5 Ways to Create the Life You Want!

Who are you and what is it that you want out of life? These are questions that we should all seek the answers to and examine frequently. It is when we are honest about what we are feeling and what we want to experience that we can begin to live a more fulfilled life.As I experience the blessing of getting older, one of the biggest lessons I have learned is that the more authentic you are with yourself the more meaningful and joyful life becomes.My grandmother use to say, "If you live long enough you will have problems and challenges, good times and bad times". Of course, when I was younger the true meaning of that statement didn't give me an "ah-ha moment", but now that I have lived life a little longer I now welcome those wise words.Life becomes more meaningful when you know what your vision is and the choices and decisions you make are all contributing to the fulfillment of that vision. Yes, it will take hard work, persistence and a focused mind-set and you'll deal with obstacles and challenges along the way, but learning to overcome them and creating the life you want is worth it!We must learn to become authentic with ourselves by discovering who we are, what we like and what we don't like. We must be willing unveil all of our dreams and goals and love ourselves enough to embrace and accomplish them.We must stop hiding behind excuses and find the courage to create the life that we really want!Here are five ways to get started:1. Ask yourself,"What is it that I want out of life?" Sounds simple right? Well, it's not a simple question and don't be surprised if you really don't know!2. Ask yourself, "What is it that I don't want out of life?" This might be easier to answer than the first questions and can often help you with discovering what you do want.3. Write your vision. Where do you see yourself in the next 3 to 5 years? What will you be doing and experiencing? What's most important to you to accomplish in life?4. Identify the skills you will need to be successful. Personal development is the cornerstone of success and if you don't work on areas that need improvement in your life - you can't create the life you want. Commit to spending 45 minutes daily on personal development.5. Surround yourself with positive thoughts, people, places and things. "You are what you take in." The negative influences of television, friends, family and others can all have a negative impact on you and it can cause you to loose focus on what's really important in your life. Make a commit to surround yourself with things that contribute to you having a positive and joyful experience.Life really is what you make it and you have the choice to make it a joyful one or one that is full of despair, fear and mediocrity. Drive, Ambition, Self-Motivated People...Why R We So Hard to Find?

Time and time again, you hear people saying that "money is the root of all evil." Time and time again you hear people saying that "money isn't everything."Well I say if money is the root of all evil, and if money isn't everything, then what will make you happy?Most people complain that they:* are tired of not having anything* have no money* cannot afford a new car* cannot afford to send their child(ren) to private school* have no time to spend with their family* cannot afford to go on a vacation* cannot afford a home* cannot go to see the doctor, dentist plastic surgeon* cannot help others that need helpSo then I say, money is not the root of all evil, "people" are the root of all evil. It's what people do once they make the money. Also, if money isn't everything, then are you living in the area and house you want or in the one you can barely afford? Do you wake up in the morning when you are done sleeping or when the buzzer goes off,? (time to get to the plantation). Do you go window shopping at the stores you love or the local shops with the 90% off sign on the window? Do you have a private family doctor or do you go to the one your bank account says you can go to? Do you purchase good food or the one's that injected with all kinds of "junk?"Could you, at anytime you wanted to, get up and go to any vacation spot you dream of? Or is the plantation boss waiting on you bright and early tomorrow morning? What seems to me is that people with their greed and false ambitions want to always please and show off to others and are not willing to put forth some effort to make a better life for themselves. I think deep down they don't really see themselves as worthy enough to attain wealth. Like that is something other people get.I will tell you this financial freedom, if handled the right way brings you:* more time with the ones you love* help others (oh what a wonderful feeling it is to help others)* any vacation you want to go to* to live in the nicer parts of the country* choices to pick and choose the house, car, school, doctors, hair stylist, diets and stress free life anyone could wantI don't know one good reason why anyone would want to be a job slave all their lives. It sickens me to my stomach when I hear people saying that their job this, their job that. Just like stardom is not for everyone, just like happiness is not for everyone, just like not everyone has drive, ambition and passion, well not everyone is cut out to be self driven and ultimately successful (with their own business)."Money doesn't bring happiness, not at all, but it takes you on the road to it." I want the nicer things in life, because I deserve it. Not because I am a mom, a woman, sister, wife, friend, but because I work hard to achieve my goals. So I keep on moving on....

What one thing do successful entrepreneurial women practice?You've heard the quote that successful people do what unsuccessful aren't willing to do.Although their are many habits that successful women, people for that matter there is one thing that if continued will separate the doers from the thinkers.That one thing is self improvement.Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we tend tp come up with the idea of I wish I was somebody else.More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than us.You may have observed women at work, church, in department stores etc. You think to yourself, she looks so perfectly calm and confident.But if you could read thru her mind, you would see a bunch of clouds of thoughts and you might just be amazed that she's thinking are people looking at what I have on?... Why don't guys find me attractive? Or I don't like my nose, I wish it were like.... I wish I was as intelligent as my sister.The bible also speaks of loving others as you love yourself.How many people have found this hard to do only because they don't truly love themselves. The thing to remember is that you cannot give what you don't have.Allow people to see that you yourself are a representation and a product of self improvement before telling other people some ways on how to improve themselves.In my eBook The Dynamic Power of Focus I have a section that refers to "If only" and it is an important segment because all too often women spend their time focusing on the "If onlies" or excuses for why they can't accomplish given tasks and goals. I am not speaking of being arrogant or running around showing everyonehow great your are in a vain manner.For maximized empowerment and a life of substance you must invest in avenues to improve yourself.Self improvement is the virtue of acceptance and contentment. If you want to finally be free to have a life full of joy, peace and contentment, start and continue a habit of self improvement. Enrollin courses, search the internet, participate in Teleseminars. Thoughts on the Death of Peter Pan

It's been 12 days, almost to the first minute that I heard. I knew that instant; I didn't need Charlie Gibson to tell me or whoever it was that finally announced the news, confirmed what my heart already knew, that Peter Pan had died. It's been 12 days that the world has been a little darker place; twelve days since they told us that never again would we see his gentle smiling face. Twelve days I've been trying to understand how a fairy tale dies, how an unmistakable spark of magic is just ... gone. Twelve days I didn't grieve; I rejoiced. I was so happy for Michael, finally a way out; finally peace. Finally wrapped up in a love that didn't judge, love doesn't judge love as strange, as odd or perverted. So happy for Michael. Oh sadness, sadness for Paris and for Prince and for Blanket, sadness for Catherine and Janet and Jermaine, but joy for Michael.In that first moment, I thought he's finally free; they/we won't hurt him anymore; they/we won't ridicule him anymore. With wide eyed wonder he can sing and dance and embrace love, and no one will question his motives. So happy for Michael. Twelve days and today, inside of a bronze and gold box is a present from and again for heaven. I finally cried, not for Michael or his family, not even for those beautiful babies, not even for all of you. For 12 days, 12 days later I finally cried for me. I don't understand what it means when a fairy tale dies.Peter Pan must we get old? Must we forget to notice the beauty of a flower, the magic of a butterfly? Peter Pan is this world destined to be a place where a child loved is a child molested? Peter Pan? With you here... with you here we were the world. You gave us not just the unction but the courage to look in the mirror. Peter Pan, oh Peter Pan. Will Tinkerbelle cease to fly? Peter Pan won't you please, please tell me what happens when a fairy tale dies?It was our intention to publish Tuesday, but I couldn't. Talk of stamps and Ranch Records, tickets to the memorial service listed on Ebay and hustlers hawking everything, bootleg Billie Jean and cheap sequined gloves, and I just couldn't. I didn't want, didn't want Not Ur Momma's News to be part of the opportunistic onslaught. We want to share our memories and thoughts with you, but we took a step back and waited until today out of respect for a moment that was not ours. And out of respect for Michael, who always will be ours. Though your stay was far too short, we thank you for blessing us with your talent and your innocence. MALICIOUS VIRUS ATTACK

WOW!!! What an experience, after traveling for a few days with my Laptop, I came across a virus that wouldn’t allow me to open my emails and web pages. I worked on this for two days with my support team. We had no break through removing this virus off my system, I was then told I had to do a complete recovery and to save my pictures and documents. I replied “ We will work on this tomorrow”. I prayed about it and I just wouldn’t accept this solution, their had to be another way. Once again I contact, Mr. Marvin Fredlaw, and other support team members, whom had been working with me to solve this problem. Yes, the virus was still there, but not for long, finally the solution came and the virus was taken off. Yes, I was under a malicious attack and I had to fight back. I thank God for prayer and God’s anointed people who seek ways to help others when problems arise.Have you ever been under such malicious attacks?
