Lace Wig and Hairlines

For most women who order stock wigs, they usually don't have a problem with fitting them. There are, however, women who are not able to buy ready made lace wigs. Why? Hairlines. Everyone's hairline is different. With different hairlines, most stock wigs will not fit women with varying hairlines such as a low hairline, hair growing down to the temple area, or hair growing on the sides as side burns. This is mainly where women got the idea of shaving the hairline back so that they are able to wear one.The perfect example is the beautiful Mo'nique. Enclosed are some pictures of her hairline and how could see how it would be a challenge to adjust a stock lace wig for individiuals with hairlines such as hers.So for ladies who are not able to buy stock wigs, do not despair, custom is worth the wait!

DON'T BE AFRAID TO CHARGE WHAT YOU'RE WORTH

- DON'T BE AFRAID TO CHARGE WHAT YOU'RE WORTH -Written by Aliza ShermanGet over your emotional hang-ups about money. Think instead about the value you're offering your customers.I have a love/hate relationship with money, and it has plagued me all my adult life. It's taken me 20 years to extricate myself from a slew of bad money habits and operate around it with less emotion. In business, emotions and money just don't mix.Ever since starting my own company in 1995, I've struggled with how much to charge for my services. Along with the emotional aspects of managing money, I battled low self-esteem, so putting a dollar value on my work was painful. As I've learned to separate myself from the companies I've owned and run, I can now look at charging for services as a consequence of doing business and not a rating of my personal worthiness.Professionally, I'm actually worth a lot. There are few people in social media today who can say they've been doing internet and social media in their various incarnations since 1992. But I still cringe when pricing my services or announcing my rates.Click here http://www.onyxsix.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48:dont-be-afraid-to-charge-what-youre-worth&catid=13:how-to-guides&Itemid=13 to read more.- SIGN UP FOR THE ONYX SIX NEWSLETTER -Sign up for our free newsletter to receive information on upcoming events, business advice and special offers from Onyx Six click here http://oi.vresp.com/?fid=ef70831112 to opt in.

How do I wear that trend...pearls

Happy first day of Spring! It’s lovely here in Atlanta and I’m enjoying the mild temperatures. In recent months, pearls have made a resurgence along with all other types of fabulous accessories. While pearls are indeed a classic and never truly go out of style, they are sometimes related to the necks and ears of very conservative ladies. Now that accessories are becoming bigger and better with things like cocktail rings and statement jewelry, pearls are getting their just desserts as well. However, if you want to take part in the pearl trend, you don’t necessarily have to do it with big pearl earrings or necklaces. You can still put on a pair of classic, small pearls and look very lovely. Besides, have you ever noticed how the addition of pearls to an outfit can make it go from plain to classic?Don’t underestimate the power of the pearl! For more Clueless Fashionista blogs, visit www.cluelessfashionista.com

Conservatives Defend AIG Bonuses

Greetings Family,(Contact Information At The Bottom Of The Page)It's your friendly neighborhood "Digital Drummer" again...smileOnce again the Republican party has demonstrated that it is the party of the richLast week Representative Charlie Rangel, (Dem of New York) sponsored House Bill H.R. 1586. The Bill, essentially will impose a 90 percent tax on bonuses given to employees with family incomes above $250,000 at AIG and other companies that have received at least $5 billion in government bailout money.Immediately, conservative leaders came out in force against it. From talking heads Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity, to party leaders Michael Steele, and John Boehner, all proclaimed their outrage and indignation. Their justification ranged from the government violating the sanctity of private contracts, to (can you believe this) the Bill only tax's 90%...not 100%On the March 17 edition of his syndicated radio show, Sean Hannity stated: Whether you like the AIG bonuses or not, think about this: They're going to make a law, and they're going to tax every single penny of it, virtually all of it. In other words, we're going to just steal their money. And they're not going to be able to do a darn thing about it, because we're the government, and if we decide we can confiscate all of their wealth, we're gonna do it."On the March 18 edition of his Fox News show, Glen Beck said, that he doesn't "like the idea of failed businesses paying bonuses, but what I really, really don't like here is the idea that we are willing to give in to mob rule, and that's what this is." He added: "I mean, the only thing they haven't said is, 'Bring out the monster.' It's mob rule. They are attempting to void legally binding contracts."Rush Limbaugh has went so far as to accuse the Obama administration of "Ginning up" the whole AIG bonus issue...ain't that what the Bush administration did in justifying the war in Iraq? The bottom line is that House Bill H.R. 1586 passed 328-93...with over half of the house republicans voting against it.The Senate will be taking up their own version of the bonus tax in the next couple of weeks, and already Sen. Jon Kyl, (the Republicans' vote counter) has blocked Democratic efforts to put the Senate version of the tax bill on a fast track to congressional approval. The thing that gets me is that conservatives have no problem violating a union contract, but will fight like hell to defend big business. The truth of the matter is the Republican party has become the party of NO! It makes no sense, other then to protect the corporate lobbyist that have a vested interest in the Republican party. To continue to support the rich....over the best interests of the general public.Remember we must Share The Knowledge….To Share The Dollars.***************(Advertisement)*********************Need some great ideas for corporate or personal gift-giving?Then go to City Lights Software(http://www.citylightssoftware.com)and see some of the most unique afrocentric gifts available online! We Deliver ONLINE - Direct To Your Desktop for just $14.95Please take the time to purchase one our afrocentric screen savers TODAY!Don't Just Talk the Talk...Let Your Dollars Walk the WalkIf you have any problems with purchasing online contact me direct at sales@citylightssoftware.com or call (213) 944-4176***************************************************This Online Journal was brought to you by InterServe Networks. Most people generally pay bills on time. However, with layoffs and no jobs, most consumers can't pay. Many are trying to make ends' meat and just survive the recession. So what do you do?My top three anwers will be to negoitate with your creditors, create a budget and get back on track.First, negoitate with your lenders before your account starts to go bad. The month prior to you missing that bill, call them and ask what your options are. Most of them will reduce the interest, so that you can pay off the bill faster. Some will even reduce the monthly payment.Second, make a list of all the bills you can pay and focus on them. Budgeting your bills is the key to success. You can get overwhelmed easily and the phone calls will start to come from collections agencies. Never never talk to collection agencies via phone. Tell them to respond about any account via mail and to not harass you. In some cases, you will have to write them a letter.Last, get back on track. Just because you fail behind one or two months, doesn't mean life is over and your credit will be ruined forever. Remember, that was a temporary situation that you could not avoid.. So get back on track. Your credit will rebound. If you run from it, it will only do more damage to your score.During this time, do not apply for credit. You will mostly likely get denied. If a creditor pulls you file and see's you are already behind on bills, why would they approve you for more? Don't risk loosing points on your credit to denials. To be continued....More articles can be found by joining my fanclub at www.reginalittles.com

From the author of:The Family In The CarA RevelationTheLordIs NotYourHusbandLord yes, Lover noComing Spring, 2009!Placed in human beings are the needs and desires necessary for reproduction. Along with these natural desires, comes personal gratification, as well as, pleasure. All of these are important to the continuance of the life cycle. Without them, humanity would become extinct.Someone once said that they believed God purposely made sex pleasurable so that procreation would come with ease and there would be no problem in keeping the world populated. As you can see, the world does not have that problem, whatsoever. It is completely normal for women to have desires to be loved physically. Women are physical beings with fleshly needs. For so long, the church has made it taboo for a woman to embrace those physical needs, wants and desires, as if they were types of diseases of some sort. Women have felt the isolation that came with the forbidden, especially the single women. Why has the church continued to propel this false ideology that God was a woman's all in all and if they had Jesus, it was enough? Why hasn't the church come forth in a greater force to make an effort in the liberation of these females? How can a fleshly need such sexual satisfaction be met in something spiritual and sacred? God is a spirit and people are flesh. No matter how many times they repeat "Devil you are a liar" and "Get thee behind me Satan", the needs are still there. Women are walking around wondering what's wrong with them. With all the rebuking and binding, they can't seem to get rid of those sinful, nasty desires. Why?Women have suffered long enough; from self hatred and not feeling good enough, some even to the point of annihilation.Stop asking that your internal desires be removed and just accept the fact that you are wonderfully and marvelously made. It's Time You Set Yourself Free!Copyright (c) 2009All rights reservedBrenda Farrar-EjemaiCEO, Favor Blooms, LLCBoard, United Black Writers Associationwww.TheFamilyInTheCar.comwww.youtube.com/thefamilyinthecarISBN: 978-1-58909-485-7

Since we can easily interact with people from all over the world it is important to know how we are viewed by other cultures, societies and governments. Today our children can grasp so much with so little effort that we seem to let them gain all sorts of knowledge without first understanding what about them precedes their actions.Little do we know that we are the ones that the international arena has been waiting on. Yes, we have shown the world that we can run, play ball, dance, sing, teach, fly rockets, invent cures and products, grow food, own businesses and lead in government. All of these things have also been achieved by other nations and peoples throughout the earth. What the international chairs are waiting on is whether or not the children of slaves in America and throughout the Slavery Diaspora are going to recognize themselves enough to join at the table with those who make the decisions for societies. Yes, we have been told that we are missing and have been missing for quite some time. In fact, it has been said that the United Nations recognized that it needs to find a place for us to fit within international law. Why not? Did not the Indians get some form of justice? Did not the Japanese get some form of justice? Did not the Jews get some form of justice? All of these claims were heard because those nations of people were very concerned about their youth and the future of their society and culture. They did not want their children to be swallowed up so much that they would forever be a dependent people. (Don't forget that they have their human rights.)Black people have dealt with just about every issue concerning our past, present and future with the exception of the Great Grand Daddy of them all. The issue of human rights reaches back to the Atlantic Slave Trade because before slavery, we were in fact a nation of people who spoke our mother tongue, survived with our own culture and practices and governed ourselves. Now it can be argued how we looked, or what were doing at the time, but at least we were not stripped of every piece of fabric that made us whole human beings.Make your children aware that they are a part of a 250 million member nation of people who are being represented for a real change. So if they want to be a lawyer, they will have the same human rights as a caucasian lawyer, or an asian or indian lawyer. Tell them we are working so hard that if they want to be a Minister, or Teacher, or an Officer that they will have the same human rights as other races of people. Because right now, we don't.

The Sweet Fragrance of Possibility

Around the water cooler and across the web, the call to “Buy Black” is again clearly ringing above the day-to-day din of simply being African American. Our chronic yearn for economic autonomy exponentially heightened by the euphoria and apprehension pervading current socio-political circumstances. Folks feel the ground shaking and a renewed seriousness about pulling some of it under their feet.Once we overcome the Stockholm Syndrome Choir’s rendition of “Black folks don’t take care of business”, and “You know saggins don’t support saggins,” the issue becomes how. Many of us, including me, have to drive miles to shop brick and mortar black and I know lots of folks that have to take a day trip. Gone are the sweet shop and the cleaners on the corner. The commitment, no matter how crucial, is simply beyond the financial and physical ability of large segments of the African American community. This is one of those places where we have a tendency to become embroiled in political pontificating and finger pointing. There’s this country song that says, “When you’re going through hell, keep on going.” I think that’s sound advice; let’s take it. Take one giant step forward. Step out of the mire of a history forced upon us; step out of the chaos of our current time. Take a step forward; breathe deep; that faint, sweet fragrance is possibility wafting on the freshening air.Ya’ll know I have been talking about micro funding for months -100,000 Angels, Rent Parties. I am convinced the climate is right for us to use long held tools to do unprecedented things. What did George Jackson say, “Infiltrate and overtake?” I’ve said it on several radio shows, in nearly every edition of Not Ur Momma’s News and on Almas Sami’s bliptv show. The power is not Barack Obama seated in the oval office; the power is in the tangible proof of just how much yes we can. The opportunity is plentiful and the time is right for us to be/create the change we want to see.Okay, I digress. My point: There exists a simple, inexpensive format through which we can all commit to keeping African American money circulating through African American hands and attain the goal of personal and community economic autonomy simultaneously. A brother named Lee Green birthed a dream named the Black Business Builders Club. His vision provides us a viable cornerstone for financial and therefore socio-political sovereignty. Now, there are some folks who’ll balk that I just caught this vision, but that ain’t real ya’ll. I looked at Black Business Builders Club – I want to say a million times, but 50 for sure and I reached out to several members. Email after email I asked how the vision and purpose of Black Business Builders Club complemented and was complemented by the visions and purposes of Not Ur Momma’s News’ readers. I was seeking more than a business builder; I was looking for a bridge builder, a community builder. Reply after reply, including from Lee, I was admonished to go read the prolific documentation; one member even told me I was just the kind of person they didn’t want. Said I had no vision and deleted me from their connections, because I needed a win/win understanding. Perhaps I’m a bit…ah aggressive, but you deserve excellence and it’s my intention to bring you nothing less. I held out for nearly 6 months. Then a few days ago, Herbert Harris rang my phone and I’m so excited to tell you the Black Business Builders Club vision finally caught me. Like many in cyberspace, he is a retired professional, accomplished author and savvy businessman; unlike most, he is earnestly invested in the long-term success of every member of this team and the African American community. I don’t want to pen his bio, but I want you to know he possesses a wealth of wisdom even a complete novice can easily learn to build on. Herbert has not only created a simple cookie-cutter training formula for us to follow, but he is personally available to encourage and mentor whenever needed. Black Business Builders Club offers a wealth of business and educational tools, including an extensive PDF library and all sorts of kool applications, like file sharing and video postcards. Herbert offers the expertise and individual coaching to help you make it work for you.I’m thrilled to announce our membership in the Black Business Builders Club and confident in saying becoming a Black Business Builders Club member is your/our most effective next step toward the definitive, irreversible change we are still striving to see.Around the water cooler and across the web, the call, at last, has found a resounding, yet simple answer. We can Buy Black and revitalize our communities while we build personal wealth. Take that one step forward; Join the Black Business Builders Club now.

Greetings to all of my Black Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and online friends ,I have been telling you about the Black Business Network and TAG TEAM Marketing for awhile now. I just got off a conference call with the latest info on the Black Business Network. In the past 3 weeks over 10,000 unique visitors, with over 50,000 page views to the Black Business Network’s website. Plus a membership base of over 20,000 Black people waiting to buy from Black Businesses. So my questions to you are how much do you spend on advertising? Are you reaching a lucrative market of consumers ready to purchase from you? With all of your social networking and current methods of advertising your business, are you getting results like this? Here are just a few recent success stories.1) An owner of a natural soap product said he joined and within one week he had made over 7 sales. His profile has been viewed over 450 times. He thinks this organization is awesome.2) An insurance agent joined last Wednesday and had 7 emails for appointments by last Saturday.3) Another new member of the Black Business Network from Phoenix sold a laptop computer one day after joining this powerful network! His business profile has been viewed over 330 times.(His laptop prices start at $750.00. So he got a huge return on his membership investment within 24 hours!)These are only three success stories there are many, many more! This Black Business Network at TAG TEAM is creating results comparable to the big box mega stores, except it is exclusive to Black… Business Owners and Entrepreneurs. So if you haven’t taken the time to visit www.blackbusinessnetwork.com/TeamDollar to join yet, what are you waiting for? Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith to move your business to the next level. I am asking you to take a look at how many other Black business owners from around the country that saw the potential benefits and immediately took action to join. George Fraser of FraserNet who is a global icon for Black leadership training is a member of the Black Business Network. Ever heard of BlackPR.com? They are a Platinum member of this network.

TAG TEAM has been holding off until this Tuesday, 3/24/09, to send out the first round of press releases to over 40,000 Black media outlets and Black Journalists announcing this Black Business Network. If over 50,000 page views and 10,000 unique visitors are currently visiting the site, how many more do you think will be clicking through afterwards? Here’s the bottom line, if you own a Black business can you afford as little as $9.99 for a basic listing to let TAG TEAM promote your product or service to thousands of Black Consumers for you?Visit www.blackbusinessnetwork.com/TeamDollar right now to sign up for the basic listing at $9.99 per month (there are no contracts, no activation fees.) Then let me know how many people viewed your listing within the first few weeks, and how many sales or how many emails you received. Just as easy

It is just as easy to focus your thoughts on something positive in your life as it is to focus on something negative. It is just as easy to be sincerely thankful for your blessings as it is to be bitter and angry about your problems.Maintaining a positive outlook on life requires no more effort than it takes to go around with a negative attitude. And that positive approach will bring much more value, meaning and fulfillment to your life.Staying positively focused requires no special skills or resources or position. All it takes is a choice. All it takes is the conscious choice to break away from the burdensome habit of negativity. It is a choice you can make right now, and in every moment that follows.Make that choice, and your limiting fears will be overwhelmed by purposeful determination. Make that choice, and your most difficult challenges will become your greatest opportunities.Living with a positive focus is just as easy as spending your precious time immersed in negativity. And it's a whole lot more enjoyable, too.Be Blessed, Terri
