Greetings everyone!After you have placed your AD in publications or it is running on the radio or TV, this is when the real work begins. Placing your AD and then sitting back to see what happens is a waste of your time and money. Think of your AD as a store. Would you open the store, leave the doors open with no-one assisting customers or assisting customers at check out time?Placing the AD with no interactive support from you, will not yield you the best results from your AD campaign. Your local store drives customers to their establishment. Use the same concept about your ADs. Be proactive driving potential customers to the ADs you are running. You have paid to be the center of attention, so if the spot light is on you, it is your duty to give them a show. Nobody pays to see the spot light. They pay to see the person or business occupying the spot light. Remember, you are paying to be there.Schedule mini-marketing campaigns around your ADs. Three Wrong Responses to the Holy SpiritYou always resist the Holy Spirit…Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God…Do not quench the Spirit. (Acts 7:51; Ephesians 4:30; and 1 Thessalonians 5:19)It is the will of God that we walk in daily dependence upon the Holy Spirit.. It is God's desire that we seek Him for the fullness of the Spirit's work in and through our lives. Three wrong responses that undermine the will of God in our lives are resisting, grieving, and quenching the Spirit of the Lord.When Stephen was on trial before the religious leaders of Israel, he preached a powerful sermon declaring the faithfulness of God toward His consistently unfaithful nation. He concluded his message with a pointed, radical, accurate evaluation. "You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you" (Acts 7:51). Here we are given the kind of attitudes that oppose the work of the Spirit. These people were "stiffnecked." They were stubborn and self-willed. They wanted their will, not the will of God. They also were "uncircumcised in heart and ears." They did not allow God to cut away the carnality of their inner being. They would not allow God to speak to them through His messengers. They were self-righteous and self-sufficient. When we conduct ourselves in this same manner, we also are "resist[ing] the Holy Spirit."When Paul was writing to the church at Ephesus, he commanded them: "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit." In the next verse he indicated the dispositions that bring grief to the Spirit of God. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31). Yes, the Holy Spirit is a person, not a mere power or influence. He can be saddened by our behavior. When we, God's people, harbor bitterness in our hearts and malicious words in our mouths, then we are "griev[ing] the Holy Spirit of God."When Paul wrote to the saints at Thessalonica, he instructed them: "Do not quench the Spirit." Just as a fire can be quenched, the promptings of the Holy Spirit can be stifled. As we read the word of God, the Spirit can be stirring a spiritual fire of conviction within us. Will we respond to that heavenly influence, or will we suppress it? When the Lord is igniting a vision of service unto Him, will we yield or will we extinguish it? When the Lord is calling us to intercessory prayer, will we cry out to Him or will we suppress that desire He is kindling? Will we allow the Spirit to blaze within our hearts, or will we "quench the Spirit?"O Father, I am convicted by Your Spirit of times that I have behaved in these same ways. I have resisted and grieved and quenched the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. Lord, I repent, and I ask You to show me any area of my life that is not yielded to the full work of Your Spirit. This I pray through Christ, my Lord, Amen.

Stacie and her sister just can't get along and now her sister trys to convince her to give her a baby because she can't have one but since she refuses all hell has broken loose while Stacies mother and the sisters husband is adding to the fuel. But big sis doesn't stop to have her way and will stop at nothing to get what she wants, even if Stacie has to die over it.Meanwhile the men in Stacie's life is painting their own picture and their woman will get their men back one way or another.

All you have to do is believe itand receive it.Right now, read Deuteronomy 28:16-68. That's a list of the curses Christhas freed you from. You might even call it a list of the giants Jesushas already slain for you. It contains every diabolical thing the devilcould ever use to destroy you.Read it and rejoice. God has healed you and delivered you from thosethings!Don't let any giant intimidate you. You have a blood covenant withAlmighty God. While working as a Public Insurance Adjuster I would often get phone calls from young single mothers hoping I could help them get money for repairs to their homes. Unfortunately, when I would arrive I would find that they were improperly insured but most often the damages they had weren't insurable damages but major defects and safety hazards to the home they just invested every dime they had into. What made this even worse is these young mothers usually had just purchased their homes within the past year or two through some kind of government "First Time Homeowners" program, and those that did get inspections, the inspection were performed by a contractor friend of the seller who usually was an investor flipping the property.I visited one house and from the dining room could see that the kitchen floor had a major slope towards the outside of the house. The young mother told me she doesn't go in the kitchen because it felt like it was about to fall off the rest of the house. Another house had one strip of paneling on the wall, not one wall with paneling, just one strip of paneling. When I looked behind the panel I could see straight outside. Then there was the house I visited one August, it hadn't rained for days weeks,as a matter of fact. The minute I walked into the house I could smell the mold. When I went into the basement the walls were soaked, the floors were damp, the joist and subfloors were wet. We could barely breathe while down there and she has a son in elementary school. This house had wires sticking out of the outlets and her porch roof was beginning to collapse from wood rot. (which is why she called me) I gave her some suggestions but couldn't really help her. She had only been in the house for 6 months and I had to tell her it wasn't safe for them to be there. With tears in her eyes she says "I hate this house". I don't think I need to tell you that I was fighting back tears myself.When I left I sat in my car for awhile trying to figure out what to do. All I could think is "Oh boy, I wish I was Oprah and could knock the house down and just build her a new one." But, I'm not Oprah. The next morning after praying and while talking to God in the shower, I decided to become a Certified Home Inspector and save the world!!!

It's early in the morning. You have an appointment with the company president. This is the deal you've been waiting on. You're looking sharp in your new business attire. You're about to leave, go to your vehicle, put the key in the ignition, and OMG!!!!!Your vehicle won't start. What the heck??? This is the last thing you need on a day like today. You start to ask yourself questions. Self, why didn't my car start? Did I leave something on? At this point, it doesn't matter. Your vehicle needs an alternator. After the dust has settled, you're handed a bill for four hundred dollars. OMG again!!! What did the mechanic replace for four hundred dollars, and how can I prevent this from happening again? There isn't an easy way to get around not repairing your vehicle. But, paying attention to the symptoms of your vehicle will help cut down repair cost.The charging system isn't a complex operation. There are many invisible variables that can affect its operation. The most popular method for testing an alternator is at the battery. But, this test can't reveal the common problems that exist inside of an alternator. The common problems are open or shorted alternator diodes, intermittent high or low charging rates, charging system wiring problems, intermittent cranking/no start complaints or intermittent dead battery complaints.The alternator operates off a magnetic field. This magnetic field is created by a rotating magnet called a rotor. The magnetic field is "cut" by three windings of copper wire. An alternator has a positive and negative diode which rectifies the alternator's electrical output from alternating to direct current. As the magnetic field is created, the current passes through a carbon brush. This activity is controlled by the voltage regulator. To accomplish this operation, the voltage regulator must be able to accurately sense battery voltage. By checking your battery cables (positive and negative), this will help your alternator's ablility to charge your battery. The state of your battery is very important to providing voltage to the voltage regulator. Bad battery, your alternator works harder. Lose cable connections, your alternator works harder. In turn, this will wear out the wiring, and brushes inside of the alternator.Alternators are capable of creating an intermittent high charge or low-state-of-charge problems. An intermittently high charging rate may store a trouble code in the vehicle's computer or a repeated failure of the high-beam headlamp bulb. Low state-of-charge issues are indicated by intermiitent cranking, no-start complaints in sub-freezing temperatures, intermittent dimming of headlamps or battery sulfation.Alternators will wear out over time.
