Stop The Violence - Changing The Mindset Of Humanity
On 09-09-2012 ministers from around the country and all around around the world will change the mindset of humanity with the most important sermon of their careers as they preach the word "Stop The Violence" taken from the lyrics of the International Stop the Violence theme song and sharing with their congregation from the theological point of view as well as relating stories from the Bible. The spirit of GOD will fill churches worldwide like never before and when the people go back to into their communities and spread the message about "Stop The Violence" the spirit of non-violence will move through society and change the lives of millions of people. I want all ministers to video their sermon and mail it to KCPI T.V. 524 Brice Street, Baton, Rouge, Louisiana 70802 where they will be aired from September 9th through October 9th leading up to the National Crime Symposium which will be held at the New Orleans Marriot Hotel. So join us in this life changing experience. Also go to You Tube type in Chili Most Fight For Your Rights or click on to the link below and check out the video. Its seem like it was ages ago when I created my first web page. Now today I am making a career of something that I love to do. Something that was just a hobby, never did it cross my mind that there’s a person(s) behind the scenes writing code that turns into my favorite website or those cool billboards that you see everywhere. All I knew was that I wanted to created websites but as the time pass my skills needed to grow as well. So I learned how to do other things.

A few weeks ago someone on my twitter timeline stated that WordPress is the worst platform to build you website on because its not flexible. Of course I gave that tweet a side eye because I knew otherwise. WordPress is very flexible, if you take the time to learn and adapt. Speaking of adapting, this something I am learning how to in my business as well as personal life. About year and half ago when I was thinking about how I could expand my services beyond just doing websites (because not everyone wants or think they should have one) I decided that I should break down the parts of a site and make those individual elements a services of their own.

Central State University

Wilberforce, Ohio

Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, is one of the nation's oldest historically black universities, with a 120-year legacy of academic and athletic achievements. The College of Education, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Business and Industry, which includes the Departments of Manufacturing Engineering and Water Resources Management, form the core of the University’s varied academic offerings.

The CSU Institute for Urban Education (IUE) builds on Central State’s roots as a center of excellence for teacher education. It also reflects the College of Education’s emphasis on preparing teachers for work in today’s urban classrooms. Housed in the newly constructed Center for Education and Natural Sciences, the IUE serves as a national resource center for the training of urban teachers and the exchange of scholarship on urban education issues. A newly developed program in environmental engineering builds on CSU’s signature Water Resources Management Program, and a new major in criminal justice will further expand career opportunities for Central State University students.

A centrally located branch campus in Dayton, Ohio, CSU-Dayton, offers a range of courses and class schedules that serve the needs of nontraditional learners wishing to complete their undergraduate degrees, pursue master’s degrees in education, or take advantage of professional development opportunities.

Central State is home to the nationally renowned Central State University Chorus, which has twice been nominated for a Grammy. The Lady Marauders basketball team is perennially in the national rankings and has traveled to 12 straight NAIA national tournaments. The track and field team as well as the cheerleading and dance troupes have also won championships and awards, and the Central State marching band, the Invincible Marching Marauders, have twice performed at the national Honda Battle of the Bands and been featured in the 2006 film Dave Chappelle’s Block Party. With the return of football to Central State in 2005, the Mighty Marauders are reviving a legacy that produced several national championships. Central State’s impending move to NCAA Division II will widen the University’s competitive field and provide more exposure for Central State University’s student athletes.

CSU is Ohio’s only predominately African American public institution of higher education, but it is, and has always been, “open to all persons of good moral character,” as ordained by the 1887 legislation that created Central State's predecessor. The University actively promotes diversity in its student body, faculty and staff, even as the institution adheres to its core historical responsibility to educate young African American men and women.

We’ve all probably gone through this feeling at one time or another – amidst all the hustle and bustle of a seemingly great life, you still feel like something is missing. There’s that little part of you that feels restless, even while everything else seems to be in place. Your mate and the kids “seem happy” with the job you are doing, home affairs appear to be running smoothly, and your career may even be at its peak. Yet something still just doesn’t feel right, and you can’t quite figure out what that is.

You may be feeling this way because you have given blood, sweat and rivers of tears for the people you love but not for the person you should be loving the most – yourself! This does not mean that you should only be thinking about yourself from now on. However, you, as the beautiful soul that you are, personally need undivided attention – you need to feed your body, soul and spirit because together they comprise the only YOU there is!

Most women find it difficult to focus on themselves and their needs due to societal conditioning. They constantly worry too much about things falling apart if they let go of feeling responsible for everyone else. But think of how things will go completley haywire if you run your energy into the ground by attending to the needs of others and not your own. Pretty soon your body and spirit will have to step in and create “me time” for you. This could mean that you will fall ill, begin to forget the important things or just feel plain’ole worn out.

When deciding to make the most important decision and the extremely valuable move to commit to your own personal needs and wants; you must be ready to release the “small ideas” you have had about your life. This is not about measuring up with some parameters for comparison – your happiness is not about keeping up with the Jones’; it’s about attaining daily habits and routines that allow your spirit to sing…everyday. Life is not an uncharted race of trying to beat out somebody else; it’s about being happy with where you are in your life at any given moment.

You are a unique individual with needs that are different from everyone else. When you begin to focus on these, you will be amazed at how much better you will feel and how all of your relationships will improve. Attending to our own personal needs and wants helps us identify where we have been standing in our own way and allows us to grow into the spirits that we have always wanted to be. Once you set out on the course to “radical transformation,” you may not like what you find immediately, but the journey of identifying your truth then living your life from it will be the greatest reward.

Be aware that you will definitely feel “uncomfortable” in the beginning. Beginning to take time out for you when you are use to doing things for everyone else can make you feel so guilty. And if you grew up in the church…you will struggle with the falacy of “by doing things for yourself, you are not being a good Christian”…NONSENSE!!!

Once I started to peel back the layers of my personality, removing the shackles of society, and discovered that I was not perfect…it was damn near devastating. I had such a hard time shifting my focus to me when all my life I had seemed to focus on everything and everyone else. But it has to be done, the choices and decisions you will begin to make will determine the roadmap ahead. Like me, I feel that once you really begin tothink about it, you will want to take on a path that will lead you to a greater sense of self-awareness, connection/reconnection you’re your truth and the courage to live your life according to what “feels good” to you. Take a look below at these “radically transformative tips” that will help you focus on yourself so you can begin to enjoy your life:

1. Devote exclusive time for yourself each day. Set a definite hour for yourself alone and bask in an activity that you absolutely love. It can be time in the tub, a walk in the park, a manicure at the salon, sitting on your patio sipping coffee and doing nothing else – whatever it is that pleases you. Do something strictly for pleasure and not to move you further along in your career or in your relationships. This time is strictly for you. Learn to play…hell, by a set of jacks or a tonka truck and get busy. You could also use this time to reflect in your journal, dream the biggest dream you can imagine, and write down all of the things you will do and have once your dream is realized.

2. Give value to your overall needs, and be in-charge of them – the physical, spiritual, mental and emotional. Don’t make the mistake of thinking these needs are dependent on someone else or that you can only have satisfaction and happiness when somebody else does something to you or for you. You have the power within yourself to attain these needs and that is the only way you will become a whole person. Want to strengthen your relationship with self and show up to a dating situation whole…then (excuse my slang) but…get-chu some bidnez! Making the other person 100% responsible for your happiness is not attractive nor is it healthy.

3. Feed your mind, body and spirit with good and healthy things. Find positive energy to stimulate you, positive thoughts to motivate you and positive people to be around. Feed your body well – eat healthy, taking in lots of fruits and vegetables and get plenty of water. Do like I do, since I don’t like to eat them, I blend them and drink them all together. Feed your mind with informative material. Read lots of motivational books, listen to audiobooks and attend pleasurable events. I’m not one to read the newspaper or watch the news. How do I stay up on current events you ask? Trust me, there are tons of others who enjoy feeding their mind and spirit with the negativity of the world…if I want to know, I’m sure they will be willing to share. If you can’t detach from the news completely, at least limit the amount of time spent watching, listening or reading the news.

4. Limit your time on the TV – if you need to, watch the “feel good” programs that let you laugh about life and stimulate your spirit. Listen to soothing music. Music has that magical ability to relax or stimulate your mind, depending on what you need at that particular moment.

5. Spend time doing something you love. If you are able to do it daily, do so. It can be a hobby like people watching (oh wait…that’s one of mine…giggle) gardening or a creative pastime like painting, pottery or craftworks. Whenever your creative outbursts are at their peak, translate that into action; whatever that means to you. It’s always nice to be doing something beautiful.

6. Create your own gratitude journal. Did you know that a lot of bestselling motivational books started from the authors’ personal gratitude journal? You can begin to write down even just five things you’re grateful for each day. Pretty soon, you’ll see your list growing and you’ll begin to notice how good it is to focus on the positive things in this world. I bet you’ll be writing longer reflections and short stoties in no time because you’ll be writing about the good things rather than dwelling on the occasional obstacles of life.

There really is no better way to take good care of yourself than focusing on your needs and wants. Feeding yourself constantly allows you meet the challenge of each new day with a positive attitude and a happy heart – fully content with where you are at each present moment. And when you are ready to kick it up a notch and “Radically Transform” your life…you know where to find me. You can reach out to me directly or radically transform in the comfort of your own home. The choice of HOW you do it is yours…all I ask it that you step up to the plate and “MAKE IT HAPPEN!”

When should you give your kids a credit card? Should you wait until they're 18 and off to college? Or is younger better? This can be an explosive topic for parents, many of whom have very strong ideas about what's best for their teens when it comes to credit. A new ABC News poll found that 71 percent of parents are opposed to giving kids a credit card before the age of 18, even one that has a restricted balance and is linked to a parent's account."GMA" assembled a roundtable of moms and dads with children between 8 and 17, who were passionately divided about the topic. Some said children need to have access to credit to learn how to use it safely, while others were adamantly opposed to the idea. Most parents agree that kids should learn to save and budget and should earn their own money. But when adults are struggling with their own credit along with the increasing and complex material needs of children, it can be difficult to decide when to help them get plastic. What's the Appropriate Age? Mellody Hobson disagrees with the majority in the ABC News poll, and advises getting your child a credit card linked to your account at 16. She thinks 18 is too late because, at that point, you no longer have total control over your child's spending and credit habits. Parents should look at 16 as a milestone age, she says. We already equate turning 16 with getting a driver's license, 18 with the right to vote and 21 with the right to drink. Make 16 the age you start teaching your child about financial independence and responsibility. Benefits of Giving Your Teen a Card-You Can Monitor and Control Activity A credit card can give you some control over your child's spending and credit management skills, especially before they go off to college, Hobson says. You can discuss with them the proper way to use credit before they get a card of their own, kind of like credit with training wheels. You get to see all of your child's transactions in your monthly statement if they are an authorized user on your card, and you will be able to better recognize any impending issues and problems they might develop in the future. MY VIEWS: View the video and tell me what you think? Personally this has made me recognize that I can handle finances with my sixteen year old son differently. I’ve been holding a credit/debit card for him and when he gets paid, I would take a few dollars from him and match it and put it on his debit card for when he started college, but now I see that I need to give him the card so that he can learn how to handle his credit himself. Even though I still feel a child shouldn’t get a credit card until he has a job, this is a good eye opener. What’s your opinion? Kids Won't Have to Carry a Lot of Cash There's one other really big advantage to giving your 16-year-old a credit card, Hobson says. By giving your child a card, you're making sure they will not be carrying a ton of cash which can be very unsafe for them.

Using Squidoo To Promote Your Website

Subscribe to Squidoo : Lenses by Desiree_Richardson by Email

A lens maker can create numerous lenses on a subject, focusing attention on a different aspect of the subject with each lens. On the other had, a lens maker can make numerous lenses that cover many different topics, reflecting the lens makers' different interests and expertise. Internet MarketingOne of the many good uses for Squidoo lenses is to use the lens as part of an overall internet marketing strategy. One or more good lenses can help to bring attention, traffic, and credibility to a product or business by providing valuable information and resources. Additionally, the lens can help to establish the author as an expert in their field and a person whose advice should be taken seriously. The single page websites that Squidoo allows an author to create are called lenses because the finished website focuses on a single subject or idea. This focused attention on a subject is very attractive to users of the internet who are constantly searching for answers to questions or problems. The internet search engines whose job it is to find good, focused websites that will answer the questions or problems are attracted to the lenses. Therefore, the use of Squidoo lenses has become a valuable internet resource for building and marketing a business.Traffic. I started out with Squidoo simply to promote my various internet ventures -- web sites, blogs and ezines. Due to the way Squidoo is organized it makes a great system to capture and redirect traffic. Traffic arrives both from search engines and internally generated traffic. I have found this to be a great traffic generation tool. I have some profitable web sites that I do nothing else to promote except through Squidoo.Money. While I started out simply to drive traffic to my other money-making enterprises I soon realized there is a number of ways to benefit financially from Squidoo. I can earn income directly from Squidoo based on the internal rank of my Squidoo page as well as from a variety of internal and external affiliate programs. Squidoo has several different affiliate programs programmed in and you are welcome to add as many other income sources to your lens as you want. I earn income every month from Squidoo and I have not even begun to fully capitalize on all my options.Addiction. I fully admit that I am a Squidoo addict. I check in several times a day on the various lenses (the Squidoo term for a web page) and groups I maintain, I eye my dashboard stats, I haunt the Squidoo forum, and I'm constantly creating new lenses. I don't think there is a 12-step program for Squidoo addiction yet but there might need to be. I am constantly tweaking, fixing, adding, and altering my existing lenses as well as creating new lenses. Do I have a problem?Friends. Squidoo is a friendly place. While there are certainly people here ready and eager to make a buck they don't seem to dominate this network as much as some of the others. Perhaps it is because Squidoo makes it so easy to donate all or a portion of your proceeds to a charity of your choice -- and so many Squidoo lens creators are dedicated to supporting a huge range of charities -- that makes Squidoo people a nicer group as a whole. Yes, there are people like myself using Squidoo to support or promote a business, but it is not all about money. It is about people and ideas and community. That is what keeps me coming back day after day. I find myself not just checking up on my projects but the projects of various people that interest me -- and Squidoo makes it super easy to do just that!

15 Reasons to Become an Affiliate Marketer- by Rosalind Gardner© 2004 Rosalind Gardner - All Rights reserved-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-There are HUGE benefits to promoting affiliate programswith your own home-based Internet business, and I've comeup with a list of 15 great reasons to become an affiliatemarketer.Let's look at each reason separately:1. No Production Costs - The cost to develop and produce anew product is prohibitive for almost anyone who wants tostart a home-based business. With affiliate programs, production costs aren't an issue. The product has beendeveloped and proven - all on the merchant's nickel.2. Low Cost Set-up - Compared with building a brick andmortar store, starting a home-based Internet business isrelatively cheap. You probably already have a desk,Internet-connected computer and word-processing software, which is all the equipment you may need.3. No Fees for Joining or Licenses to Buy - I oftencompare doing business as an affiliate, with distributing aline of products in the real world. The biggest differenceis that the distributor must often pay for a license todistribute products within a limited geographic region.Affiliate programs, on the other hand, are usually free tojoin, and geographic market reach is limited only by theaffiliate's ability to promote his web site.4. Choose From Thousands of Products and Services - Whatisn't sold online? That list must be shorter than the onedescribing all that IS sold online. There are thousands andthousands of affiliate programs selling every product underthe sun. That makes it easy to find products related toyour current or planned web site.5. No Sales Experience Needed - When I started my affiliatebusiness, I had absolutely no sales experience. That wasn'ta problem, however. The companies I affiliated withprovided excellent marketing material. Using their salescopy, I was able to get my first affiliate site up in lessthan a day.6. No Employees - The largest expense of most businesses isemployee salaries. Although there might be times when youneed or want someone to work for you as an affiliate, it'sdoubtful you'll ever have to worry about hiring full orpart-time employees. When you have a project you want tohire out, it is easy to find specialists in every computer-related field who can work for you from the comfort ofTHEIR own homes. You pay only for the project, and neverhave to worry about ongoing employee-related benefits anddeductions.7. No Expensive Merchant Accounts Needed - Setting up amerchant account for any business is a time-consuming andcostly business. It's even more tedious for Internetbusinesses. However, merchant accounts aren't a concernwhen you're an affiliate. The merchant bears that cost andhandles all processing of payments. You never have to losesleep over potential chargebacks, fraud or losing yourmerchant account when you're an affiliate.8. No Inventory to Carry - Even if you live in a small one-bedroom apartment, as an affiliate you can sell large itemswithout storage concerns.9. No Order-Processing - Forget the problems associatedwith collecting and storing names, addresses, credit cardnumbers, etc. The merchant does all that!10. No Product Shipping - The cost and hassle to prepareand ship products to customers worldwide could bestaggering. Affiliates never have to worry about packagingsupplies or postal rates.11. No Customer Service Concerns - Do you hate the prospectof dealing with nasty people or customer complaints? Don'tworry about it! The merchant handles the snivelers.12. Make Money While You Sleep - What other business allowsyou as a sole proprietor to keep your doors open and keepmaking money even when you take breaks or after you go homefor the night?13. The World at Your Doorstep - The Internet is theworld's largest marketplace. You can drive more visitors toyour online store in a day, than many small-town merchantssees in his or her brick and mortar business in a year.14. Minimal Risk - The product you chose isn't makingmoney? Dump it. Take down your links and promote another! It's that easy. There are no long-term contracts bindingyou to products that don't sell.15. High Income Potential - If you have a job, your salaryor hourly wage is probably pre-determined. Maybe there'snot much, other than working overtime, that you can do toincrease your income.
