Johnson (9)

I had been being becoming annoyed with a lot of my female clients lately and I didn't know why. Checking out this Forbes post made it clear to me why I was feeling the way I was feeling. It was because to me they were seeming to constantly be apologizing.

Yes the "I'm Sorry" syndrome. I would imagine it comes from our cultures emphasis on being polite. "You don't want to be rude"; "You don't want to be an inconvience"; "Don't be a burden"; "Speak Only When Spoken To." All of these concepts would lead women to be more apologetic then men.

In her article:

Why Are Women Always Apologizing

Ruchika Tulshyan mentions the Confidence Gap. It seems that :"The commercial also comes at a time when there’s much talk about a confidence gap that holds women back from succeeding at work. Indeed, over-apologizing could be feeding into this. In an Atlantic article “The Confidence Gap,” the authors state: “A lack of confidence informs a number of familiar female habits. Take the penchant many women have for assuming the blame when things go wrong, while crediting circumstance—or other people—for their successes. (Men seem to do the opposite.)” One way women tend to assume blame? By over-apologizing."

Hence the source of my annoyance. It's a knee jerk reaction to when you are blaming someone for something. Let me put it this way, when some does something to cause you to blaming them did they do something that pleases you or annoys you?

This is an AH HA moment for me. I've been running around all this time feeling annoyed and didn't see what was really triggering it.  I like the commercial. The only thing is don't go overboard in the opposite direction and I think that's what the last woman did when she snatches the blanket.

The objective is not to apologize for things you have no overtly apparent reason to be sorry for. You're new to marketing your going to make mistakes. You don't have to apologize for making a boo boo. Just correct it if you can or not repeat it in the future.

I know one thing, I will not say I'm sorry for Apologizing being short of patience at time. Forgive me. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Do you think Like a 98 or 2 Percenter?

10744094499?profile=original

98% of the population excuses away all their vision, their dreams, their goals, and then the next step they do is they excuse away yours.  They tell you that you’re stupid if you go after your dreams in bad economic times like this.  They lost their dreams and now they are going to try and pollute yours.

2% will encourage you to be all that you desire to be and say nothing is impossible you work hard and go for it!  That’s what 2% knows that’s what they say and that’s how they live and they’ve got the results in their life that proves it.  They aint no talk and no action they’re talk with results!   But 98% of the population gave up their dreams and are going make sure they can pollute everyone else around them and make sure they give up their dreams to.  Why?  Because when you actually go after your dreams yourself it makes them feel a little uncomfortable.  Why?  Because they realize that something was possible.  Because they realize when they see you go after it it sheds some light on them… They wonder “if”.

98% of the population destroys their dreams and destroys others dreams and 2% of the population says WOW there is a lot I wanna do!  2% of the population is not limited by their bank account.  YOU are not limited by your bank account you’re limited by your brain and your lack of understanding that your dream somebody else is living it!  Someone else found a way to do it! How they did it is they grew their income circle to finance their dreams.  That’s the difference between 98% and 2%. 98% shrinks their dreams to be just a little bigger than their income so they don’t die.

A man without a Vision WILL Perish. What’s your vision?  Is your vision just big enough to pay off debt?  Is that all you wanna do is make ends meet??  If your vision isnt worthy of you getting out of bed every morning then your vision isn’t big enough.  If your vision isn’t big enough to get you over your biggest fears then your vision isn’t big enough.  If your vision isn’t big enough to cause other people to want to follow you with it then your vision isn’t big enough. If your vision is about You making Money then it isn’t big enough.  You better spend some time growing your vision. What is it?  Where you going?  If you don’t know where you’re going no one else can follow you.  They already know how to go no where!!!

People are starting home based Hair Weave business due to this company

by Rickey Johnson - Juniques Multi Cultural Connections- 9 Jan 2013

The company; Micore International

Hello, I am an independent consultant with Micore International (http://www.jussuccess.com )

Hair Weave is a billion dollar industry. The demand for hair extensions and enhancements make
up a large part of consumer purchase from the ethnic consumer. It is projected that there will approximately 119.7 million ethnic consumers by 2014.

Ironically,African-American women
make up a large part of that consumption, yet, are not the providers of hair extension products.

( visit http://www.jussuccess.com to view company and product)

The hair extension industry is made up of manufacturer, Distributor, Retailer, and consumer.

For decades, it has been very difficult to enter the hair business as a distributor or retailer,
due to limited access to product and very high business start up cost. The hair extension industry
is not showing any signs of slowing down and actually creating product supply opportunities.

This growing Hair extension industry, has open the greatest opportunity for business expansion, for those who want to capture it.

One company answering that "opportunity call" is
Micore International. This company provides distributorships to anyone who want to offer
hair extensions to the retail public and save on their own personal purchase.

For $19.95 a person can open their distributorship and be in business, that same day.

( visit http://www.jussuccess.com to view company and product)

Micore International also offer online training for those who want to become skilled at this new and growing hair enhancement and replacement opportunity.

You are welcome to explore the opportunity Micore International is offering by

You’ve joined a network marketing company….Now What? Wait for the sales and recruits to start piling up, right? WRONG!! It is not going to happen. Your upline is seeing great success, some of your team members are seeing great success, why aren’t you? The non-sugar coated answer would be that it is ALL YOUR FAULT!! Plain and simple. I know that you may be telling yourself that you are doing all that you can to succeed in your business, but are you really? Are you really taking all of the necessary steps to get where you want to be or are you only half-stepping and expecting to reap the full benefits? First of all let me tell you this….. Never base your expectations on anyone else within your organization. You will be disappointed every time. You cannot compare yourself to others especially those that you see doing extremely well in your industry. You should look to them for inspiration and encouragement and not as competition or comparison. As a new network marketer it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to gain as much knowledge about your company, its products and services as you possibly can. How can you sell something that you know nothing about? How can you develop a passion for something that you yourself don’t understand? You can’t!! You should be a regular consumer of your products. Then and only then will you understand them, relate to them and be able to help others understand and relate to them. This is when your personal organization (your downline) will begin to take lasting shape.Sure, for some it can be easy to initially explode in the business without any real knowledge, but soon the flame will fizzle. I see it often in this industry, you have those that do absolutely amazing. Above and beyond what any others are doing in the company and then before you know it, they are back to square one. Don’t be one of those people. Build your foundation on solid ground from the beginning. If you have joined a company that you really believe in, why wouldn’t you give your all? Didn’t you join the company for specific reasons to begin with? More time, financial freedom, funding your retirement, etc. Whatever the case may be, remember that none of that is going to happen without your full undivided attention to your goals and expectations.Everyone is different. Find YOUR niche. Don’t depend on others to work your business and hold your hand the entire way. Sure your upline should always be available to help you, but that is not always a reality. More often than not, we are left to figure it out on our own. Use the resources and tools available to you. The internet is an excellent source for information about absolutely anything. Take full advantage of it. Your company website should also have tools, resources, tutorials, etc. to help you.Ask yourself a few questions like….. Have you established a clear goal? Have you set goals that are within your reach? What is it that you’re comfortable with? How can you more effectively work your business for maximum results? What knowledge do you need? Whose help do you need? What system should be in place? These are just a few questions that should be addressed. Don’t leave your success to chance. Be active and watch your dreams begin to take flight.

How to relax on a tight budget

How to relax on a tight budgetWe all need a break away from all the stress at work and not to mention the husband and kids. Being a mom, wife, cook, driver, gardener, cleaners, maid and don’t forget being a business professional is hard work and you need time to relax. You must take time for your self. When you are taking time for yourself you become a better mom, wife, and friend. When you are on a tight budget it’s hard to find $100 just to blow on fun with friends, but this cannot be an excuse. You have to strive to budget $150.00 a month for you to relax and not for your family fun time. Don’t make any excuses like little Johnny needs extra lunch money for the week or my husband needs a new briefcase. Let your husband use that same briefcase until there’s a holiday or when you need a birthday gift to buy. Making excuses is the beginning of your failure to meet the goal of relaxation.Being a mom we are nurturers by design and we always put our self last. For one day a month we have to push that aside and think of ourselves. Explain to your husband and family that you will be taking some me time out for your self each month. Also explain to hubby that negotiated in this agreement is that the kids and the house are his responsibility for the day. Now ladies, let me prep you on line of defense number one that will surely come from your husband. He will say, there’s no way I can make it without you. It may not be in those exact words but it will be in some derivative of it. You rebuttal should be to simply tell him that he will also be getting something out of it. You will become a much better person to be around.Taking time out for your self can be cheap. A few things you can do are:1) Get a 30min. massage. Massages are my favorite as they are a great stress reliever. You can also catch up on old times by having a friend join you for the massage. You can create friends night out spa party and invite all of your friends.2) Go to the park and feed the birds and fish for free, assuming that you already have the bread at home. Just being by your self can relieve a lot of stress.3) Take a drive around the town to clear your mind.4) Get a gym membership which runs you about $30 a month. Look out for specials here in Nashville where you can join for $1.00. Working out at your local gym is a great way to trim up and relax. These are just a few ideas that could help you stay healthy and have a balanced life. It’s imperative that you take time for your self. If nothing else lock your self in your room with a huge bowl of fruit and your favorite movie or book.Author Erica Johnson is a mother and wife that focuses on healing the body mind and soul.
