Making your own natural oatmeal and brown sugar body scrub is fun, simple and easy on your budget. It smells great too. Read on to learn how.Things Needed:Ground OatsMedium BowlBrown SugarAloe VeraLemon juice1. Place 2 tbsp. of ground oatmeal in a medium bowl. Oatmeal is hypoallergenic and full of amino acids that nourish and moisturize the skin. Oatmeal is perfect for people with sensitive skin, as it is a natural anti-inflammatory; it gently exfoliates and cleans, and soothes dry itchy skin.2. Measure 2 tbsp. of brown sugar and add it to the bowl. Brown sugar contains a number of the finest oils from all over the world, and for that reason it is used as a natural moisturizer in many skin care products. Brown sugar will rejuvenate skin while gently removing dead skin cells.3.Add 2 tbsp. of aloe vera to your scrub mix. Aloe vera is famous for it's burn soothing effects, but it is also a gentle cleansing agent and moisturizer. Be sure that you purchase 100 percent aloe vera gel or squeeze the aloe directly from a live plant.4. Squeeze in 1 tsp. of lemon juice. Lemon is a natural gentle astringent that will help to clear and refine pores and eliminate acne without over drying the skin. If you have oily skin, add an extra tsp. of lemon juice to the mix.5. I've always wanted to be a SAHM . Well 2008 comes and I have this precious 9 pounder to love. There were different projects in our favor but they just haven't came through yet. I had support from my original supervisor that I could work from home when my baby was born but that failed through when my new supervisor came along. I remember coming home and balling my eyes out to the Lord. I couldn't worship or praise Jesus on my own so I turned on some music. I received comfort in Him that night but as many of us know we always have to lean on the Lord every step of the way.I began to pull on the Lord. I was not letting Him go until He blessed me like Jacob in Genesis. As I was praying to search for my miracle I began to get more intimate with God. Instead of searching for my breakthrough I started searching for Jesus more and more.Have you ever looked for something particular but received a greater blessing than what you were looking for?That was me. I’ve been in the Word, been in His presence, searched for God about something whether it be family, future, finances, relationships, or just Him. But how many of you know God is the Alpha and Omega? He’s the beginning and the end? He’s so awesome you can’t contain Him. So we will always learn who He is.As I was enjoying God and interceding/praying for others the beauty supply idea came to me again. I talked to my mother about it and she encouraged me to get connected with a guy in Indy who was doing what I wanted to do. So I did and he informed me with how much he started with and what not. And I shared with my mother and husband I want to start with this certain amount of money to begin my business.Months have passed and I’m still enjoying who God is. He’s the author and finisher of my faith. Thank God I’m not able to write my own faith b/c I would’ve been stuck on the first letter. LolWell my Hubby and I entered the church one day for service and a precious saint comes to me and says, Can I talk to you for a moment? I said sure. She said this person wanted to be anonymous but the Lord put it on their heart to give you a certain amount of money. Now this is serious money so you hold on to it. My heart just melted. My eyes swelled up, I was speechless. My thought was God you heard me but you didn’t have to but you did. And not only you heard me but you responded. She just looked at me and said okay this is confirmation to you. I just nodded my head b/c I couldn’t say anything.When I opened that envelope it was the exact amount I told my mother & husband I would need to start my business!Jesus is Real! He is alive and well and if you just open your heart to Him, He will fulfill it! I am a witness of His hand touching me.

In my research, one of the errors with student loans is duplicated loans. Years ago, prior to the wake of Identify Theft, most of the student loan ACCOUNT numbers were with your social security number.Let me give you an example. Let's say you opened an account in 2000. Your account number was your social security number. Therefore, whenever you applied for CREDIT, your social security number was on you credit report with the SS#.Around 2004, Sallie Mae and others decided to protect YOU, and changed all your ACCOUNT numbers to a NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER. When this change happened, you ended up with the old account (SS#) and then a new account. Thus, having two accounts reporting on your file. In reality, you should have ONE loan.How does a duplicated account affect you? Well, the FICO SCORE, takes into consideration the # of installment acccounts, when it pulls your score.Take a look even further. Lets say you have four loans, Well, now you have EIGHT showing on your file, when it should only be four.How does this affect your ability to apply and get approved for a loan. Well, if your payment amount(DEBT) is $100.00 dollars a month on ONE loan. It would reflect that you are paying $200.00 dollars a month. This means not only is the duplicate account wrong but you DEBT RATIO is wrong.When your DEBT RATIO IS WRONG. Your appear to be in alot of DEBT, when you really are not.DEBT RATION IS CRITICAL WHEN BUYING A HOUSE, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BE IN A CERTAIN PERCENT. WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW THE SEVEN OR TEN YEAR LAW OF REPORTING

Since there are so many mistakes that may be on your file, having an old copy can help you years down the road. Why? This is the only way you can prove HOW old a bill really is. If the account was on an old collection 5 or 7 years ago, the account still may be on your file. Did you know that collection companies will still try to COLLECT, pass the seven year law that allows certain accounts to be on you file?Have you received calls from a bill collector for a bill that happen years ago? Or do you receive mail from an old bill that happen years ago? Why are they still trying to collect? Well, they want you to pay what you may owe.They key here is knowing the reporting laws. Why pay an account that is not suppose to be on your FILE?The information above is for collection accounts NOT judgements, liens, etc. The laws are different for these type of accounts. However, you want to KNOW how long any account is suppose to report to your file.Always know the DATE OF LAST ACTIVITY ON ALL YOUR BAD ACCOUNTS. This is the date that starts the seven year or ten year reporting rule.Good luck, and I hope this helped you out. So how scared should we be?That depends on whom you ask. Officials at the CDC and the WHO have emphasized that while the swine flu situation is serious, they're responding with an abundance of precautions. Even Osterholm, who has been highly critical of the U.S. government's long-term failures to better prepare for a pandemic, gives the CDC a 9 out of 10 for its response so far. Outside of Mexico, the swine flu hasn't looked too serious yet - unlike during the SARS outbreaks of 2003, when an entirely new virus with no obvious treatment took the world by surprise. In the U.S., the normal flu season is winding down, which should make it easier for public-health officials to pick out swine flu cases from run-of-the-mill respiratory disease. And there are simple things that people can do to protect themselves, like practicing better hygiene (wash hands frequently and cover mouth and nose when sneezing) and staying away from public places or traveling if they feel sick. "There's a role for everyone to play when an outbreak is ongoing," said Besser.But the truth is that every outbreak is unpredictable, and there's a lot we don't know yet about the new swine flu. There hasn't been a flu pandemic for more than a generation, and there hasn't been a truly virulent pandemic since long before the arrival of mass air transit. We're in terra incognito here. Panic would be counterproductive - especially if it results in knee-jerk reactions like closing international borders, which would only complicate the public-health response. The Decline Of Black Radio

Managing editor, Bruce Dixon points out how the corporatization of Black radio has silenced the voice of the Black community.When the Tom Joyner Morning Show was pulled first from Chicago, and then from other markets early this month, Joyner counseled listeners that "...black radio will never be what it once was, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it."This message of powerlessness and permanent defeat, of resignation to someone else, owning and controlling the black conversation, may be all we can expect from Joyner and the rest of the black elite.But is it the real answer? Does it even address the crucial question of how we might have and own, our own black civic conversation? Dixon goes on to say; Community and democracy demand a steady diet of news to fuel civic engagement and public conversation in the public interest.As the Black Agenda Report, pointed out all of six years ago in 'Who Killed Black Radio News,” the owners of commercial black media have for a generation enforced a no-news policy, justifying it with the unsupportable claim that all black people want is to be entertained."The fact is that news is less profitable than 100% entertainment. PR firms and the celebrity industries provide their own “news” releases complete with commercial tie-ins, and already segmented to the age and income divided groups that marketers love. Black radio owners decided not to do news because corporate media has consciously decided not to recognize African Americans as a people or a polity with our own set of collective experience and political will.In a media regime that lives and dies by advertising alone, black commercial radio will only recognize black communities as marketing contraptions, as audience segments whose ears and eyeballs it can deliver to sponsors. The owners and managers of commercial black radio and TV are not the least concerned about our past or future, our housing or health care crises, the black imprisonment rate or the digital divide or the education of our young or the dignified security of our elderly.To them we are just a market, passive consumers to be sliced and diced according to marketing industry guidelines. A hip hop station, an oldies station, an easy listening urban station, a gospel station, all under the same ownership with no news on any of them, forever and ever, amen.If this is what Joyner meant, and we think it was, when he described the current state of black commercial radio, he was right. Except the “forever' part.
