Hello my fellow BBWO's.  I was wondering who would be interested in "tweeting" someones website link with a brief msg and placing a "RT" at the end of the post so that others can retweet the link?   This will only work for those with a twitter account.  If you are interested please either respond to this post or "inbox" me that you are interested.  This way we can get others promoted as well as our selves.  I believe this will be a win, win situation for everyone involved.

Here is an example of how it would work:  You will pick a min of 1 persons website and post it to twitter with a comment about the site, including the site link and "RT" at the end of the post.  Then encourage your twitter follows to RT your post.  The person that mentions your site in their tweet that is a member of BBWO is the person that you will RT in your own tweet.

You’ve joined a network marketing company….Now What? Wait for the sales and recruits to start piling up, right? WRONG!! It is not going to happen. Your upline is seeing great success, some of your team members are seeing great success, why aren’t you? The non-sugar coated answer would be that it is ALL YOUR FAULT!! Plain and simple. I know that you may be telling yourself that you are doing all that you can to succeed in your business, but are you really? Are you really taking all of the necessary steps to get where you want to be or are you only half-stepping and expecting to reap the full benefits? First of all let me tell you this….. Never base your expectations on anyone else within your organization. You will be disappointed every time. You cannot compare yourself to others especially those that you see doing extremely well in your industry. You should look to them for inspiration and encouragement and not as competition or comparison.As a new network marketer it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to gain as much knowledge about your company, its products and services as you possibly can. How can you sell something that you know nothing about? How can you develop a passion for something that you yourself don’t understand? You can’t!! You should be a regular consumer of your products. Then and only then will you understand them, relate to them and be able to help others understand and relate to them. This is when your personal organization (your downline) will begin to take lasting shape.Sure, for some it can be easy to initially explode in the business without any real knowledge, but soon the flame will fizzle. I see it often in this industry, you have those that do absolutely amazing. Above and beyond what any others are doing in the company and then before you know it, they are back to square one. Don’t be one of those people. Build your foundation on solid ground from the beginning.If you have joined a company that you really believe in, why wouldn’t you give your all? Didn’t you join the company for specific reasons to begin with? More time, financial freedom, funding your retirement, etc. Whatever the case may be, remember that none of that is going to happen without your full undivided attention to your goals and expectations.Everyone is different. Find YOUR niche. Don’t depend on others to work your business and hold your hand the entire way. Sure your upline should always be available to help you, but that is not always a reality. More often than not, we are left to figure it out on our own. Use the resources and tools available to you. The internet is an excellent source for information about absolutely anything. Take full advantage of it. Your company website should also have tools, resources, tutorials, etc. to help you.Ask yourself a few questions like….. Have you established a clear goal? Have you set goals that are within your reach? What is it that you’re comfortable with? How can you more effectively work your business for maximum results? What knowledge do you need? Whose help do you need? What system should be in place? These are just a few questions that should be addressed. Don’t leave your success to chance. Be active and watch your dreams begin to take flight.

The best tip to creating the best life is very simple.  I know many people want a 500 page book with illustrations to teach them this very secret but there is no need.  All you need to do is to treat everyone you meet, each encounter, every friend and aquaitance the way you would like to be treated. 

For instance, do you want to be loved and respected? Of course, the answer is yes.  Operating in love and respect begets love and respect from everyone around you.  These are two very important questions that are a must!

On the May 23rd Successful Woman Radio Show, we discussed the topic "Letting Go of Negative Baggage".  We had a great response to the topic and I wanted to share it with you on BBWO.

Intro

 Areas of our life that can cause us to hold on to negative baggage can include:

•  Childhood experiences
• Words of the Naysayers
• Negative Environments
• Negative Self-Talk
• Past Business Failures

I define negative baggage as any experience, self-talk, or habit that is emotionally and negatively contributing to your life.  Negative baggage can take away from your life's abundance rather than contributing to it.

From my own personal experience, I know that if you don't rid yourself of negative baggage, it can grow and fester in your life and prevent you from being the wealthy woman, the woman of abundance that you truly desire to be.

When we hold on to negative beliefs and experiences they plant themselves in our sub-conscious mind and conflict with the conscious mind, which is where we generate our dreams and goals.  It is when this conflict occurs that we experience self-doubt, procrastination, self-sabotage and other self-defeating actions that have no place in the mind of a woman who's seeking success in all areas of her life.

The solution is to rid yourself of habits, people, places and things that have been negatively impacting your life, so you can move forward to be the woman of purpose that you desire.

Below are 8 Ways to Eliminate Negative Baggage:

1. Admit that you have baggage that's contributing negatively in your life.
2. Learn about the power of your sub-conscious mind.
3. Be Willing to Let Go! 
4. Set Boundaries or Signals for Yourself.
5. Work on How You Think!
6. Hold a Let It Go Ceremony!
7. Practice the Power of Positive Thinking. 
8. Practice the Rubber Band Method! Place a rubber band around your wrist and snap yourself each time you think negatively or find yourself in a negative environment.  After each snap, replace your thought with a positive affirmation or solution.

Let's face it, everyone has probably experienced carrying around negative baggage in their life.  However, if you want to achieve your dreams and goals and experience mental wealth, it has to go!

When the going gets tough...the tough gets going, right? At least that is what I have always been told. Unfortunately I rarely get to witness it. Yeah I said it. OVERWHELMED! Let's face it, we all deal with this at some point in our lives. Being overwhelmed or feeling overwhelmed. There are so many factors of building a business that can be overwhelming or seem like too much to handle. Here are 3 ways to keep yourself from being overwhelmed or get out of your overwhelm-ing-ness

Step 3- did I say, FOCUS?

Last week, my husband decided to purchase a new couch for our living room. We are moving into a new house soon but I didn't expect him to start buying furniture anytime soon! Anyhow, he starts sending me pictures of all of these couches and living room sets that he liked and thought I'd like and I almost threw my phone across the room! I appreciate him trying to take initiative, use his time off wisely, and make a purchase for our family, but the thought and process of choosing a couch set via text message pictures made me really overwhelmed and I couldn't handle it! There were so many pictures coming in, I had students in front of me (I'm a teacher by hobby :)), and I just couldn't FOCUS on what he was asking me. Eventually, I just asked him to find out what the return policy was, what their weekend hours were, and asked him to choose one he liked (If I don't like it, I can return it later).

Compare this to your business. If you are always looking at what others are doing, have so many business ideas that you start and stop on, then you are not FOCUSed. There's no way you could be successful with so many OTHER things going on. You need to chose. In my book, The Motivator (coming this summer!), I share that you should write down the actual hours you are going to work your business during the week and stick to them! Having a set amount of daily working hours will help you to not get so overwhelmed.

I mentioned earlier, "looking at what others are doing": If you were privileged enough to experience the twitter party this weekend, you saw or read information about so many different business people. Which was so cool to see. (Hat's off to LaShanda Henry of Black Business Women Online...mybbwo.com) However, if you are not FOCUSed in your business, still trying to figure out what services you're going to offer, then that might have been a little overwhelming for you. You were probably the one looking at everyone's website, getting ideas of what you want to do, then seeing someone else's website and seeing something ELSE you want to do, and eventually having too many ideas to choose from (don't get me wrong, it is always nice to check out other peoples websites to support them and refer people to them, but stay focused on what you are trying to do)!

Here are some things you need to do, in order to find your niche in business: First, you need to take the B.A.T. (Business Aptitude Test: determines what type of business would best for your personality type). This test will help you decide what you would most enjoy doing, if you could FIRE YOUR BOSS tomorrow! Second, you need to find a business coach ( I know a great one offering a FREE introductory consultation that can help, ME!). A business coach can help you create a business plan and hold you accountable for sticking to the plans. Once you have these two steps done, you will be on your way to success.

Remember the old saying, "time is money". So you are losing out when you are wasting time and distracted by other peoples websites and services You are losing out when you are wasting time and doing things in your free time OTHER than working your business. You are losing out when you are not FOCUSED on your goals for building a successful business. Remember, "when you are not focused, you fail".

Rebuilding trust is not easy but it can be done.

Trust is needed in all types of relationships. Especially in marriage.

If the trust has been damaged and you want to restore the relationship consider these 3 simple steps.

1. Communicate your feelings with your spouse. When restoring trust, everyday will not be a cakewalk. Matter fact, in the beginning most days will be extremely difficult.Tell him when you are having a flashback and you are mad,angry or upset.

2. Deal with the real issue. Why did they do what they did?  Listen and do not be defensive. The truth hurts. It will sting at first but your relationship will become stronger in the long run.

3. Give yourself time. We did not learn how to run until we mastered walking. We did not learn how to walk before we crawled. Rebuilding trust takes time. One step at a time and one day at a time.

How can we take business wherever we go? Not many of us can actually work at home or in the office. Sometimes we need to be working while in a taxi, while driving, while on a plane, while having lunch, while sleeping..? Yeah some people do work in their sleep. It’s possible.

A good way to work on the go is for one to have a small companion to help you access the internet, email etc. Ahhhh yes, the cellphone or the laptop, ipad as well. All of these items can help you work on the go.

Most phones allow you to get on the internet to work. You can carry your laptop and work at lunch, on the train in a taxi, anywhere that has access to the internet. You can answer and respond to emails from your phone while walking. Who would have thought the world would be this way 50 years ago? But it’s easy to work on the go.

Another way, cheap way to work on the go is to write on the go. Bring notebooks, pens etc with wherever you go to write down thoughts for a presentation, project, assignment. So when you get back to theoffice you can easily refer to your notes and get started.

It’s so easy to work on the go. Don’t get discouraged when you have errands to run and can’t be in the office all day to
work. Make things easy for you and find ways to work on the go!

One of word of advice: Be sure to slow down just a bit to sleep and eat!
