As women entrepreneurs, we all know how crucial it is to work on ourselves in the area of personal development. We all see people who are very successful in the same business that we are in, yet we seem to be stuck and struggling. I myself know what this is like. The problem is not the business, but in ourselves. The truth is, all of us need a personal development plan; a plan that we work on day in and day out. While we may not seen results right away, consistent action will bring positive results.Have you ever considered doing a 30 Day Mental Cleanse? You might be asking what are we talking about? Too often we let things into our minds that should not be there and it hinders our progress. The best way to get your mind focused is to clean it up with what it should have. Think of it like rebooting your hard drive. We have found this process to be more effective when people can do this together and share the result. What are you going to get? By joining this 30-day cleanse, we will send you ebook(s) to read and have weekly calls associated with this specific 30-day mental cleanse to assist you along the way. All that is required by you is your commitment to doing the program. If you are ready to become the right kind of person, then complete the form below. You will be sent the full instructions and Michael & Linda will keep in touch with you by email as well as myself and on the weekly calls. If this is something that interests you, go to http://www.30daycleanse.com/All of this personal development training is free and will be a tremendous asset to your personal development plan.Let me know if you join up.I wish you success,Monique540-858-2885Skype: Monique371mentormonique@gmail.com

Sweet, simple and to the point. I enjoy reading, writing and politics. Strange combination you say, yeah. But it works for me. Doing the self-publishing thing at the moment and learning so much from those who have been in the industry for a while. Thanks to all of you that is sharing your knowlege and expreinces with others. It is so appreciated. Seems like I'm spending more time trying to market the novels than wirting and I truly miss that. But as someone once told me, no one can sell you like you --so get your a-- moving. And I did and the sells took off. We are about to do the second printing of Once You've Touched The Heart (just think six months ago I had no idea what a print run was & I still may be using the phrase incorrectly) any hooo, I'm very excited about that. The next novel The Heart of Him is being edited as we speak and will be released in Sept (we hope). Oh way, that's up to me, I'm running things. That's the upside to self-publishing. The downside is selecting a printer, an editor, page designer, cover designer, distributor - let's see what else - oh yeah - PUBLICITY - PUBLICITY -PUBLICITY. Does it sound like I'm losing my mind? Sometimes I feel like I am, but then I start writing and remember why I began this journey at this stage in my life -- it's my passion. Any one that writes romance knows passion cannot be ignored. Okay I'll stop rambaling now. But before I go I want to thank a few people - Victoria Wells - thanks for sharing - LaConnie Taylor-Jones - thanks for the advice - Loretta Wells - thanks for coming out and supporting another sister from Richmond - Cyndi Rex for the encouraging words a few years ago (check these authors out when you get a moment)-- my family for putting up with missed meals, a dirty house and reduction in household funds (I'll make it back, promise) and God, for waking me up each day to do something I enjoy.Much Luv to each of you until the next time.Iris

Have you ever been in a state of all surrender? Surrendering to all that God has for you? I feel like i am in a state of of "Yes" It is like waking up in the morning and your mind is set for 100% yieldness (is that even a word? LOL). Once you say "Yes" there is no turning back, except to leave behind the past..truely let go and move on. To me saying "Yes" means letting go of the past completely, leaving the old behind, and truly moving toward what the future has in store for me. I am learning that change is good, especially if it causes you to be better and stronger. I believe change is a must in order to succeed and use the gifts and talents that I have been so graciously blessed with. It is a good thing to know that I am stepping into the calling that God has for my life. So I say "Yes" to change.I am fully aware that saying "yes" involves tremendous growth..., so I say "yes" to growth. I want to grow and evolve into all that God has fashioned me to be. I believe that true growth will take place over a lifetime and I am okay with the process. The refining process will illuminate a brighter and better me..and that is all good with me.

Well, ladies, I've got a real life marketing story for you. First, to clarify how I usually roll with the family: when we go out, whether it be grocery shopping or mall walking, we go out as a brood, meaning it's DH and my three little kidlets. Usually I'm so busy herding, nudging, refereeing and trying to shop that I don't take much notice of people around me, nor do I have the mind to chat/talk about my business. However, my wonderful husband, who has supported me wholeheartedly throughout my endeavor, talked briefly with the cashier at a shoe store, who noticed the slight eczema on my daughter's legs. She mentioned that her daughter also had eczema and of course my husband started talking to her about my products. The cashier and I talk briefly, I give her a card and it's over. I go home thinking, gee, I wish I had been able to give her a sample...A week later, I'm perusing the shoe website at home to purchase sandals for my two boys, because they didn't have the style I liked at the store. So guess what? You can have the shoes shipped free to the store...and I had them shipped to the store where the woman worked. (Yes, I'm a stalker.) We go out to the store, I (by myself) go in to pick up the shoes, and this time, I've got a sample. Hand over the sample, a few new cards, some chit chat and hopefully, I've got a new client. Please let this be encouragement to those of you who may travel everywhere with your children. (I love my little'uns, and take 'em everywhere with me and DH.) Keep cards and samples (if that's your biz) on you because you never know who you might see......but you all ready knew that, right? :)(And my daughter is my best advertisement when I tell people her skin used to be rough to the touch and scarred with scratching. Her legs aren't perfect, and there is slight scarring, but let me tell you, they look and feel so much better than they used to.)

Developmental Aid Workers Are Killing AfricaBy Thilo ThielkeNo one has to starve in Africa. Hunger there results from the failures of unscrupulous rulers -- and their friends in the West. Paradoxically, it is the aid workers who are standing in the way of progress.moreRead more…
My hair turned out nice. Thanks to Dudley's hair products. I am. however going to get it done by a professional stylist at the Dudley Salon here in Greensboro, NC.I spent time today for myself. I actually got my brows and toes done. I have got to use this Dudley's Brush on Brow to fill them in but other than that I got dressed up and went out with my 2 year old princess paying bills this morning.I deposited a check in my account and was shocked to see how much money I had saved up. I was so happy that I gave a homeless man some money and a bottle of cold water. You have to share your blessings.I took my daughter home and then went out shopping for myself and daughter. (My husband likes to shop for our son) So I had to get some sunglasses. The sales lady told me that the shades were on clearance. WOW blessings do come right back around. So now I am back home and about to relax. God is Great. . . all of the time.http://www.vjones.dudleycosmetics.com beauty advisor 5066http://www.spot-tv.com

I got this in my email this morning. You should know that ifs its happening with this cruise line, it will happen with them all******************************************************************************************Because of the continued rapid escalation of fuel prices, six of Carnival Corporation & plc’s brands, including Princess Cruises and Cunard Line, will increase their current fuel supplement from $7 to $9 (USD) per person per day. The fuel supplement for third and fourth passengers will increase from $2 to $4 (USD) per person per day.The new fuel supplement will apply to all new bookings effective June 12, 2008. The fuel supplement will not exceed $126 per person per voyage for the first and second passengers, and $56 per person per voyage for the third and fourth passengers in a stateroom. For bookings made from April 21, 2008 to June 11, 2008, the current fuel supplement of $7 (USD) per person for the first two passengers, and $2 (USD) per person per day for the third and fourth passengers will apply. We regret having to take this action, but fuel price increases have continued, and we now find it necessary to implement a modest increase in the supplement. Please remember that all of your bookings made on or before June 11, 2008 will not be subject to the supplement increase.

Germans Celebrate Obama In Special Way That They Don’t UnderstandHa ha, here is some great newspaper from Nazi Germany that comically names the White House “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” because a slave may soon call it home. This is very offensive, according to the Internet, and of course we all know why: what a nasty way to detract from Obama’s writing skill, by comparing it to Harriet Beecher Stowe’s! Have you actually *read* Uncle Tom’s Cabin? For the whole story go to AndyClyde's RiveRun ForumRead more…

I upload numerous posts to my blog each week. Some get lots of comments while others, well let's just say there's an echo. Sometimes, people prefer to send me private emails, all of which I read and enjoy because they help me know what matters to you so I can focus my blogging efforts on things that you will most enjoy and benefit from. Thanks for the love!Beginning this month, I'm starting to share the most popular blog posts from the prior month. This will be a great way for me to monitor and summarize popular topics, and you can also use the information to decide what to write about at your blog. Summarizing popular posts also allows me to highlight the most popular posts for people who are too busy (and I know that's everyone ...) to read a new post each time it's added. Here are the 3 most popular Indie Business Blog posts of May 2008, based on comments and discussion here and at other social sites where I cross post.* The New Family Business: Nine Reasons Why Home-Based Business Ownership Works For Parents. This post seemed to really hit a nerve with young women who are considering marriage and family. I think more and more young parents will see business ownership as a necessity, not an option.* Indie Confidential: Prepare For 5 Indie Business Pitfalls. This post covers things that most business experts don't comment much on. The most popular aspect of this post seemed to revolve around my common that, in business, "your spouse or significant other may not support you." Ouch.* Who to Follow On Twitter: If Susie Asked You To Jump Off a Bridge, Would You? This post is all about how to use Twitter efficiently and effectively. Who wants to follow Twitters who are not actually tweeting? And who wants to spend all day tweeting? Not me, and apparently not a lot of you either!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." ......Self Esteem Builds BusinessJoanie
