How To Build An Email List On Your Blog

Build An Email List On Your Blog

One of the biggest challenges that bloggers face is how to build an email list.

Most know and understand the saying, "the money is in the list."

Loyal subscribers who know, like, and trust you turn into customers provided you're continuously providing value and have good content.

Back when I first started blogging, I didn't understand this. I wanted tons of readers, but I wasn't exactly looking for emails because I didn't have a product to sell (or so I thought).

This is before internet marketing really hit.

A friend of mine suggested I get a blog to promote myself as a freelance writer, but that was about as far as it went. It was probably about 6 months to a year before I REALLY figured out that I was doing it ALL wrong.

Even as a freelance writer, I should have been building a list of loyal subscribers and sending out at least a weekly newsletter with my content to engage my readers.

Crazy right?

What's even crazier is that with ALL the information out there about how to make money blogging, and how to build a list, I still see people who make the silliest mistakes that myself and so many others made years ago.

The sad thing is that a lot of them have great blog, filled with valuable content, fabulous designs, and yet.... one mistake in particular is costing them BIG

Testimonials tell the story of Leads can Lead to Success with A little investment and persistence

Have you really wanted success? Has success seemed to elude you? Have you ever wondered why other people have been enjoying more than you do?

It is not because you are not smart. It is not because you are a bad person. It is because other people have plugged into systems which generate them cash flow.

How well do you think sand sells in the desert? Do you think that the Eskimo needs to buy more ice? I know those seem like obvious questions, but they are relevant. In business especially when dealing with Home Based Business people the successful ones are focused on one activity. That activity is acquiring the next customer or business partner.

So when one them is approached with another opportunity, their usual response is how is this going to help me fulfill my main purpose of acquiring the next customer or business partner. This is where being able to offer a tool or service that will help the home based entrepreneur get what they want.

The question on your end might be “How does this help me fulfill my purpose of getting my main product sold and getting people to join my organization?” The way it helps you is that it helps you to build a relationship with your potential prospect. While you are reaching out and building relationship why not earn some extra money. In the video you will see several people who have been having outstanding success offering lead generating tools for a 1 time fee. Watch the video and see if it something that will be helpful for your venture. If it is you can get started at http://uc.ispaiddaily.com

Identity Theft - It is more than just about Finances. It can kill you if you don't deal with it. There are many products on market which offer Identity Theft Monitoring Services. If you have one of them that's great.

What that means is that you have the consciousness to recognize that there is a problem out there and you are taking positive action to protect yourself. Which is a good thing. The downside is that you may be experiencing a false sense of security because you are actually still exposed the vast majority of types of Identity Theft.

Financial Identity Theft also know as credit fraud only represents about 20% of the overall crime.

10744100672?profile=originalThis means that your bank or credit card company isn't going to be able to help you with other 80% types of Identity Theft Crimes out there. That's not good.

One of the things that chart doesn't show is that is Medical Identity Theft. Did you know that because of the current health insurance crisis people are desperate to get medical coverage? When people are desperate they will doing things which may not be other's best interest.

Here is a quick video that shows the challenge Medical Identity Theft poses.

So what are you going to do? How are you and your family going to get protected from those other threats? By the way, many of those other services require that your spouse or significant others to pay an additional fee to be covered.

Fortunately, there is another solution. There is company with a dedicated staff of trained professional Identity Theft Restoration Agents. The best part of it is that the service covers you and your spouse with one low price and for just a dollar a month more you can add up to 8 children.

If you would like to know more about the service please visit http://idt.yournubizsolutions.com

This is one of the best pieces of advise that I have been given. Many times we feel that things aren't working for us. Maybe we aren't making as many sales as we wanted. Or we aren't recruiting the number of people we thought we would because they just don't see what we saw nor are they willing to take a look.

It could be that all the people who are associated with are mocking you or urging you to quit. I was listening to a CD Making the Shift by Darren Hardy, Publisher of Success Magazine  and I heard him share the story of a very special crab that lived in the ocean. It was said that is crab was very smart and very nimble. That there was no trap devised that it could not get out of.

Yet, thousands of these crabs were caught each year. They were caught not because they were unable to escape on their own. They were caught because their associations held them back. Have you ever felt like your associations held you back?

My suggestion to you is find new associates. Get new leads. Go to places you haven't gone before. Success requires change. It requires changes on the inside and on the outside. When you feel like you want to quit, that's the time you really want to get busy. But you don't want to just be busy. You want to be active to the right things which will lead to your business success.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and found it of value. I'd loved to see your comments.

What if?!?

It is amazing how those two small words could have so much impact on the world and your personal life. When I drive into Newark, NJ I see a big billboard with those two words plastered on it. Just the other day, I was watching the lastest version of HG Well's Time Machine staring Guy Pearce, Yancey Arias, and Mark Addy and marvelled at the fact that the whole movie was based on those two words. What was really good was that it clearly pointed out the hope and the danger that those two words hold.

Now you may ask, "What is the danger of What If"? If we dwell on the past with negative lenses on, What If can turn into a S&M Fest of self-loathing and self-defeating talk. It can lead us to dark places where we ponder on the possibilities of things which can't be changed. And we maginify our failures, or perceived failures. It is not a good place to be. Especially if one is striving to build a business.

Does this mean that we can look at the past? Not at all. It's just that when we look at the past we want to look at how we can make improvements in the present and the future. Speaking about the future, What if if used the wrong way can be just as detrimental as looking at it in the past.

The issue with the future is that we can get trapped in to all sorts of limiting thinking which block us from progressing. We can look at all the things which can go wrong and hold them as if they had already happened. What if when used properly can help us reach high heights. Instead of "What if this doesn't work" why not focus on "What if this does work"? Rather than "What if I fail?", why not "What if I succeed".

What if is a powerful statement and situation. We can let it keep us or drag us to bottom or it can bring us to the top. The choice is your.

MARRIAGE IS BUSINESS

In the movie The Marriage Contract, a couple receiving premarital counseling is told that they should prepare for marriage as if they were starting a new business.  The goals, roles, rules, and expectations should to be clearly understood before the two parties sign on the dotted line.  This is not to discount the importance of love, affection, or romance; those things matter, but in reality, two people coming together in a marriage are actually starting a joint business venture.

A marriage has to be managed, nurtured, and protected, just like a business.  The two people in the marriage become the managers responsible for jointly attending to those things that keep the marriage strong and healthy.  Where people mess up is that they aren’t committed to managing the marriage.  They can deal with the “fun” stuff, but don’t want to deal with the “hard” stuff.  Guidelines about how the marriage will operate aren't discussed.  Expectations aren't expressed.  When there is no commitment to manage; when there are no clearly defined rules and roles; when expectations aren’t clear, the marriage has no structure and its effectiveness diminishes.

Marriage can be one of the most fulfilling things you ever do in life.  To share your days with someone who truly wants to share their days with you can bring you the most joy that you will ever experience.  But if there is no commitment; if both partners aren’t “hands-on” in managing the marriage, it will soon cease to exist; just like a business.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT VS. CHRISTMAS COMMERCIALISM

The argument about Christmas Spirit vs. Christmas Commercialism is not new.  Retailers have forever been seducing shoppers at Christmas time with all kinds of deals and specials.  Most often it was a sideshow that only temporarily distracted humans from the real Spirit of Christmas.  But today, it seems as though Christmas Commercialism, for many, is what Christmas is all about.

There is no doubt that the power of Christmas Spirit has long impacted the family of man.  Humans, generally, treat one another friendlier during this time of year.  Wars stop because of Christmas.  People give to the less fortunate in a spirit of kindness.  Christmas has an enduring universal power that makes most humans, regardless of religious beliefs or practices, understand that caring for one another is simply the right thing to do.

Christmas Commercialism attempts to create its own power.  For many retailers and their media cohorts, it’s all about getting the consumer to spend.  They promise deals on items that they know won’t be in the store.  They create “scheduled” specials designed to manipulate your time.  This is nothing new; it has gone on for years.

The problem, as I see it, is that the consumer is starting to drink the cool-aid more and more.  People leave their Thanksgiving dinner tables to go shop instead of sharing family history and stories.  People camp out overnight to be one of the first in line to get that big-screen TV that will only last until next Christmas.  People are mean and rude to one another fighting over shopping carts, parking spaces, and that last item on the shelf.  They cuss at one another, they become physical with one another, they disrespect one another, not because of the Christmas Spirit, but because of Christmas Commercialism.

The retailers are not going to change.  Their souls were lost a long time ago.  However, as humans, we have the power to determine how we respond.  We need to remember that Christmas is about peace on earth and goodwill to all, not charging credit cards to the max then taking the next year to pay them off.

Somehow I don’t think that when (or if) you get to the Pearlie Gates, St. Peter is going ask you about that deal you got on that TV.

My Cleansing Journey Day 11

Ten days has pass (with 20 left) since the start of my cleaning journey. I made some good process. I have successfully switch half of my accounts that I have to online statements. They all go to one dedicated email address. I even created a calendar so I know when my bills are due and everything is all sync up so I have no excuse miss a payment (unless I don’t have the money). I also emptied out a basket that I had lying around the apartment and turn into a shred container. Everything that needs to be shredding will go into there and I will take care of it at least once a week.

I have to admit it’s overwhelming. “Why do I have so much stuff?” Every Spring and Fall I go through my clothes and donate what I cannot fit anymore. Every now and then I’m recycling bags of shredded up paper. So you would think that over time I should be able to look around and see less and less, but I don’t. This is ridiculous. Then a light bulb went off.

My aha moment.......

Read on to learn what I finally realized.
