implied. The concept was in order for the song to be a hit a customer would needto desire the record so much that they would pass up buying something toeat if they had to make that choice.Well how do you see your business? Do you want it bad enough that you'dpass up a couple nights out to be able to invest in the system or program thatyou know will propel you forward? Or is the desire not strong enough and youcould still put it off saying to yourself "it will happen."Do you desire it bad enough to put in hours weekly with a marketing planfor realized growth instead of watching your favorite show? Or do you lackthe burning desire to pass up the show to gain new ground in your marketingefforts?Do you desire it bad enough to stop the insanity "doing the same thingexpecting different results" and connect with new systems, strategiesand an accountability measure? Or do you feel that you have all theinformation you need and that it will get better if you just keep workingharder? You must want business empowerment more than just saying affirmations daily.Your desire must be a burning desire a must have in order to propel youtowards the maximum empowerment you so desire to realize. You will never have the business you want without diligent pursuit, mindset shifts, goals, clarity of vision and more. It's going to take more than a casual approach to any endeavor.Business empowerment and ultimate success, how bad do you want it?I'd like to help you become clear on your vision, goals, unique positioning andequip you with proven strategies and keys to turbo-charge your business empowerment.Join me for my Teleseminar series here:http://www.RobinTramble.com/Dreamsalive.htmlSecrets to business breakthrough, clarity of vision, goals andyour unique positioning so you can finally realize your dreams.Robin Tramble Life Empowerment Mentor/Trainer/Coach empowers womento discover their authentic self, get unstuck and live their best empowered lifeby nurturing their spirit, soul and body.(c) Robin Tramble

Homeownership–It’s NOT Just About MoneyThe “numbers tell the story” examples should ease your mind about the financial aspects of becoming a homeowner. But there are other, less monetary, benefits to homeownership that may partially explain the fact that buyers buy when they are ready.Several research studies indicate that homeownership adds to the value of communities, has positive effects on children, and even contributes to increased voter participation rates.Homeownership: The American Dream More than two thirds of American households own their own home. They know the benefits of homeownership, from the accumulation of home equity, tax incentives, and the pride of owning a place of their own. They also had to take that first step of deciding “I’m ready to be a homeowner.” REALTORS® assisted many of today’s 75 million homeowners in both their decision to buy and their first home purchase. REALTORS® are real estate professionals who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and who abide by the Association’s strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. They can help guide you to first-time homebuyer programs in your area, as well as assist you in searching for and buying your home. Why Not Wait? You may wonder whether it is worthwhile to wait to purchase your home until prices are at their lowest. Prices are not the only factor that should drive your decision. Currently, interest rates are at generational lows that greatly improve the affordability of homes. Further on the annual cost table, you can see that even if home prices decline, the possible tax savings of owning a home lead to a lower cost for the buyer, not the renter. Also, there are special, additional tax benefits for first time home buyers that may be available for a limited time only. Finally, and most importantly, when you have made the decision to commit to homeownership because you are financially ready, market conditions are a secondary concern. In fact, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® 2008 Profile of Home Buyersand Sellers found that more than four in ten buyers purchased a home because the buyer was ready to make the commitment to homeownership.care of NAR

As woman entrepreneurs and a WAHM we are met with daily challengesthat if left to ourselves may take months and even years to overcome. There is one thing that if and when you commit to do will rendermaximized empowering success and that one thing is to have a mentor. You can have a mentor for your personal, spiritual and or business growth. This is what Oprah Winfrey says about a mentor:A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself…someone who allows you to know that no matter how dark the night, inthe morning joy will come… someone who allows you to see the higherpart of yourself when sometimes it becomes hidden to your own view.I think mentors are important and I don't think anybody makes it inthe world without some form of mentorship. Nobody makes it alone.Nobody has made it alone. And we are all mentors to people even whenwe don't know it."How many of you would rather reinvent the wheel or learn everythingby hard knocks? How many of you long for someone to just listen and at the appropriatetime offer value added feed back?Ever feel like you’re all alone and find it hard to stay motivated? You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, you don’t have to do it alone and there is someone who is ready and willing to listen to you and also offer key strategies and wisdom to help you move forward in life.A mentor should be:Someone who is going the way you want to go.Someone with integrity and who you respect.Someone who encourages you to get started and provide energy when you hear them or read their contentSomeone you trust will tell you what you need to hear and not just what you want to hearSomeone that genuinely cares about people and from what you know are authenticThe above should be the minimum that you find in your prospect for a mentor.Benefits of having a mentor include but are not limited to:Someone to listen and guide you in your endeavorsProvides motivationHelps build your self esteem and confidenceIncreases your levels of achievementA couple of things that could hinder your relationship with a mentor:A know it all attitudeWhining and complaining regardless of shared strategiesA lack of opennessLittle or no commitment to the relationshipWhen you invite a mentor into your life and add this valuable resource to your life I guarantee you will accelerate your ultimate success. As a woman entrepreneur you are faced with many opportunities togive up and yield to the obstacles that you are sure to face. The question is how do you resist fear and build courage?Fear can hinder you from achieving your goals. Fear can actuallysabotage any effort made towards setting goals, however, once youhave managed to set your goals the objective is to move on them andset action plans to achieve those goals. You may already know that a person's fear can hinder their chancesfor development and for success. Fear in itself can be debilitatingand can limit a person's ability to go through life in a healthy way. There is a good fear, for instance if a bus is heading in your path, swerving you have a right to fear. There is nothing wrong with healthyfear. You are at this time being alerted by fear that there is danger. So how do you resist fear?Make a choice not to entertain fear.Next take time to learn where your fear is originating from.Develop your confidence. Yes, confidence. We may exhibit fear becausewe are not confident in the task we're undertaking or may resort tooperating in fear of failure which is fueled by a lack of confidence. You develop your confidence by being educated in your area of operation, having your vision, mission and strategic plans for building a successfulbusiness in place. You develop your confidence by surrounding yourselveswith empowered, like-minded women, a coach, mentor and or trainer. Alsoby identifying programs and services that will empower you to stand outfrom your competition and operate in excellence within your niche.Move in the face of fear. Let's face it there will be times that you are experiencing fear so you might as well make the choice that when thishappens you are going to move, simply move forward in the face of fear.Don't focus on fear. Focus on building faith and becoming faith-full.You see fear is the opposite of Faith. So if you're not operating inFaith then you are operating in Fear. The objective is not to put allof our focus on eliminating fear but embracing life skills that allowus to freely move forward.Which brings me to the next area and that is courage. What is courage?Mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty synonyms Courage, mettle, spirit, resolution, tenacity mental or moral strength to resist opposition, danger, orhardship. Courage implies firmness of mind and will in the face ofdanger or extreme difficulty .Miriam Webster DictionaryBuilding courage will help you take risks to a brighter future that youordinarily would not take. When you build courage, you put fear behind you.Courage is the process of admitting that you have fears, yet you arewilling to find a way to defeat those fears and not allow these fears totake control of you. It is ok to experience your fears at appropriate times.Building courage will allow you to self-direct yourself in life. You willlearn to accept consequences and rewards gracefully.A person that has learned to accept responsibility is a courageousperson who will often feel motivated to accept blame and responsibilitywhile reviewing their actions and using what they learn to move forward. You will not find courageous people stepping back when opportunities cometheir way, they will step to the front. On the other hand, a courageous person will step back and take a view at his orher mistakes gracefully. One key thing essential to building your courage is to always involve yourselfin self improvement. A person willing to improve their life will relax. This person will relax even when plans fail. For instance, if it stormed thenext day the person will find something else to occupy her time andfeel just as fulfilled while participating in this activity and still beingproductive knowing that the opportune time will come for the postponed event.Inner peace is also key. There's nothing like facing challenges and set backswith much more ease because you have inner peace.Yes, as a woman entrepreneur you will face obstacles and things may not always go the way you've planned but with continued self improvement, personal, spiritual and business development you will learn to resist fear and move forward with courage. Now I invite you to take it a step further and receive support, tips and connect to transformational resourcesby requesting my 3 free empowering gifts to you. Why I Was Created

These words was written by John Rohn. His words said everything about why I was created.Sometimes you can’t make it on your own.Combine your knowledge; none of us issmarter than all of us.Welcome greatness; it lives all around you.Choose to think the best about others.Choose to believe the best about others.Be enthusiastic!!!Put people up; not down!Develop the ability to find the abilityin others; it’s “Priceless”!!Help others be liked.Help others be right.Help others be comfortable.Help others be winners.Get your ego out of the way.Replace “I” with “We".Inspire someone to bethe best they can be.Think like a person of action.Act like a person of thought.Have no regrets.Commit yourself to something bigger than yourself.Act as if what you do makes a difference. It Does!!Go for it!Start an epidemic of enthusiasm!Throw your heart over the bar and your body will follow.Don’t waste your time waiting for inspiration.Begin and inspiration will find you!Be on a mission!Never let weeds grow under your dreams.Never mistake knowledge for wisdom.Never chase a lie.Never laugh at anyone’s dream.Never make excuses.Make promises sparingly.Keep them faithfully.Have no limits.Never kill an idea.Pursue character before prosperity.Be loyal.Ask “What if?”Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you don’t have time to criticize others.Create an atmosphere of forgiveness.Make your word your bond.Don’t be little; be BIG!Learn to say NO! to the good.So you can say YES! to the great!Be unpopular when necessary.Never be ashamed of what you believe.Never let up when you are ahead.Don’t blow your own horn, or you just might miss the music.Let others lead small lives, but not you.Let others argue over small things, but not you.Let others cry over small hurts, but not you.Let others leave their future in someone else’s hands, but not you.Never be afraid to dream; be afraid not to.Never be afraid to live; be afraid not to.Never be afraid to love; be afraid not to.Never be afraid to laugh; be afraid not to.You’re ALIVE, “live it that way!”

When I was laid off from my job in November of last year, I got exactly what I wanted; and that was to be unemployed. I could barely pay my bills. My debt was increasing because I had to use my credit cards as a resource to help sustain and I was so unhappy about the structure of the department and the company. I used to tell my girlfriends, "I am so miserable working, I really want to do my own thang!" SO when the opportunity presented itself, I was sort of afraid of it. But once I thought about all of the free time that I would have to work on the projects that I had been procrastinating against for at least one year, my attitude changed. I picked my self up, applied for assistance, and left everything up to my number one source: God.The systematic way of living is not only modern day slavery for most, but it keeps individuals in debt and in bondage for most of their life. I can't speak for many, but I can use myself as a prime example. I went to a four-year university for my Bachelor's degree in Management and a two-year online university for my Masters. Once my adult life begun, I had already started it in a huge amount of debt due to student loans. Because I thought living the so-called "American Dream" involved purchasing a home, my fiancé and I decided to invest. That added more debt to my already growing heap of bills. I learned really early that credit cards weren't the way to go but I did have three major credit cards that I used religiously. And by the time it was all said and done, I had reached the limit on all of them! With a combined salary, credit card bills and student loans, we were not going to get out of debt and I saw myself sinking further and further in sinking sand. I was unhappy because of my situation and my mind was so cloudy with the issues of life, I forgot all about whom I should be talking to about my problems. Working daily just to pay bills was not what I envisioned for my life and I had to do something about it QUICK! Education is vital and so is investing but I wish I had planned my life a little better instead of just going with the flow of the systematic way of living. What is the “systematic way of living?” It is typically for the average American; being born; going to elementary, middle and high school with no worries; being sent off to college for about four to seven years; finally getting into the work force with worries of being successful, advancements, and debts; getting married; purchasing a home; raising a family; and working for about 30-40 years until retirement. The cycle is continuous and helps the economy with cash flow and jobs.November 8, 2008 is when I had an epitome. I looked at all of my accomplishments and what I could do to help myself out of the situation I was in and that's when I learned the power of prayer, accountability, and unwavering faith. I am the Co-Founder of a community-based organization that I so desperately want to give my all. I am a self-proclaimed writer. I am the Queen of Consulting and had professional training while in undergrad to help small businesses start their own business. I actually wrote my own business plan for a small business that I was apart of. I thought to myself, I am sitting on all of these talents, knowledge and training. BUT WHY AM I JUST STTING ON THEM!!!??? Why was I taking the long road when I have the opportunity to make my life much simpler and less complicated? Why would I even consider working 30-40 years for an annual salary of maybe $100,000-$250,000 (and only retire with this amount) when there is so much more out there for my family and I? What is keeping me from living my dreams? Why am I afraid of what I asked for?”People the time is now to get out there and make your dreams a reality. I don’t believe the hoopla of the economy being in a recession. Because I am a citizen directly affected by what’s going on, however, I am not. My lights, water, cable (movie channels included), and Internet, have not been disconnected. My home is not in foreclosure. I have not filed for bankruptcy, and will not by the way. And I am not employed! So what is this telling you?You can survive. No matter what it looks like to others. Figure out what you love to do. What is your passion? What is it that you would do even if you weren’t paid what you wanted to be paid but still happy and content doing? What gives you an adrenaline rush? What can you do better than most without schooling, training, or practice? Do you know a market that is untapped that you can tap into and really become successful? There is a story about a wealthy man who had three servants. The wealthy man went away for a long period of time, but he gave one servant a huge amount of money, another servant just enough money, and the last servant only a small portion of what was his. He provided the amount of money to each based on their abilities. He told these three servants to invest this money while he was away. The story goes on to say that the two servants that received the most money invested the money and had received twice the amount that was given to them. But the last servant buried the money, didn’t touch it, and didn’t invest it. He was afraid to take risks. He was complacent and pessimistic about what could possibly happen. Well the wealthy man returns to his servants and was expecting great news from the three servants but was really anxious to see what the servants did to increase the money that he provided them. When he saw that his first two servants not only made more money than he anticipated, but made a huge profit, he allowed them to enjoy with him the increase. The third servant thought that he did the right thing by just holding on to what was given to him and was excited to be able to give back the money. The wealthy man could not believe that the servant wasted time, did not make a profit, and was disappointed that the servant did not have enough sense to put the money in a bank to just gain interest. Because the servant did not invest or put the money to use, the wealthy man took the money back from him, gave it to the servant who he gave the most money to, and explained to him the importance of utilizing your gifts, talents, and resources to advance in life. He also fired him and wanted nothing to do with him because he felt that the servant was lazy. The third servant began with nothing, and because of his lack of hopefulness, he ended up with nothing.Fifty percent of the world is like the third servant. They hold on to everything they get instead of investing it into something that is going to make a better life for them or someone else. They are ambiguous. They refuse to be risk takers. They are afraid of the “what ifs.” Are you that person? Well, if you are, I am here to say you don’t have to be. I am on my way out of debt and when God see that you are utilizing your gifts or talents to help increase or be of service to others, he always makes provision for you. Don’t be afraid to take your knowledge and talents to the next level. It could just be your answer to a long awaited prayer that needs answering and you will be another person breaking the cycle of the systematic way of living.
