3 Top Reasons Why Women End Up With Mr. Wrong#3 - Fantasy LoveSome women fall in love with the fantasy in their head, and as soon as a good looking guy comes along and start flattering them, they fall head over hills for them without finding out what type of guy their dealing with.Fact - Some women stay in relationships because their heart get attached. They trick themselves into thinking he will change or he is just having a hard time right now all because the fantasy man in their head match the looks and materialistic things of this man.Resolution - Give the relationship a test run. Meaning don't get serious or sleep with himuntil you really get to know him. Of course you never fully know a person, but atleast you get to detect warning signsat the beginning. Take the blind fold off and see who he really is. If the guy looks like your fantasy, but he mentally or physically abuse you, move on early! I'm pretty sure your fantasy man did not have abuse in any way.#2 - LonlinessWhen some women are lonely and want to feel accepted by a man they are quick to give the first guy that comes along a chance. Some women even look beyond the fact that they are not physically attracted to the guy. They say to themselves, "I'm not attracted to him, but because he's Mr. Right Now, I'll give him a try".Fact - When some women are lonely, as soon as they break up with one guy they take the next one in linebecause they don't want to be by themselves.Resolution - Find girlfriends to talk to. Get involved in activities, so loneliness don't hit so hard. You have to keep living your life until you find someone you would like to get to know.#1 - We Do not Know Who We AreWe have to ask ourselves way before we get into a serious relationship;A- "What type of personality I have?"B- "What are my personal goals?"Fact - We have to look inside ourselves first before someone else get to know us. If we don't know who we are, Mr. Wrong will show up frequently.ResolutionA- Date yourself aloneB- Find out your likes and dislikesC- What type of man is best for your personality. When you find out who you are, you are on your way to finding "Mr. Right For Me"Victoria DYour Motivational Friend

It was Kamal Imani's first time performing his spoken word/Neo Soul song "Lovin Her Nappy Nappy" live at the Bowery. He wanted to rock it right for promoter and CEO of Brown Eyez Magazines "PJ". The audience was with him and they all had a good time lovin the nappy nappy. This song is a tribute and dedication to natural hair styles and the sisters who rock them. It is also laced with humor and flirtation. Enjoy!

Purchasing a home is an intimidating process without the news reports about the current mortgage crisis, repeating terms like sub-prime lending and balloon payments. Families are losing their homes at an alarming rate and it has been reported that African Americans have been the target of mortgage lenders processing high cost loans by qualifying those with poor credit scores for high interests rates and hidden costs like balloon payments. Sub prime is a type of loan that is offered at a rate above prime to individuals who do not qualify for prime rate loans.Dedrick Muhammad co-author of a report from United for a Fair Economy called “Foreclosed: The State of the Dream 2008, cites the sub-prime mortgage crisis as the source leading to the greatest loss of wealth in modern US history for people of color who stand to lose over $200 billion dollars. Dedrick Muhammad is senior organizer and research associate at the Institute for Policy Studies. It all seems overwhelming to our desire to own a home and have our own piece of land to cultivate overshadowed by the anxiety we all feel for those families that are victims of foreclosure due to predatory lending practices. We dread the thought of losing a home before we even purchase one. If you have ever lost a home is it a paralyzing experience. The feeling of shame, blame, and guilt to feel your home slipping away can be devastating.Read moreOmitunde, Publisher of African American Family ConnectionAn online magazine about African American Family values and community.Visit AAFC for the latest issue each month and a copy of "The Ripple Effect".Read more…

by Philip Brown - THIS IS AN ARTICLE REPRINTBranding yourself is a concept that represents everything about your business or company. It sets your business and products apart from the competition. Only the businesses who communicate the real value of their product in today's world of high expectations will accomplish everything they want. So, what makes you and your product different? The main goal of branding yourself is to own a product category. By branding yourself, you are identifying and defining everything from packaging to public relations. Your brand should epitomize the personality of your company.Since it will have a huge impact on your bottom line, it is very important that you create a solid brand for yourself and your company. When your targeted customer becomes loyal to your brand, price will become less of an issue for your company. There are many different elements that go into making a successful brand. First, there is relevance. Do your target customers believe that they need your product in their life? Will it make a positive difference in their daily life? Will it make their life easier? Will it make them feel good about themselves?Another element is differentiation. What makes the benefits of your products or services different from the competition? Next there is brand awareness. Do your potential customers even know that your company or products exist? Brand awareness will lead to a preference for your brand because it will be the first thing that comes to mind when they think of your product or service.Lastly there is consistency. If you are inconsistent in your business communications and products, then your potential customers will be confused and it will have a negative impact on your brand identity. This makes it important to define who you and your business are to set yourself apart from the competition. What happens once you know who you are and you have branded yourself? Once you have defined yourself and your company's products, then you need to focus on the above issues to help separate yourself from your competition. Your logo should help your potential customers define your product at a glance. Make sure that you create the best image to represent your company and its products. You should create a tag line. A tag line is a sentence or phrase that describes your products or services and helps your customers identify it anywhere.Careful and controlled branding can result in an increase in sales, more customers, and an ability to increase the value, and thus, the pricing of your products or services.Phillip Brown, Internet Marketer, Coach and MentorToll Free Telephone: 1-800-990-2024Official Website: http://www.watch-dog-reports.comE-mail:pwfonline@yahoo.com

I grew up during a time when African Americans loved each other and lived in neighborhoods and communities that were interconnected like the web of love. A web of love and support that looked like women cooking for other families when there was illness or taking food to a repast for a family grieving the loss of a loved one. Yes, I was one of those children thatwas corrected by a neighbor and again when they informed my parents of what I was guilty of.Today we are not that close knit community. If you say something to a young person today, you could get cussed out or worse, physically attacked.Reuniting the African American family is very important to me and I hope is it important to everyone who cares about the future of African American children. Have you ever looked around at the people that would come to your aid in a crisis? If you are the head of your household, who would come to assist your loved ones if something happened to you? It is urgent that we reconnect and become strong again.Read moreRead more…

I recently joined a new book club called African Americans on the Move Book Club that promotes and exposes young black authors. Not only that but the founder Tamika Newhouse is dedicated to helping others by offering financial assistance to those in need as well as a radio show to promote unheard of but very talented authors. I am the President of the Atlanta Chapter, as well as the Head of AAMBC Kids. The kids division is what my mind and heart is on the most.... The Official Website For AAMBC Kids .The site is not done yet but in a few weeks it will go live and we will remove the sub-domain.This is a great opportunity for kids to learn, grow and become a part of something important. We will plan field trips to local museums, art exhibits, writing workshops, and college tours. None of this is possible however, without the support of our sponsors. If you or someone you know would like to sponsor the kids or start a chapter in your area, please contact me. Name Of The Product: Easy PLRWhere You Can Buy It: http://www.easyplr.com/Product Description: Private Label Rights Article PacksThis site offers private label rights articles which are sold in packs to web publishers looking for top quality content for their websites or blogs. This site also sells content to offline publishers like local parenting magazines and coffee table book publishers.Who This Product Is Intended For:The customers at EasyPLR are website or blog owners who are interested in adding quality content to their website or blog to give added value for their readers. These people are usually in the market for unique, quality content, but cannot afford to pay ghostwriters’ higher prices. Their solution? To purchase quality PLR and edit it to become uniquely theirs.Uses:You can use the PLR articles from EasyPLR for blog posts, articles in your newsletter, or to create e-courses for your auto-responder. Get creative and pull the articles together in a document, add graphics, and turn it into a pdf. Then, offer that pdf as a freebie report to your mailing list. You can also create an information product, put your name on it and sell it. The uses are only limited by your imagination.Pros:EasyPLR offers very affordable articles. In addition, the site always has many different topics to choose from that are relevant to parent, online marketers and the like. The articles are top quality, written by a paid writer, and then also edited by a second writer. The articles can be personalized to better fit your site and you can claim them as your own. The people at EasyPLR only sell a limited about of each topic so you aren’t regurgitating the same stuff everyone else is. The other benefit of choosing EasyPLR is that there is no membership required. You can shop just for what you need – and get what you need without loading up on miscellaneous content. In addition, the site often runs specials and is very current in what they offer.I’ve found that the articles that are offered here are of much higher quality that those that I’ve purchased elsewhere. Also, the customer service is great! I accidentally purchased two of the same report and I was given another report with no hassle. The folks at EasyPLR also include suggested affiliate programs to monetize the PLR that you purchase.Cons:As with all PLR content, the content will not be original to you. However, unlike most PLR sites, the packs are sold in very limited quantities. The only other negative for this site is that I can’t always find content on the topic that I’m looking for. However, the quality more than makes up for that – when I can find the topic that I need.Personal Opinion:EasyPLR.com allows me to provide my readers with quality information while saving me time (it’s available when I need it) and money (no ghostwriters or PLR memberships). Furthermore, they offer discounts when you purchase in bulk. As a mom and blogger, there is always something there that will help me boost my content and/or increase my knowledge. I highly recommend EasyPLR.com. Check them out today!

In marketing, positioning has come to mean the process by which marketers try to create an image or identity in the minds of their target market for its product, brand, or organization. It is the 'relative competitive comparison' their product occupies in a given market as perceived by the target market.Re-positioning involves changing the identity of a product, relative to the identity of competing products, in the collective minds of the target market.De-positioning involves attempting to change the identity of competing products, relative to the identity of your own product, in the collective minds of the target market. The growth of high-tech marketing may have had much to do with the shift in definition towards competitive positioning. What most will agree on is that Positioning is something (perception) that happens in the minds of the target market. It is the aggregate perception the market has of a particular company, product or service in relation to their perceptions of the competitors in the same category. It will happen whether or not a company's management is proactive, reactive or passive about the on-going process of evolving a position. But a company can positively influence the perceptions through enlightened strategic actionsCharlene BrownVisionaryThe Grand Connector "Anointed to Make The CONNECTION"The Black Business Cafe#38 on The List of 50 of The Most Powerful and Influential Women in Social Media for 200850 of The Most Powerful and Influential Women in Social Media 2008 Read more…
No matter what didn't come to pass so far this year or what heartbreaks happened, a new year is coming up and we're going after things a new way! When there are difficult times - know incredible things are on the horizon. It's always darkest before the dawn - so don't give up. Keep fighting. Know we win in the end. It's in the Book!We were born to win! So it's time we act like it, talk like it and walk in it. We were birthed with a purpose and hand-made by God in His image. As with any victory, there are challenges, struggles and sometimes an out and out battle that precedes it. But remember if God is on our side, we win! I'm a living testimony.Though I've gone through some trials this year, I've learned these hard times actually made me stronger. Once I passed through the valley, I experienced my greatest breakthrough on the other side. With every new level, there was a new "devil" waiting in the wings to steal my destiny - but I was wiser and stronger with each test I went through because I really believed:- I was more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil 4:13)- God was perfecting all that concerns me (Psalm 138:8)- Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)God equipped us all with the tools to win the battle and the war if we just keep going and don't throw in the towel. As my pastor, Dr. Stacia Pierce, says, "Don't quit it until you get it." A dream delayed in not a dream denied. Here are some strategies to keep a victorious attitude all year and remain undefeated:1. Don't panic, worry or complain. Set your mind and keep it set on victory. When things seem to skid off the tracks, minimize the situation and maximize your time with God. The Word says, "Be still and know that I am God" (Ps. 46:10). God is bigger than your problem; greater than your issues. 2008 will be great if we keep the faith. Fear will die and courage will flourish when you take time and get alone in the presence of God. It's hard to complain about the minuscule when you're in the presence of the omniscient, omnipotent God. Enter into His rest; trust Him. God promises in Isaiah 43:2-3: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God." You can't worry and worship at the same time. So make it a habit to worship God with all your heart - He loves you.2. Embrace your calling, claim your dream & define your goals. Be serious about success and don't compare yourself with others. Finding and fulfilling your own destiny is victory. By honing in on your own God-given gifts and talents will prevent you from being side-tracked by envy and jealousy which opens the door to negativity and adversity. Real winners keep their heart pure and focus on achieving more, doing more and reaching for more so they can live their dreams and make an impact on others. Winners are mission-minded. Run the race that God called you to run.3. Fight back, be bold and very courageous. Your dreams are worth it. Know that battle is only temporary and we win when we fight using the weapons God has provided us: soak up the Scriptures so you can consistently confess the Word and declare victory over your situation; fasting to sharpen your spiritual sensitivity to hear God's voice; get rid of offense and walk in love and forgiveness; sow seed expecting a miracle because the law of reciprocity works; and praise God before you actually see the victory. That's proof of true belief.4. Get wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The more you know, the more you grow. Readers are leaders. Study the champions. Read about great men and women. Meditate on biblical heroes like Joseph, Paul, David or Esther. Stay inspired. Create a prayer circle. Listen to godly advice from mentors. Ignorance can be deadly. "My people are destroyed from lack on knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). Continually expand your mind and learn from good books.5. Give God time to work. Stand firm, stay strong and be patient in the process. Promotion follows adversity. Expect it. Get your eyes on the bigger picture. Feed your faith and don't lose hope. Life is a marathon not a sprint. Be tough; avoid the victim mentality when you get weary. Visualize success and keep faith photos of your goal before you. Patience is a weapon. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9).6. Stay focused. Your battle deserves your full attention. We only lose because of broken focus. Eliminate distractions and toxic people from your life. You'll be sure to get the victory when you keep your focus and full of joy. If we just learn to outlast the enemy, we win. When the enemy sees you are more determined than he is, he'll back down and you'll move forward into greater realms of victory. The key is to stay the course with God. Endurance is rewarded - always. "With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies." Psalm 60:12Shoot me an email and I'll send you a list of great books that will keep you on track to reach your dreams and walk in victory pamperry@ministrymarketingsolutions.comwe win! The gift giving season is almost upon us! Odds are that you are among the many who are frantically looking for ideas. To help you in your quest for that perfect gift, here are my five tips that are sure give you great results:1. Know the person you are shopping for. This may seem like a no brainer, but if you are part of a secret Santa program at work, you may not know the recipient that well. This is your chance to channel your inner detective. Ask co-workers about the person. Observe them, but by no means become a stalker! Look at their desk, is there a family or pet photo? Use these findings in your shopping.2. Be Aware of Your Budget. There is nothing worse than opening your credit card statement after the holiday shopping season. Make sure whatever gifts you give, you can afford.3. Go surfing! On the web that is. You can find the most unique items online from small mom and pop shops. Do a google search for WAHM directories to get listings of different online businesses. You’ll also find great deals online from bigger companies as well.4. Everybody wants to be pampered! Whether it is a free dinner, massage or manicure, people like a gift that treats them to something. Even if it is something that they have never done before, if it is free to them, they’ll take it!5. When in doubt, a gift card is always welcome! Who can’t use a gift card to Target or Walmart? Better yet, a Visa, Mastercard or American Express gift card that can be used any where is even better! I’ve yet to hear of someone trying to return a gift card! Just be sure that the recipient reads the fine print. Some gift cards start to charge fees if the card is not used in a specific amount of time. Now go forth and shop!

In times of economic hardship or the overall "the economy is bad" cloud, it is so easy to lose sight of the vision we have for our business. All over America people are feeling a "profit" crunch. However, it is imperative that remain focused and continue to implement strategies for businesss growth. Do not become personally deflated by the "bad economy" syndrome. In other words don't use this as the excuse for all your business woes. Ask yourself, How can I stand in my power and take back my business? How am I responsible? Review your mission statement. Do you know what need your business fulfills? Are you clear about your purpose and your passion? Are you truly aware of your worth. Encourage and Empower yourself to be responsibly, committed. I too am guilty of this. When asked "How is Business?", I have immediately said."Oh you know this economy is horrible..blah, blah". This has become a theme song. Yes the economy is bad right now, but I encourage you to persevere with purpose. Take control of things in your business that you can control.Implement those changes immediately. Be grateful for what is working and be a source of purpose.www.edenspathway.comRead more…
