Mercy that's Available to Us
By Marion L. Jones
Even though we have handicaps, we use it for excuses not to do God's will.
Excuses like I'm tired, I have to work or just went out the night before.
Just can't keep still.
We cripple ourselves mentally; talk our self right out going to church on Sunday.
But up bright and early for work on Monday.
Now we have look at folks with disabilities as a curse to them or a sin.
Not having a clue about their life or struggle they’re in.
When one sense is gone one is sharpened.
Do you think that stop them from getting somewhere or the job done?
We got work to do
Mark 10:46-52
There was a blind man named Bartimaeus begging on the side of the road.
Heard that Jesus was in the neighborhood, and wanted relief of his heavy load.
He began to cry out to the Lord," Jesus," Son of David, have mercy on me."
They tried to shut him up, but the louder he got.
"Son of David have mercy on me."
Jesus heard his cry and call on him to come.
They told him to " Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.
The blind man threw aside his garment, rose up and came to Jesus.
Jesus asked "What do you want me to do for you?"
Blind man said “Rabboni I want to receive my sight.
Jesus said, “Go your way, your faith has made you well and followed Jesus.
Jesus is a curse breaker
He's on the way to your job, your home, your bedroom.
Jesus is on His way to break all those strong holds that make you think you are doomed.
When you hear the Name Jesus things happen.
The sweetest name I know, say it over and over again.
Don't ever let anyone stop you from getting your praise on.
If you don't God will use the rocks to cry out, when it's done.
Jesus will not always show up but He'll send someone to you.
It could be me or the person next to you. To give you what you need to hear or do.
