The soul of our Mother EarthLove doesn’t triumph whenstupidity of man contained in his ignorancedoes not respect our Mother Earth.Humanity suffocates, slowly,very slowly, in its total indifference.Our Mother Earth, the great alive soulwarms us on her heart andnourishes us, but we are enveloped by ignorancewe are blind and deaf to her appeal.Maybe, are we waiting for the ill fruits of ourMother Earth poisoning us?Let us not being suffocated by her, we must cureour Mother Earth with devotion, because shenourishes us with love and energy.I feel my spirit tremble,while her great sick soul is suffering anddesperate because her children are ungrateful,they haven’t respect for themselves and not even for her.While she dies slowly and in silentI feel her sorrow, her suffering and her tearsfalling on my anguished heart.Love triumphs only whenwe respect ourselves and our Mother Earth.Life will continue only if we wake up from the sleep ofindifference.I feel her suffering breath, acid rainthat falls on me andconsumes my members, while she implores usto listen to her echo of pain that fliesto our deaf ears and to our mindsaway from heart.

We are all Saints of the Most High God, we never have problems, we never have worries, we Praise our way through all things and everything. When others seem to be going through we know what to do…….we begin praying, praising and in some instances fasting. If there is a function at the church, we, Saints of the Most High God, know what to wear, and more importantly what not to wear. We are experts on “Church Etiquette” we are foremost the most politically correct in the business in which we are in……”Soul Seeking” for the Kingdom.There is never a time that you can catch a Saint of the Most High God down in the dumps, having issues with their Faith, especially those Saints that were called by God according to his purpose. We all know that Faith is the backbone of all Religion, Salvation, and Sanctification…..because we know..”Without Faith it is impossible to please God!!!” So that subject without a doubt is taboo for a Saint to even speak on!!!Well, I stopped by today, not to tell you anything, but to make a comment……I was called into the Ministry a year or so ago, and as all of us know that once God calls you, the attack on your life openly begins. I’ve lost a house full of furniture, lost a handful of once close friends, lost confidence, lost insight, and have even lost FAITH. It’s totally against the grain to say you’re afraid, because someone will serve you notice quick…”God did not give you the spirit of fear, but of a sound mind, that’s just a trick of the enemy….. Yes, it is, but the fact still remains, once you walk away proud of the way you wielded the word of God to some obviously lost sinner, that person…guess what…..Their still scared, you know what else, they will never mention it again, because now the enemy is working overtime whispering in their ear….You can’t be called by God, your are full of fear and that is not Godly. So now they are trapped deeper than they were before they told you. Because they’re already confused, afraid and when they get the courage to tell someone, they get shut down. Sometimes we have to be careful what we say and how we say it. No…I’m not saying not to handle any and all situations with the word of God, but what I am saying is this…..You can’t feed a 3 month old baby table food, you have to feed him/her baby food. Their digestive system can’t yet handle table food. Same thing with babes in Christ….Gotta feed us what’s palatable to our systems. I’ve read the Bible, can follow along real good, but in the realm of dealing one on one with the enemy I still have some issues…..I see things, well I did, but it scared me and for now that eye is closed. I was headed on what I thought was a straight path, messed around and told a few people the things God shared with me, those people were major doubters, spent the better part of a year around people that were VERY, VERY negative….After a while I began doubting, began second guessing…even stopped attending church. Watched it faithfully on T.V., but didn’t go.I have had so many things that I wanted to share with people and always got the same response. Oh I might go through something for a minute, but after that it’s over or gurl…you better pray, fast and wait on the Lord…Yes, oh God a thousand times yes, I know all this, but what happens when you’ve done all that, when you’ve cried out in prayer and you get no answer. What happens when in the midst of all of this the bottom falls slam out….what happens when while you’re on your knees, you are being knocked around by life……what happens when after all this, you lose FAITH??I have gone through this battle alone, and I guess that’s how God wanted it. While going through I am learning to really, totally depend on him and him alone!!We know the God we serve sits high and looks low and while I am quietly going through this battle, I couldn’t understand how people all seem to be doing well. I mean every time I talk to someone, life is all peaches and cream…Don’t get me wrong, not everybody is going through something at this point and time, but if you’ve ever been through anything, you should be able to share that with someone.The lives we as Ministers/Evangelists/Pastors/Preachers and Teachers come in contact with are usually in a seriously frail state, and so that makes it easy to tell who is truly going through something and who isn’t. But the more seasoned Saints/Preachers/Pastors should tap into their discernment when talking to those of us just starting this journey, those of you that are anchored should be the eyes, ears and hearts of those of us who are new and beginning, because we are new and our warfare isn’t as strong as those who have been on the battle field for a long time, I’m sure there is an exception to the rule, and that someone was called by God and hit the floor running. If that’s you….praise God, Hallelujah….I’m speaking to only those who can attest to this. Those who had a fight to get where God was trying to take them and even to those of us who are still fighting.I guess what I’m trying to say is, we are all in this together and the one thing that no other SAINT has said to me is that there would be days, weeks, months and in some cases years that you’d be so lost, that you would STOP, stop praising, I mean just going through the motions, just not putting your heart in it….Lost, I prayed, because I knew the prayer, I sang with the choir, stood when the Pastor/Preacher hit a good point, when the adrenaline was high in church I was in the moment, but I didn’t/couldn’t feel a thing……Oh I know what you’re thinking……she was faking it. But I didn’t want to, didn’t try to, I was lost, confused, begging inwardly for help…praying/prayed that someone, would recognize the symptoms, no one seemed to notice, everyone smiled, called me a blessed woman of God, I was begging, begging without a voice, because I was gripped in fear……Afraid that someone would say……. Did you hear what she just said???? How could she be called by God, and be so full of self doubt, how could she walk beside me in battle and she doubts the God I serve, the God I gave my life to…how could she????Well that’s exactly how???? Because the God you….and I serve, called ME, don’t know how, and certainly not why…but he did and as I go through this I have to remember, HE CALLED ME!!! I didn’t and couldn’t call myself, not my momma nor my daddy, but HE called me, so he knew I’d get to this point, he knew I’d have to deal with this doubt, but in my doubt, my fear, my stopping, even in all of this he’s strengthening me, and my earnest Prayer in all of this, is that he’ll equip me to help those in doubt, in fear, in confusion, at their stopping point, to encourage them to keep holding on. I pray that God would allow me to see, hear and feel there pain, doubt, fears, so that I can stand in the gap for my brothers and sisters as God fills them with his Holy Spirit.I am asking all of you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, to talk to that person(s) that you know has been recently called and even some who may have been called a while ago. Talk to them, share your testimony, pray with them, and pray for them. Lend them your ear, your wisdom, your strength….. No you can’t make them believe, you can’t save them, or fill them with the Holy Spirit, but you can send up your prayers to the Most High God and he……and he……and he shall direct their path, our paths…..Praise God……. The point for this blog, is that there are too many men and women in Christ that slip through the crack, and I thank God for the increase as he laid this on my heart today, because I was slipping… yea you can say they didn’t have FAITH in God, you can say then they weren’t truly called by God…but how do you know? Can you really single out people and say….naw, she wasn’t, naw, he wasn’t……God calls those he has need of, for whatever reason, reasons we will never know. But what could be done is that we band together as Saints of the Most High God and help one another…..LEARN ONE, DO ONE, TEACH ONE seek out that man or woman of God, talk to them, pray with them, teach them, show them that they are not alone and that everybody…..okay almost everybody that was and will be called will go through a time of doubt, fear, questioning..Please Saints, let’s band together in Christ..Just imagine how much stronger the Kingdom would be if we only looked down on another man just to help him up!! Amen!!!

Time is winding down for you to be able to start creating a log for your auto use if you are going to claim it on your tax return. This may be the biggest tax break of them all. Who wouldn't want to get a $5K to $6K tax break. And it is a simple thing to do.The IRS requires that you keep a log for no less than 90 days and you will get the tax deduction for the entire year.For the next 90 days just keep track of you auto use for Biz purposes. These are the 4 things to keep track of:Date / Destination / Primary Purpose / MilesYou can get the 2009 Vehicle Use Log by visiting www.HomeBusinessTaxSavings.com and click on the Free Downloads under the Resourse Center tab.Destination does not have to be exact. For example, you could simply put Joe's Cafe'. You do not need the address of the Cafe'.Primary Purpose is simply why you are going there. Miles are just that. How far away is it. If you went 12 miles, then 12 miles is what you write down.You can get $550 for every 1,000 miles you drive. That is like getting $200 in tax deductions for every tank of gas you buy for you car.So over the past year, if you put 10,000 miles on your car for business use, adn you kept track of it, you qualify for $5,500 in tax deductions.Often there are ways to include errends and shopping miles too.Here is an example how that works. With a little planning this can be of great benefits.Let's say you have to get groceries, pay a few bills but you also have to go to the post office box to get your business mail and the copy shop to print business flyers and fax a proposal.If you do that all that in one trip, all the miles you just racked up become business miles. On your log you put the date, the destination is the furthest business destination, say the Post Office or Copy Store. Primary purpose is what ever you did at the post office or copy shop. Total miles is what you racked up when you pull back into your driveway.The fact that you also did grocery shopping and some other errond is secondary. The Secondary Purpose is not required to be logged. The Federal Tax Courts have given the taxpayer the right to determine what is Primary.If you made two seperate trips, you put all those miles on your car and can only claim about half of your driving. By combining what you do, you get 100% of your miles deducted.Each time you need to go somewhere, think of what business errand you could accomplish while you are gone. Sometimes you will not have any business to take care of but sometimes you will and that could wind up being a significant tax savings for you.Two methods of figuring the Tax deductions for you Vehicle.The standard method - the one above and the Actual Operating Cost method. (AOC)The AOC method requires you to keep records all year long but may give you an even higher deduction. This takes into account the tires you buy, battery you needed to replace, depriciation and repairs of you vehicle.Does this seem to be a lot to keep track of. It doesn't have to be a bother. Here is how you can simplify it for next year.#1 Use a credit card with a zero balance and use this one card for only and all things related to the operation of the vehicle. This also includes car payments for owning or leasing.#2 Write checks for anything you can not put on the card that relates to the vehicle expense. You will need to write down the check number, date, payee, amount and reason for the check on a ledger or some thing you use for your record keeping. Keep a running total.#3 Cash payments. There will always be instances that you need to pay cash such as toll payments. Be sure to jot these down in the ledger also. Keep a running total.At the end of the year, total up your 12 months of credit card statements, the total from you check ledge and the total from your cash ledger. What is a publisher versus a publishing services company?

Let’s clear up a source of a lot of confusion for authors new to the publishing industry: What is a “publisher” versus a “publishing services company”?An author is the one who comes up with the intellectual property in manuscript form. The publisher is the one who adds the money and expertise to leverage the intellectual property into a successful book by providing a great title, cover, interior, setting the price and then cost-effectively printing the book and getting distribution for it into the bookstore market.By this definition, so many of the entities calling themselves “publishers” are instead, “publishing services” or “author services” companies.Here is the bottom line: IF A COMPANY ASKS YOU TO PAY FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF PUBLISHING YOUR BOOK, IT IS NOT A PUBLISHER. Publishers make investments. If the author is both making the investment and bringing in the intellectual property, then that is not a publishing deal. What you are doing is buying publishing services.There is nothing wrong with that if you know what you are paying for and what you are getting. I hear so many people tell me what their “publisher” said, only to find out they aren’t working with a publisher at all.If you are thinking of doing business with a publishing services company, (sometimes called a POD publisher) – a company that calls itself a publisher but charges you a fee up front – make sure they are right for you.You have a right to know what to expect, so you need to have a contract to document the agreement. The services provider should provide you with the contract and you would expect to see provisions regarding who does what, what the flow of money is, in and out, termination provisions, and what liability each party is assuming.But beyond the standard, there are some provisions that are especially important in publishing services contracts. We’ve developed a eight-point checklist of these essential points. If they can say “yes” to each of these, then you’ve found a great company to work with. If there are any “no” answers, please think twice!1. Author retains all intellectual property rights – if you have to pay up front, there is absolutely no reason you should be selling your rights to your intellectual property in the bargain. You are licensing your rights to print, perhaps exclusively, for only a designated period of time.2. Author benefits from book profits (isn’t just paid royalties or a commission) – again, if you have to pay the full cost of producing the book up front, the publishing services firm might get a percentage of what you sell, but you should retain the lion’s share. If they only want a percentage from the books they are able to sell, that would be a reasonable exchange. If they are able to generate bookstore orders (unlikely, but not impossible), then they should take a percentage from those sales. Otherwise, the profits from the book sales, minus the costs to print, should be yours.3. Author has the right to terminate the publishing services contract, preferably in 30 days, but no more than 60 days - if you get a great offer from an established commercial publisher, you will be kicking yourself if you can’t take it because you are stuck with a bad contract you can’t get out of.4. Timeline the author can live with - many publishing services companies do not specify how quickly they will publish your book. There is no reason they cannot create the cover and interior and have the book printed within 90 days of when they receive the manuscript. Anything much outside of that time frame is unacceptable and you should only sign a contract that gives you a full refund if they do not have books in your hands within 90 days, unless you specifically agree otherwise for some reason.5. Professional quality cover, interior and printing – I have seen way too many books with completely unprofessional covers and a book binding that is falling apart. A professionally-designed cover is easy to spot a mile away and if you aren’t sure of what you are getting, call in a professional to take a look for you. Many of the publishing services firms outsource their printing to LightningSource.com (just another reason for you to go direct), but if they do, at least you can be sure that the quality of the printing and binding will be good.6. Author is given cover and interior design files if contract is terminated - if you have had to pay to have your book cover designed and the interior typeset, then you want the right to get the design files back (not just a PDF) if you terminate the contract. Most POD publishers do not allow this as a way to keep you tied to them.7. Reasonable prices for books – if part of your contract is for the publishing services firm to print your books on-demand, then you want no more than a 25% mark-up to cover their administrative costs than if you took your book to your own printer. The on-demand printer you would be smart to use is LightningSource.com (for more reasons than I can detail here). The formula Lightning Source uses to determine the price of printing a book is $.90 x .015 x the number of pages in the book. So for instance, if your book were 183 page, the price per book would be 183 x $.015 = $2.75 + $.90, which equals $3.65 per book. Again, using this example, if the price quoted to you by the POD publisher were more than $4.56 per book, you are paying too much.Too many publishing services companies charge a percentage of retail for you to buy your own book; for instance, 50% of a $20 book, or $10 a book. This is how established commercial publishers work, but they do it because you haven’t paid for publishing up front – that is a whole different story. Don’t ever sign a contract that requires you buy a minimum number of books. Regardless of what the POD publisher tells you, they are printing on demand, which means they don’t have to buy a certain quantity from their printer, so you should not have to either.8. Reasonable prices for other services – many of the publishing services companies want you to buy marketing or other services and they will offer you a menu that you feel like you need to be successful. Much better to interview qualified professionals and choose your own after talking to other authors and others in the industry. Don’t sign a contract that requires you to buy any additional services.The bottom line is this: You can easily self publish without a POD publisher, but if you decide you want someone to handle all the details, be sure you get what you are paying for. There are hundreds, if not thousands of POD publishers so you have plenty to choose from.
