I hope that you all had an amazing holiday season, and now it's the beginning of a new year; and with this year coming up, a lot of things are changing. The banks are gonna be loosening up on funding. So there's more opportunities. More real estate is gonna be coming on the market for those that are real estate investors. A lot of things are gonna start easing up for you to have the opportunity to grow your business and to get access to capital to help fund the business. So in this video, what I wanna do, I wanna talk about the three things that you do not want to ever share with your banker when you're trying to borrow money. Okay. And the first one we're talking about for business loan rejection key points.

And that first key point is, when you go to a bank and they ask you, "What do you wanna use the money for?" You do not wanna respond you wanna make use of the money for a business venture, or a real estate opportunity. The reason is, you sound like a gambler. Because you sound like you wanna take their money, and see if you have the opportunity to make profits, and then come back and pay them. You don't never sound like a gambler, when you're trying to borrow money. So never use these terms in explaining why you need money. And those terms are, you do not wanna say that you're looking into a business venture, or a real estate opportunity. This is just a poor way of communicating why you need money for your business or for your start-up. So this is Houston with Business Credit America. This is our first key point. How to discharge student loans in bankruptcy?

When you’re trying to discharge a student loan in bankruptcy, you need to know which student loans are dischargeable.  There’s a difference between a federal student loan, federal student loan serviced by a private student loan, and a private student loan?

A federal student loan is issued by the federal government and serviced by the federal government.  They have a lower interest rate and the federal government usually can forgive the balance of the loan if you are not able to make the payments. 

Now the federal student loans that are serviced by private lenders have been recalled by the federal government because the private servicer were not being flexible with the borrower with their payment plans.  Which also cause the borrower to default as well as taint the borrower credit.

The third type of student loan is from private lenders, such as Sallie Mae, Citibank, Wells Fargo, bank of America, and Navient, which is a subsidiary of Sallie Mae.  When these private lenders issue student loans they do not have the federal government protection, so those loans are treated like a regular personal loan.  Which also means that these lenders make up their own rules when issuing loan and collecting on them.  They can increase the interest rates, if you miss a payment, they’ll send you collections, file the insurance claim get your student loan paid off and then force you to may them too.

Early on in my business, I was a human tornado (in some ways I still am, but much more strategic and controlled now), I was so excited about my business and the impact it would make on people that I constantly was doing "something" every single day to bring awareness to my business and why it is so "awesome".  

It became very clear to me once I found myself worn-out, exhausted stretched but not any more profitable when I began, that there is a difference between  "BUSY-ACTIVITY" and "BUSY PROFIT-GENERATING Activity"

BUSY-WORK-ACTIVITY is what alot of business people do in the very beginning or it's an easy trap to fall into at some point in the first 5 years or so of being self-employed. It's when you realize the excitement of your business but underestimated how much work it would take to truly promote, advertise and market your products and services. True there takes time for momentum to build in your business so every business has to be in a state of alot activity that may not product immediate return but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about creating so much activity that it never reaps any return in the long run.

Common examples of "BUSY-WORK-ACTIVITY":

  • Not treating social media time the same as face-to-face networking (you wouldn't linger at a networking event for hours and hours would you?)
  • Checking and responding to every single e-mail as soon as you receive it instead of carving out time to check those that resort in new profit opportunities (I'm still at times guilty of this)
  • Checking email and voice mails as soon as you wake up in the morning, before you have breakfast or
  • Your networks are based on your personal needs and not the needs of your business
  • You spend a ton of time each month on tasks that can be delegated to someone else while you focus on generating new revenue streams (I'm talking about your EP-Entrepreneur Personality)
  • Spending TOO much time researching and networking - there comes a time when the next step simply just needs to be ACTION!
  • and I could go on...

But I think you get my point,

1. Follow my D.E.T.O.X steps to gain new clarity. Learn to get rid of the unnecessary noise and gain new focus for yourself and business.

2. Don't fall into a Love affair with your business. Meaning it's easy to get so infatuated with the new found attention or too pulled into the power of networking that you essentially loose focus on your main goal of your business. It's always best to build quietly. You don't need ALL the attention right away especially if you are doing the business alone.

I've been on both sides of this equation. I've promoted products & programs that DO NOT have a strong marketing system and I have promoted businesses that have very strong marketing systems.  Affiliate Marketing can be simple or it can be very difficult if you dont know how to market and what products to promote.

 

Out of these two business models the winner without a question is the business WITH a high powered system. Here's why... In order to be successful in your own business you MUST have a business that is easily duplicatable for anyone. Even for people without experience!

 

The power of any system lies solely in it's ability to allow anyone and everyone to duplicate your results in the least amount of time possible.

 

Well, when you are associated with a business that does not have a strong marketing system you have to spend a great deal of time teaching and training each of your new team members how to make things work. This equated to a lot of frustration on the new team members part for having to learn everything from the ground up and a slow rate of duplication. This is NOT powerful.

 

With a high powered marketing system in which a new member can literally get started marketing the instant they join and generate success within hours or minutes of joining you have a highly duplicable system. This equates to a powerful marketing system which leaves you with the highest probability for success.

You NEED a high powered system if you want to generate success and results quickly in any business and that's just the plain and simple truth in today's fast paced world of affiliate marketing.

Who Is Gee Renee..Anyway?

Hi everyone, Gee Renee here. I wanted to post this short bio, introducing me to the BBWO community.

I was born and raised in The Bronx, NY, and am the 2nd eldest of 7 children. I have always been a trend-setter and a go-getter. I was the first to do many things in my immediate family; from breaking my leg to leaving home, to graduating from college, to getting married. I am also a born-again believer in The Lord Jesus Christ

For the past 18 years, I have been honored to be married to who I call "the greatest living Jazz Pianist", Mr. Levi Barcourt (bar-coo). Together, we have 3 beautiful children, who I know will one day leave indelible marks on this world. In addition to being a mommy and a wifey, I am also an entrepreneur.

After working in Corporate America for 16 years; 13 years ago, I was privileged to stay at home and become a full-time Momprenuer. I've owned my own baking business; worked as a church administrator, and as a network marketer. Currently, I am a first-time author, writing my first book, a baby name book, entitled, "You Were Destined To Be."

Fast Food Fat Loss Failure

Back in the nineties Fast Food companies tried to change. They tried coming out with lighter and lower fat versions of their sandwiches and tacos and everything else.Know what happened?The "healthier" versions on their menus failed miserably. And I mean miserably. They were all pulled and replaced by newer options that were bigger, fattier and more calorie laden than ever before.Seriously, they stopped pulling punches and did what any smart business should: They gave people what they wanted. And in the case of Fast Food companies that meant adding as much mayo, bacon, cheese and beef as they possibly could.That's when we started seeing the Triple Burgers and Mega Burgers and tacos wrapped in melted cheese stuck to yet another taco.And people were more than happy to gobble them all right up.I believe, fortunately, that we've come to a point where people have realized that it's all just too much. They are understanding it WILL catch up to them.Kentucky Fried Chicken has been in the news lately because they are trying a new Kentucky GRILLED Chicken. Supposedly it tastes as good as their fried version.Now I don't know if it does or doesn't. And to be honest, I don't much care. You see, the fact of the matter is when people go to Fast Food restaurants and order something "healthier" like grilled chicken they typically off set it by eating every french fry in sight. Or drinking a 64oz cola.There are better choices to be made.
