Twitter is viewed by some as a waste of time and less than a key player in the marketing efforts of many businesses. That is far from the truth and Robin Tramble is out to provide proof via her WWV Ultimate Twitter Challenge.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 23, 2012 -

"I see so many women wanting to learn more about how they can tap into the Social Media phenomena, however, they are presented with the task of balancing their current roles with that of adding yet another item to the list. If I can convince them of the value of Social Media Marketing to their business the investment of time associated with empowering themselves with this skill would be the last thing allowed to hinder their endeavors." says Robin Tramble

Social Media is all the rage and is replacing many of the Marketing strategies in companies. Social Media has changed the way we do business, connect with friends, clients, prospects etc. and it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere too soon. Social media sites give people the opportunity to connect with old friends, make new ones and expand their professional network with only a few clicks, from the comfort of their own home. Social Media includes Twitter,Facebook,Linkedin,Myspace  google+, pinterest and more.

Imagine being able to Finally attract 1000's of lucrative relationships online and Quickly EXPLODE your business results using Social Media without wasting time or money so you can increase your bottom line!

So what else could be holding women back from stepping up to empower themselves and thereby empower their business results?

"Some of the problem may stem from fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure and more! They must somehow replace that fear with vision for their ideal lifestyle, ideal business and the feeling that would result from finally attracting their ideal clients. Change your focus. Instead of focusing on the negatives, focus on the positives, focus on Faith." Says Robin

“You block your dream when you allow your fear to grow bigger than your faith.”
Mary Manin Morrissey

The Cost of Putting It Off Part 2

10744078287?profile=original

So what did you see when you took that long look at your work and home life?  Are you spending the majority of your time working or putting off the things that need to get done?  If you’re working, what exactly are you working on and are those things relevant to your overall goals?  If things aren’t getting done, it’s time to look at your behavior to tell what’s really going on.  Start by keeping a time log and enter everything that you do on a daily basis.  At the end of each day look back to see how much time you actually spent on work and how much of it was spent on distractions.

If you’re spending time on distractions, what’s distracting you?  It might be something else that needs to get done.  If this is the case, look at the priorities and schedule appropriate time to get it done, commit to it and get it off your to-do list.

As I said before, the big question is, what is procrastination really costing you?  Looking at your time log, make note of the amount of time that you spent on distractions.  Multiply that amount of time by your hourly rate.  The result is just the cost for that amount of time.  Multiply that by the additional time that you’ve spent on distractions or on procrastinating and you’ll see what it’s really costing you.  Procrastination will not only cost you precious time, it will cost you monetarily.  You could be paying a pretty big cost for putting things off.

The only way to remedy procrastination is to start by taking an in depth look at your behavior to see what you're doing to be able to determine why you do it.  The "why" is the key to stopping your procrastination. If procrastination is a big problem for you, I encourage you to check out my 12-week procrastination program, Procrastination AnnihilationClick here for details.

I came across a post this evening written by Sharisa Robertson, it has great value and a true purpose, a reminder about how each one does make the world go round.

From Me To You: If YOU don't step into your position and fulfill your purpose then I cannot fulfill mines. We think it only hinders ourselves when we don't make that dream, that vision a reality but that is far from the truth.

You hinder yourself, your bloodline, your relationships, your blessings, and those that were assigned to you that your purpose was designed to assist, to help, to empower, to console, to entertain, to teach, etc. Still don’t know exactly how to move forward, still operating in fear? Please know that the same way there is someone waiting on you to guide their path, there is someone waiting on you to ask them for their help in guiding your path.

Yep, God took care of it already. Just because your dream/vision/purpose is especially and specifically designed for you, it doesn’t mean you are supposed to do it all by yourself. Someone is out there right now, heaven sent, equipped with the solution to your need. As Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you"

So please step in to your rightful position, so that I can continue to step into mind and to help the next step into theirs. This is what makes the world goes round.

The Cost of Putting It Off Part 1

10744078287?profile=originalSeriously, we all procrastinate at some point in time on something and we’re all familiar with this scenario:  You put off doing something and probably have absolutely no idea of how long it takes to do the task you’re putting off.  You can end up living in chaos simply because you’re putting off something that will take you just a short time to do.  Are you one of those people who shuffle through papers?  If so, you probably spend more time shuffling through them each day than it would take for you to sort through them one final time and toss, file or process what’s there in the pile.

Research shows that people spend most of their time and effort working on activities that have nothing to do with the success of their projects.  Procrastination is the biggest reason people fail to reach their goals. It is the #1 cause of stress.  Research also shows us that stress is caused by leaving too many things undone, which is why some habitual procrastinators always complain about chronic fatigue.  Putting things off creates enormous stress in our lives, which manifests as fatigue.

Right now, take a long look at your home and work life.  Where are you spending the majority of your time?  Are you working on things that are relevant to the big picture, or are you procrastinating and spending more time on distractions.  If you’re spending time on distractions, what is it that’s distracting you and why and, the big question is, what is it really costing you?  What’s the bottom line cost of putting it off?  I'm not posing the question just to have you ponder it.  Go do the math!  If you're a coach, multiply your hourly rate by the amount of time you waste putting things off.  If you provide other services, multiply your hourly rate by that amount of time.  What's the cost of putting it off?

When I went to print something out yesterday, I got alerted that my ink cartridges were running low. So I check to see if I had any and found only one black cartridge left. It actually been over a year (maybe two) since I last purchase ink for my HP all-in-one printer. I love my printer and the best investment I made, besides buying it was switching over from regular size ink cartridges to the XL ones. Yes, the XL ones are more expensive but it last way longer (even longer if you rarely print). Since I almost out of both black & color, with just on black ink on hand, I thinking about whether or not I should go an purchase more. I truthfully want to make my business greener and more mobile.

I would love to go away either to visit my Best Friend and Goddaughter, other family or take a vacation with out worrying about work. It’s easier said than done when you are self-employed. I’m my business and when I need to take time off I don’t have other coworkers to handle things in my absent. Yes, I can do a working vacation, which I have done before but I always find myself wanting to take so much stuff, you know just in case I need it.

I don’t want to be like that anymore. Plus with all of the fees airlines are adding on and the lack of affordable (or better yet undesirable) other choices of travel, I must find ways to eliminated unnecessary baggage.

Read on to see how I plan on going green.

April is a very meaningful month for me. The Easter season occurs in April and provides Christians with renewed faith. I was born in April, as was my father and his mother, both of whom have passed away. My mother died in April. So, April is also a month of loss. As I glance out the window, admiring the bright, sunny sky, green grass, and trees swaying on this windy day, this feeling of loss becomes stronger. I’m contemplating the Rwandan genocide, and those 100 days of murder, which started in April of 1994.

Today, the international community is asked to remember that nightmarish episode in human history. On April 7, 1994, a mass murder had started in a small country in Africa, named Rwanda. It's a country slightly smaller than the state of Maryland. In this small Africa nation, which shares a border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and Tanzania, something unimaginably evil was happening. One segment of the Rwandan population, which was the majority, was in the process of brutally murdering the minority portion of the population. When these one hundred days of terror, rape, and murder had ended, it is estimated that 800,000 men, women, and children had been murdered. When we read this in the newspapers, we were shocked and horrified. We had many questions. The main question was why? Why did this happen? What were the root causes of this tragedy?

It's so important for people to know about this atrocity, so that steps can be taken to ensure this does not happen again in Rwanda or anywhere also. This is because it can happen somewhere else. That's the horror, a horror that most people do not want to give a second of thought to. The Rwanda genocide, as we know, was not the first genocide, or massacre. There have been numerous massacres and genocides throughout human history, from ancient times to modern times. For example, there was the Holocaust which took place during World War II, in which six million people were systematically killed. There was also a massacre that took place in Nanking, China, also during that World War II period. A religion-based massacre, St. Bartholomew's Day massacre, took place four centuries ago in France. Massacres have occurred all over the world.

What I find completely unnerving is that the Rwandan genocide was one in which civilians largely participated in actively. People were persuaded to turn against each other because of perceived ethnic differences, even people who knew each other, neighbors and other community, familiar faces. The victims of these, and all other, human tragedies, should not be forgotten, nor should those who risked their lives to save them in the midst of the bloodshed. Let’s not forget the heroes, who bravely refused to be a part of the madness. Those who followed their faith, in spite of the danger faced. To find ways to prevent these evil occurrences from repeating themselves would greatly benefit all of humanity.

Let’s Talk About “Sexting”

As a parent, you have probably already had the “sex talk” with your teenage son or daughter, but have you had the “sexting” talk? ‘Sexting’ is the practice of sending sexually explicit messages or images electronically, primarily via mobile phone. These messages and images can spread like wildfire through schools or even across the country and can even get posted on public websites—turning what may have seemed like a harmless act into one with severe consequences.

If you don’t think this is a problem with teens, think again. According to CommonSenseMedia.org, 22% of teen girls and 20% of teen boys have sent nude or semi-nude photos of themselves and 38% of all teens believe that exchanging such sexy content makes dating or hooking up with others more likely. Wow, those are sobering statistics.

As a security expert, I want to help parents deal with this growing problem and keep their children (and themselves) out of harm’s way. Here are some tips from my new ebook, Safe Text: Protecting Your Teens from the Dangers of Texting:

• Give your teen clear rules on what they can and can’t do with their mobile phone.
• Learn how to use and monitor your teen’s mobile phones.

• Talk about pressures to send revealing photos. Let teens know that you understand that they can be pushed or dared into sending something. Tell them that no matter how big the social pressure is, the potential social humiliation will be hundreds of times worse.

• Remind them that once an image is sent, it can never be retrieved – and they will lose control of it.

• The buck stops with them. If someone sends them a photo, have them delete it immediately

My favorite color is red, so you know I just about fell out of my seat when I got a look at the new Swatch Chrono Red collection. While I'm not a jewelry fanatic, I must have a few essentials - hoop earrings that pop, big attention getter rings and of course a stylish watch to match!

Beyond telling you I love the look of these new watches, I'm not so great with all the specifics (lol), so I thought I would share a few details from the website:

Swiss watch and jewellery maker Swatch unveils two new watches in its signature collection of Swiss made precision Irony chronographs. The Chrono Collection presents a pair of Irony Chronos featuring the popular model's classic good looks and timeless style.

Polished stainless steel gives the polished 40mm case, brushed bezel and brushed bracelet a distinguished and self-assured look and feel, while sun-brushed black or red dials present a fashion-wise contrast, with the tone-on-tone counters adding just the right touch of cool, understated elegance to the design. Smart, poised and stylish-the Chrono Collection says it all.

For my fellow moms out there trying to stay in style, do take a look at this new collection and let me know what you think.

bigstock-Its-Raining-Money-7156297-300x200.jpg?width=300Aren't you always hearing "I wish I could attract more money into my life?" I think I've said it myself a few times...I've heard it a lot of times. Especially with that mega millions lottery in the U.S. a few short months ago! And we all heard a few stories coming out of that one, didn't we?

I've checked around and couldn't find anyone who answered 'no' to this question. The reason is - like it or not - much of what determines how much enjoyment we get out of our business or even life depends on the amount of money we have. Sure there are people out there who will tell you they don't want to be rich and that money is the root of all evil blah, blah but these are really misguided beliefs about money that have developed over time. (By the way, the scripture actually says "the LOVE of money is the root...", but we won't get into semantics for this article. Check it out.)

But seriously, who wouldn't want to be able to afford the things they want and need? You already have the ability; you just have so much poverty thinking and baggage in the way, you can't make room for prosperity in your life.

Much of what I share about branding and putting automation systems in place has to do with money - either making more of it or saving it. If you are in business, you need money to keep the business going; otherwise, it's a H-O-B-B-Y, or something else.

It's important to put aside any negative limiting beliefs others have dumped on you about money (did you cringe just now because you read that word again? if so, that's a sign of those ill-gotten beliefs kicking in).

If you are one of the few who had parents with a positive money mindset, consider yourself blessed. But if you are in the majority of people who had parents who believed in hard work, education and the idea that anyone who made money easily was simply lucky, lazy or immoral, then keep reading because you need this.

Money is, of itself, not bad and the amount of it you have is in essence a result of a few key beliefs some people engage in very well. (Trust me, it's taken me quite awhile to get this. I wasn't the fastest cookie in the jar on this at first, especially when I was newer to business).

Let me share just a few brief principles here...
Develop A Wealth Mindset

If your head is full of the conviction that rich people are greedy or power-hungry or must have done something illegal in order to gather the riches that they have, then you don’t have a wealth mindset. And if you don’t have a wealth mindset, then no amount of hard work you do will make up for your lack of money. Just like the poor dad in Robert Kiyosaki's 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad, you will ALWAYS be struggling.

Here's something about rich people that you may not know. Rich people are people who have a strong conviction that there is nothing wrong with being rich and that they deserve it. Not only that, people with a true wealth mindset actually believe that money can be a source for good. It supports families and provides them with food, clothing and shelter. It launches successful businesses that in turn support and replenish communities.
Change Your Motivation

Money can help us get whatever we want. However, there are lots and lots of motivations for being wealthy, some of them good, some of them not so much.

There are people who believe the world is full of abundance and money is instrumental in that cycle of abundance. So it is natural that they think being wealthy is a worthwhile goal. They see it as being within their reach. And for these people, it generally is easier to achieve, because their belief system is in complete alignment and harmony with their sub-conscious mind, which always wants to push us towards well-being. Isn't that cool how God did that? ... creating us to be well? do well? It's our own choices and actions that often take us down a different path.

Something I learned studying NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) for a year with a master practitioner was "mind and body are part of the same system and affect each other", so what you have been programmed to believe shows up in the way you act and make choices. But...you can change these beliefs. It's a choice you have to make though. Choose to live the way you are now, or prayerfully choose to change direction.

Unfortunately, having a positive mindset about wealth is not something adopted the majority of people. Most people go through life with a 'poverty mindset' and keep striving and striving to meet their immediate needs for fear that they will somehow not have enough.' So they do things like lowering their prices, sounding weak in their offers, giving away services they worked long & hard to invest in building.

Does this sound like anyone you know?

Well, to sum it up; if you desire wealth because you believe it's your ticket to achieving good things for yourself and for others, then it will be much easier for you to become wealthy. Your desire to free yourself from the slavery of having a day job, or working your business 24/7 so you can really live and spend more time with your family and be involved in your community is certainly a worthwhile goal. And you should remind yourself every day how worthwhile this goal is.

Sometimes a little structure and a plan can help...Saturday, 5/19/12 I'm holding a half-day virtual bootcamp called Reclaim My Money Power. If you are an entrepreneur sick of making weak offers, want step-by-step strategies to transform your mentality and you really want to design a wealth legacy for yourself and your family, come join me. You can find out more here:http://reclaimmymoneypower.com. No pressure - I really put this together for all my friends who have been asking. Consider and if it's right for you, I'll see you there.

There are many ways to get followers on Twitter. There are

authentic ways and there are gimmicky ways. You want to make sure that you don’t
do the latter if you want to have any level of  sustained success using Twitter effectively.

So what is one quick and easy way to attract more Twitter
followers?

Retweeting. Yes you read it right. Retweeting.

With this method, you take the original twitter message
someone else has posted, and rebroadcast that same message to your followers. When broadcasting the message, you should
definitely give credit to the original poster.  I know at first it may sound like this will only be good for the original tweeter, but
retweeting can actually benefit you just as much if not more because;

1.  It provides added value to your followers.

And you do want to provide added value correct? This will
definitely increase the know, like and trust factor. You are also more likely to attract followers. Providing quality content is always a great way to build your business no
matter what platform you use.

2. It will enhance your brand.

If you point a reader to a source of good information that is truly relevant and beneficial to them, the amount of trust that they have in you will increase.

3. You build relationships with the original tweeter.

Of course you shouldn’t retweet simply because you want
someone to retweet yours, however, giving will enhance your chances of
receiving reciprocation.

It’s all about providing value to your followers so don’t just retweet any and everything.

The bottom line is retweeting is a great way to add quality
and value to your Twitter page. If done right, retweeting can help
you educate your followers, build your personal brand, increase
future traffic, and connect you to other great people in your
niche.

On the flip side you want to be careful that you don’t use
this incorrectly, retweeting can actually hurt your personal brand and future
traffic. Keep your focus on treating your followers like gold. Don’t ever send
them to inappropriate websites or spam them with one sales pitch after another. I
share more about the proper ratio in my WWV Ultimate Twitter Challenge.

Always keep in mind that you want them to trust what you
have to say and the way you do this is to tweet added value content. Content
that will support them in finding solutions for their problems. You want to
stay top of mind as the go to person for what they’re looking for when they
need it and want it. Do this and you will increase your chances of getting the
results you desire.

How will you use this information? Learning is good, however, application is key.

I invite you to join other savvy business owners and aspiring as they turn their Twitter Frustration into World Wide visibility and explode their business success online! Take the Challenge. I will help you set the foundation to extend your reach 1000s and explode your business success online without the stress. Go to the WWV Ultimate Twitter Challenge enrollment page here.
