Wanted: Security Clearance

Do you want a Secure, High Paying Job with the Nation’s Top Government agencies or defense contractors?

According to the 2010 Security Clearance Jobs Salary Survey, nearly 60% of security-cleared professionals received an increase in compensation in the past year with California topping the list as the highest-earning place for security-cleared jobs. We already know that professionals holding security clearances enjoy salaries that are $5,000 to $10,000 more than the average employee and this survey shows that the salary continues to rise—despite our tough economic times.

It’s no surprise to find that professionals holding higher security clearance receive higher compensation and often record the greatest frequency of receiving an increase, but what I did find interesting about this survey is that 62% of respondents are satisfied with their present careers--for cleared human resources professionals, IT program managers and telecommunications engineers that job satisfaction percentage tops 70%. These statistics—while a slight decline from last year’s survey—are much higher than what many studies are showing for overall job satisfaction for American workers. As the 2009 survey stated, “…satisfaction may simply be security-cleared professionals recognizing the coveted stability their status affords them, in conjunction with continued solid demand for their services.”

During a time when finding good news about the job market is hard to find, it’s refreshing to see at least one industry is not only continuing to see an increase in salary, but job satisfaction continues to be above the national average as well. So, are you in demand? If you haven’t thought about getting a security clearance for yourself and/or your business, you should—and start enjoying the benefits that only come with true job satisfaction!

I was DIM, Now I am BRIGHT with GVO

Okay I am one that needs to grow my businesses just like anyone else. I market, I talk, I help, I encourage, and most times I invest.

I invest my time and my money in things that I think will be worthwhile and useful, for myself in business, and for others. When I created my online classes for Christian Business Owners, I knew that work book would change weekly if not daily because of the resources that are right at our fingertips.

I was using a great FREE resource for quite some time for online webinars. (dimdim) Great resource. Free is good but not for a long period of time. Free gets old really quick for those of us that are growing and need more.

So free for me turned into invest for the legacy. (that will be another blog!)

I wanted to upgrade my service with Dim Dim to the paid account, but I looked at it and it was so much a month, didn't know if I could start to invest that much right away for webinar usage. Now, let me say here, I want to be able to record, package and send out if I want to, to my clients and students. DimDim was going to charge me a credit card payment to do that.

SORRY,NOT going to happen.

A friend of mine introduced me to GVO and I was sold. I was sold on the $$$ per month for the service. (did I get to the punch line too quickly?) Well, GVO conference is webcasting and conferencing software that has all of the features I need in a webinar service for less money than Dim Dim. (remember free is good..for only a short time)

GVO offers me: a web room for 50 ppl (I can upgrade to more later), option to record, screen share, presenation share, whiteboard, web site, public or private chat, etc.

I was totally excited! Why? Well the service is $8.97 per month. YEP...8.97...(and I can privately brand it if I want to)...

But the killer part is it didn't stop there. The low month fee, plus if I share this with others I can make money from sharing. WHAT? Yes, I can make money from sharing. This is the residual portion of today's lesson folks>>You have a business to build, you don't have much capitol, and your savings is about to get tapped out, you need something to help you keep things afloat, and keep your business out there!)

You can earn 10% of 8.97 from each person you sign up after the 1st month of making 50%. You have the potential of making $100 or more a month depending on how many people are in your downline. Okay, so that doesn't sound like you will be a millionaire by January, but look at it this way, you have some money in your pockets, your GVO conference is paid for by your downline, and you are making money from your webinars and online confernces.

The intial start up is 29.99 plus 8.97, then 8.97 each month after that.

Nothing less...always more..my question to you is..what are you waiting for? This is something great for small business owners who want to invest in themselves.

Click the link and get started today.

http://mrsceo.myprelaunchinvite.com/2/en/

(if you sign up for free, you will NOT have access to your room. If you need the room right away, upgrade rightaway!)

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all of the talk about Social Media? Are you spending more than 30 minutes max per day on Twitter? Facebook? You don’t have to spend most of your day on these sites. I’ll sharewith you a couple of resources that can assist you in leveraging yourtime.

Some of what I’m going to share can also be applied to other Social Media sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn, however, in this post I willfocus on Twitter.

What is Twitter? Well, where have you been? LOL

Twitter is a great resource to enhance your marketing efforts and will definitely offer
Business Empowerment when you know what you’re doing.

Twitter would have to be one of the fastest growing sites on the web today. It is taking the internet by storm and there are around 10,000new users per day signing up to participate in this internet revolution.

Twitter is best described as a micro blogging platform. You are limited to 140 characters each time you do an update, which initially, may seem a small amount. However, as you become more experienced, it’sjust amazing what you can fit into 140 characters.

That said, Twitter is much, much more than that. It is like one huge global chat room, but then again, it doesn’t have to be. It all dependson how many people you follow on Twitter. If it’s in the thousands, then your “Tweetstream” will be running fast and furious witheverything that’s coming in. If you are only following a few hundred,or even less, then things are much easier to keep up with.

Twitter is also a great way to meet new people online, particularly those with similar interests to you. It’s a great way to be visible andposition yourself as an expert in your field to your target audience orniche.

You can set up an account by going to www.twitter.com you’ll see prompts to guide you through the process. If you need support I dooffer mini coaching packages to help you develop a strategy, get set up,and get targeted followers.

Now here are a couple of resources to help you leverage your time on Twitter.

Savvy women and Woman Entrepreneur’s Productivity tips: The To do list reborn and Batching

We’ve all heard of the 10 things to do list.

The problem with this is that you end up with 10 humongous tasks which all require attention of their own.

I’d like to call this The to do list reborn. When making up your to do list don’t just jot down 10 things on the list Put the items of highest priority at the top. You don’t want to have a list of 10 things
to do. You want to narrow it down because you’re going to add some
action steps or mini goals.

It’s important that you do this activity correctly if you want to achieve the highest results.

I share this in the Make it Happen "30 days of Empowerment” mentoring program. You’ll discover how to get Big results faster than you have before.

Another productivity tip is what is called batching.

Pull out your new and improved To-Do list. Look it over and I I’m sure you’ll see some commonalities and patterns. You might find there are types of tasks that are all performed similarly.

How are they similar? Maybe you complete these tasks while you’re in the same mindset or while using the same equipment. They might be tasks that are call-related, tasks that need to be done in the same software
on the computer, tasks that require extended thinking, etc.

By grouping these tasks together, you can save transition time between activities – and, of course, get more done in less time. These are the types of tasks that are perfect for batching:

Tasks that occur or can be scheduled in the same physical location. By grouping tasks in the same environment together, you save time moving back and
forth. For instance, if you’re meeting a client downtown, arrange
several other meetings in the same general area.

Other ideas: Mailing/shipping at the post office, doctor’s appointments, running errands, even daily tasks in your house (when you’re in the kitchen cooking breakfast, put away the dishes in the
dishwasher, too).

These are just a few of the productivity tips that I’ll also share in my upcoming Make it Happen “30 days of Empowerment” Mentoring program.

This post is an excerpt from my free call You Empowered! Simple secrets to conquering overwhelm.

For a limited time you can request my free gift audio replay download of this call only. On this call I also share one thing that can be attributed to weight gain, overwhelm and
chronic disease and more!

Go to http://tinyurl.com/youempoweredpr to gain access to my free gift to you.

This is my preview call to the Make it Happen “30 days of Empowerment” mentoring program which will happen weekly through October 27.
