NOT IN MY HOUSE!

The book NOT IN MY HOUSE! By Pastor Andre Butler confirms everything that I have always believed. Recession does not have to come to your house just because it comes to a nation. This is a book that was very hard to put down. You can start implementing a strategy to get out of debt by reading this book. If you are not a tither, you need to start tithing. If you know someone who is without a job, give them this book. If you know someone who just doesn’t get it when it comes to God’s way of doing things financially, this book is for them.It is amazing how we have been sold a bill of goods about depending on debt as a way of life. A lot of people, pay for items with cash. I am sure a lot of you pay for things in cash. I know of some people who will save up the money to purchase a vehicle in cash. I think I will try that the next time I get a car. I have always heard that it is better to have a 15 year loan as opposed to a 30 year loan. However, I had no idea that when you close on the house, you need to make your first payment at that time.I don’t have credit cards, but I use to have them and decided several years ago to not be bothered again. Of course, I know that the home loans are a rip-off because you don’t start eating away at the principal until 20 years later. That is so ridiculous. Pastor Butler lets us know that we are comfortable in operating in the world’s system and this is not how God wants us to operate. God wants us to have his best. A four or five year car note is not God’s best. A 30 year mortgage is not God’s best.He talks about sitting down and making a budget. I have made budgets for organizations and everything else. I have made budgets for myself before but sometimes just didn’t want to face the music about what I really owe and what cash is really coming in. I just did another budget while reading this book. I declare I don’t know how I have been paying my bills. It’s probably because I’m a tither. That is the only reason that I am still afloat. Also, I like to sow financial seeds at my church and TBN and with a few other ministries that I partner with like Breakthrough and World Changers Church International. I am a believer that you can sow your way out of anything.It has often been said that until you get sick and tired of something it won’t change. I declare today that I am sick and tired of having a car note and a mortgage. I am going to try and put my car note to rest this year. I will really have to curb my spending. It will take a while on the mortgage but I am trying to figure out how to participate in the loan modification program that the President has available. I am not behind on my mortgage and it is not 31% of my income but it is still $1100 dollars and that’s too much with the repairs that I have to make. It is also 9% interest which is too high. If Countrywide doesn’t come correct, I am going to shop around and find someone who will. You can’t afford not to read this book. This might be the book that will make you the millionaire that God has called you to be. However, you must remember that the wealth that God will pour into your hands is to help finance the gospel. Yes, He wants us to live well, but the bottom line is about harvesting as many souls as possible before Jesus comes back.

I was jumping onto every website possible, in hopes of making mega money overnight. I held on to all of the promises that were being told to me. With intense focus, I was determined to dissect this industry to find out if it was really true that we could earn thousands of dollars online, and find out the specifics of what I needed to do to make it happen!After personally spending thousands of dollars on courses, e-books, programs, videos, software and the likes, I’ve come to learn one of the most important aspects of establishing true online wealth. You see, many people look at the internet as a place where people voluntarily give you their credit card for products that you “claim” are good. But that’s not really how it happens. If you want to know how it really works, then here it goes:1. You create a website that is focused on a specific “niche market”.2. You then begin to put valuable information on that website, sharing with those in your target market, valuable information that the feel they couldn’t find elsewhere.3. You then have an “opt-in” form on your website that allows visitors to receive “FREE” resources or e-book that they feel they have to have…when they opt-in, you then have their email information to stay in contact with them.4. You set up “auto-responder” messages, that automatically communicate with your list, to work for you, building a relationship with them along the way.5. After they’ve seen 5-7 messages from you that are of value, they begin to feel like they know you personally.6. As you build up your list, you then proceed to share valuable “affiliate programs” that allow you to “monetize” from your list. Because they’ve come to know and trust you, they buy from you and you start making money.7. Angles Continue To Be #1 Source of Capital

Greetings Family,(Contact Information At The Bottom Of The Page)It's your friendly neighborhood "Digital Drummer" again...smileAccording to the University of New Hampshire's Center for Venture Research (CVR), Angel investors continue to be the number one source of seed and startup capital for entrepreneurs. A total of 55,480 entrepreneurial ventures received Angel funding in 2008, a modest 2.9% decrease from 2007, and the number of active investors in 2008 was 260,500 individuals, virtually unchanged from 2007.This data indicates that while Angels have not significantly decreased their investment activity, they are committing less dollars (resulting from lower valuations and a cautious approach to investing). CVR concludes that although the current economic climate has not reduced Angel activity significantly, it has caused investors to scale back the size of their investments.An Angel investor or Angel (according to Wikipedia) is an affluent individual who provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. A small but increasing number of Angel investors organize themselves into Angel groups or networks to share research and pool their investment capital. My definition, as I wrote in “So You Want To Be A Dot.com Millionaire” (see www.citylightssoftware.com/reporte0801.html) is more in line with the FFF concept (Friends, Family, and Fools).My advice to find Angels, is to tell everyone you know what you are doing. You shouldn't worry about giving your idea away as much as you should worry about not getting your funding fast enough. A good place for the totally uninitiated to start, is to talk to anyone who deals with a lot of startups, such as lawyers, PR firms, accountants, and marketing consultants.CVR released statistics on application and acceptance rates for minority and women entrepreneurs as well. CVR found that although their acceptance rates were in line with the total population of entrepreneurs, minorities and women are less likely to seek angel funding. In 2008, minority Angels accounted for 3.6% of the Angel population and women Angels represented 16.5% of the Angel market.Minority-owned firms represented 3.7% of the entrepreneurs that presented their business concept to Angels. The yield rate for these minority-owned firms was 11.3%, which for the second straight year, is in line with market yield rates. However, the small percentage of minority-owned firms seeking Angel capital is of concern. Women-owned ventures accounted for 15.7% of the entrepreneurs that are seeking Angel capital and 9.5% of these women entrepreneurs received Angel investment in 2008.Healthcare/Medical Devices and Equipment took the lead as the most popular sector for Angel investment, passing Software in 2008. Healthcare companies received 16 percent of all investment. Despite becoming the top sector, healthcare's total share of investment actually declined by three points from 2007. Software saw its share of total investment fall even more, from 27 percent of investment to 13 percent. The Biotech and Industrial/Energy sectors held steady while both Retail and Media increased their share.In 2008, only ten percent of companies that were reviewed by Angel investors actually received Angel dollars. This continues the decline in acceptance rates that has occurred since the industry's peak acceptance in 2005, when 23 percent of companies were approved. Though Angel investments dropped considerably in 2008, the total number of deals held steady. Total investments fell 26.2 percent from 2007 to $19.2 billion, while deals fell only 2.9 percent.45 percent of Angel deals invested in companies at the seed and startup phase, up from 39 percent in 2007. A majority of Angel capital recipients (63 %), are in their first sequence of fundraising, a number that has held steady for several years. Looking for Donations

Dear Crafters and Small Business Owners:I was recently approached by a good friend of mine whose husband is in the National Guard. Periodically they ask local businesses for donations for different events they host during the year. This year they decided to host a Basket Social to help raise funds for their Family Readiness group. The Family Readiness Group is a group of military family member that work together to help the soldiers and their families.That being said, I would like to do something for them. I will be donating a handbag for the raffle. I would also like to donate a basket full of items from other home run businesses.
