Remote Computer Support-Saving Time and Money

With the rising cost of almost everything, people are looking for ways to save. This can be accomplished by using remote computer support instead of traditional onsite support. While this service is still fairly new to some, it is has been around for quite some time. Through the use of a screen sharing application, a technician can connect to your computer and control your mouse and keyboard to fix over 90% of your computer related issues.Because of the nature of this process, security is a major concern and it should be. Having a person located in possibly another state control your mouse and keyboard does sound creepy. But unlike onsite repair or dropping your computer off at your local pc shop, you are able to actually watch what the tech is doing. Ask your onsite tech can you watch what they are doing and let me know how that works out. Also, each connection that is established requires your permission. In addition, once you or the tech has stopped a session, your computer can no longer be accessed.Pricing for this service is not as near as expensive as onsite support. Most companies have packages that will allow you to receive support for up to 1 year for a fee. Often that fee will only cover 2 onsite appointments. Also, because there isn’t any face to face interaction, you will have to pay using a credit card or debit card. When choosing a remote support company, make sure they offer a no service, no fee option. You can’t lose. Don’t be scammed by companies that charge you for their time. Spending time diagnosing your computer is not the same is having the issue resolved. Also, because you will have to use a debit or credit card to pay for this service, make sure company has a secure way for you to pay. When you are asked to enter card number, if the company is not using a reputable online payment company, make sure that a yellow lock appears at the bottom right side of your screen.Need more information about remote computer support, perform an Internet search. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Utilize the Automated Greeting Card Strategy !

Since greeting cards have been proven to be the best means of following up nad building client relationships, why don't more people use them?.It is incovenient and time consuming to drive to the card store and pick out cards. Then thee is addressing the envelope, hunting for astamp, and the time it takes to hand write the message inside the card. And finally the trip to the Post Office to mail it.. The expense. Cards typically cost $3-5 each at a store, plus the cost of gas to drive to the store and the Post Office. We forget. Birthdays and important occasions are hard to keep track of with out a system to help us.Having an AUTOMATED system to print and mail the cards for you is the answer to these problems and to creating an effective follow up and customer retention system. The system also needs to be designed to send out multiple cards at once in order to allow a business owner or professional to mail targeted cards to their entire list at one time, or subgroups of that list. This would be an enormous time saver and enable a business to set up campaigns with different messages to different subgroups all going out in the mail on specified dates, similar to an email auto responder but with much more personal impact than an email.Imagine the effect of integrating the automation of an email drip marketing campaign with the personal touch of sending specific, targeted greeting cards to prospects and clients!About the personal handwriting issue....What if you found an automated system such as the one described above that also sentout your cards in YOUR OWN handwriting with out you having to actually take the time to write out each one individually? Would that be amazing? At this point you may be asking, " Does such a system exist?" Well, we were determined to find one that met all these requirements ( and more) and we have been using it with phenomenal results for several years.

Press Release: May 21, 2009

XstreamEtronics simultaneously gives aid to the Houston community and the environment.XstreamEtronics is taking Texas green with their sale of “Green Machines.” Xstream’s promotion of reselling “green electronics” is taking the resellers market by surprise. "Our mission is to recycle, restore and reuse. The resale of refurbished electronics helps to protect our environment and also enables us to provide an affordable product for the community", says Co-owner Charles Adams.Acknowledging the all too frequent improper disposal of electronics by resellers, XstreamEtronics has resolved to deal solely with those manufacturers who adhere to Texas Commission of Environmental Quality rules and regulations. Manufactures have the option of sending all of their returned electronics to XstreamEtronics on consignment or they can chose to wholesale to XstreamEtronics the returned end-of-life electronics at the products’ current market value. “XstreamEtronics will only accept electronics from those manufacturers who adhere to Texas ‘Green Laws’ and whose electronic products are green compatible,” stated Mr. Adams. “By doing so, with XstreamEtronics “green procedures” we are able to assure our customers that our refurbished electronics are safe to the new end-user and safe for the Texas environment.”Co-owner of XstreamEtronics, Charles Adams is passionate about creating a bridge between restoring local communities and restoring the tools that help to enable and empower Houstonians. By properly recycling and restoring electronics we simultaneously protect ourselves, our environment, and provide an opportunity for computer ownership to someone who might not otherwise be able to afford a computer at it's "off the shelf" cost. The recent grand opening of XstreamEtronics at its Highway 6 S. @ Bissonnet location was filled with local small business owners in search of refurbished electronics. "As a small business, our budget is tight. Yet there are things that are vital for our growth. The recent boom in business marketing through the online social media such as Facebook and Twitter makes it imperative to be 'connected' in order to stay competitive. Having a store like XstreamEtronics where I can visit to get a great desktop, laptop or video recorder for a fraction of the price at a large retailer, is fantastic! It allows me to save money and keep my overhead down, which in turn, keeps our prices down and makes them affordable for others," says Lyndsey Shaffer of Cantilever Concepts Custom Graphic Design Services and Co-Founder of Onyx Six.Click here XstreamEtronics for updatesFor additional information or media inquiry contact:Media Relations - Khadijah AdamsXstreamEtronicsXstreamEtronicsInc@gmail.comhttp://www.xstreametronics.comContact:XstreamEtronics9432 Highway 6 S, Ste AHouston, TX 77083Tel: 281-933-6700Fax: 281-939-6707

Well, to answer that question I'll have to take you back a few weeks. In the middle of June, I was to take a working vacation to Orlando, Florida. My plans were solid - work 4 hours and spend the rest of the day in the sun! Well, the best laid plans, huh?My computer died just two days before the plane was to take off. Running around to get it fixed and packing took a toll on me and I decided that I needed a real vacation after all so I left the broken computer at home.I'm glad I did!It gave me some time to recharge my batteries. Well, I never thought one iota about the business or its direction, but I did get some well needed R&R. I even got to reconnect with a high school friend. So, where is the business? We are strong and planning to get back to broadcasting July12th with all new programming. We got a bevvy of topics and looking forward to audience participation so join us on Saturday morning or listen to our archives whenever it is convenient for you.Sincerely,Candice L.
