Yes! they said you couldn't make it this far. Your business will fail. You will be back. You will not win. The people who are near and dear to you are also included in this negative talk. The so called friends; the ones you ask to attend the meetings with you and all of a sudden they had a prior engagement. Have you heard these words before. Surely, you have and that is why you became so determined to prove them wrong. You were determine to have the last laugh; because you knew what GOD placed within you no one can take away.Applaud yourself for taking a bold step towards school and graduating. Applaud yourself for taking courageous steps towards starting your business. Applaud yourself for taking the powerful steps towards your career. You did it and if your reaping the rewards righ now so be it because it was determined in your mind long time ago that this day would come. So, bask in your glory for you have earned it through sweat and tears.How did you do it? How did you stand and be counted? What were your solutions to getting it done? Well! First and foremost you trusted God when everything and everyone around you seemed unforgiving. Knowing that God was on your side sooth every cell within your being. There is a lot of money to be made in the wellness industry. The field is large but there are many niche markets within it. The health supplement industry is one of the most popular niches. Health supplement juices and products abound.

What is the reason that people are so interested in this niche?

Health supplement products: they are some of the most popular products in the whole wellness industry.

Convenient and fast: there are a number of different health products. Juice and capsules are 2 of the most well liked forms of product. Customers take these products twice or once per day. People find this very convenient.

Marcus GarveyI love these words from Brother Garvey that he spoke almost 100 years ago. Isn't it funny how cycles repeat themselves? Do you think that Bro. Garvey, Malcolm or Dr. King ever envisioned a Black family in the White House? So taking that in consideration and the visionary words of Bro Garvey, what can we do in 2009 to help his vision of Black pride, unity and economic empowerment come to an even higher level of fruition?We can expand on Bro Garvey's vision of uniting more Black Consumers with Black Businesses. We need production facilities owned and operated by Black people! To produce the wonderful bath, body, beauty products, clothing, computers, CDs/DVDs, etc. We need to search for a Black owned business for our everyday products and services first, before we shop at the Big Box or other retail stores. Then we need a distribution operation to get these products made by Black entrepreneurs to the Black consumers and Black retail establishments! After that we need more Black financial institutions. I personally have both my personal and business account with a Black owned bank. We can take the Black Wall Street (Tulsa, Oklahoma) to a global level and create hundreds even thousands of self-sufficient Black communities around the world.With any major change in society, it starts with a handful of people with a united vision. Those willing to make the vision into a reality...these are true visionaries. Those willing to accept that everyone they talk to will not accept this idea of change...many will take the wait and see attitude. Let me wait and see if you can do this before I step out and try it. The High Pay Off Task

Time management skills are vital for the small business owner. The need to manage your time is not a new concept. However, many neglect to prioritize their tasks. Every single day you must have a list of things you will accomplish. From that list you need to identify "the high payoff task".The high payoff task is the project that is in direct alignment with your goals and dreams. Many people consider the high payoff task to be that which will bring them money. Do not fall into this trap. The high payoff task will deliver something of true value to you, something more important than instant monetary gratification. When you complete that task it will have either moved you to the next level, or opened the doorway to the staircase that will take you there. It places you in a position to grow.Unfortunately, it is often hard to distinguish what the high payoff task for the day will be. We often have a list of things that we want to do, don't want to do or should have done all rolled into one. The key is to decipher from that list which project will bring you both joy and growth. The beauty of it is this, there is not a list of steps you have to follow to determine the high payoff task. Nor is there a key ingredient to creating one. It is simply a matter of getting in touch with your feelings and emotions. When you're engaging in your high payoff task you will know it because you will feel on fire. Every step and every decision will flow with ease.Sometimes we can identify the high payoff task before we even begin. If you read an item on your list and you become excited and feel good at the prospect of completing that task then you have identified your high pay off task. Other times we don't identify the high payoff task until we're knee deep in it. You may say things to yourself like "wow this is easier than I thought it would be" or "I feel like I'm actually making progress" and you will take pleasure in completing this task.Yet, what happens most often is that you find the high payoff task outside of the list. It may be as simple as an unexpected phone call, email or a chance meeting. It appears in the little things that make you say, "that just made my day"! This experience energizes and refuels you and this is what the high payoff task does. I recently responded to a question that a young lady had with regards to finding a "honest" home based business. With new businesses appearing every day, I thought that these points were very essential to finding the right business opportunity for you. See my response below:Hey,So glad to know that you are seeking independence in the form of working from home. My name is Nicole Cooper and I mentor and coach others on how to brand and market themselves online. Having a background in Home Based Businesses (HBB) and Network Marketing, I just wanted to shed a bit of insight into what you should look out for when seeking a HBB...1. Find something that you can believe in. It is so important to believe in your product. You do not want to do something "just for the money". It will never last, and starting an HBB can be pretty challenging at times in all honesty, so you want your passion to see you through the challenge of the development stage.2. Find a mentor that you can trust. Although you will be in business for yourself, you will not be working by yourself, but will be working with a team of people that 'MUST' have your best interest in mind. I've worked under good and poor leadership, and trust me, the poor leadership nearly killed my business. Find someone that will show you how to disover your passion and push you to maximize your potential. But also keep in mind that you must be self motivated as well.3. Make sure that the compensation plan is worth your time and is tangible. In every business meeting opportunity, you will have the "highly paid" testimonials of that someone in the company that is making all this money in a short period of time.....BIG DEAL!!! The reality is, how possible is it for you to really make that money yourself, based on your talent and your efforts? Find a company with a compensation plan that is worth your time.....if that money is just a few dollars here and there, you may get discouraged and quit, feeling like your spending more money than your earning. There are companies that aren't that expensive to get involved with, and will pay a reasonable amount of money. YOu have to be realistic with how much money you want to make in comparison to how much effort your willing to put into it.4. Be ready to work hard....Working from home can often be harder than working a job. The reason why is because your hours go way past the normal 40 hours a week and you arent' getting paid every two weeks. You must also be disciplined with a daily agenda of "money producing activities" that will promote you to where you want to be financially. The downfall with network marketing companies is that most people rely on their upline to get them to their desired level of success. The truth of the matter is that it is all up to you. They may support you, encourage you and guide you but YOU must do all the work! At the end of the day, you can not place your future in anyone elses hands so be willing to be in control of your future and your work ethic.This is my tidbit of wisdom that I felt is necessary to share as you seek a business. One last tip....5. Emancipation from public education

As parents we must make tough decisions in regards to our kids. The decisions we make will impact their lives even after they are all grown up. Just imagine for one moment that a decision that you made ruined or deeply impacted your child’s life in a negative way. How will you deal with knowing that your decisions may have harmed your child.Well, believe it or not the decision to send children to public school has proven to have some major negative ramifications. Many children pick up some very bad habits and ways from being in public school. Many of our young people are exposed to drugs, alcohol, sex, homosexuality, violence and more just from going to public school. Some children face the pressures of bullying and not being able to keep up among other things. All of this is the result of being in an unstable and hostile environment.When a child is in a hostile environment they are unable to function properly. There is no such thing as telling your child to merely concentrate and ignore what‘s happening around them. A statement such as that , suggest that you don’t have an answer for your child and therefore can only put the situation on the back burner. Many parents find out the hard way that this decision may ultimately harm their child’s future. The instability in the public school environment has helped lead to the rapid decline in academic achievement in our schools. This is why there is such a huge increase in home education. The public school system has failed our children.Home education has such a rapid increase, especially amongst African Americans, which is primarily due to the insufficient educational process of the public school. It is estimated that more than 2,000,000 American children are home schooled. This number will continue to increase as parents awareness is sparked. More and more parents are taking the plunge into home schooling as they realize that they can better educate their children.Black home schoolers are especially motivated to take on the role as parent-teacher seeing that African American children have a higher dropout rate than any other race. The only way to protect your child from becoming a part of this dropout statistic is to become and early dropout through emancipating yourselves from the state institutional education. Please understand that I’m referring to having your child drop out of a failed institution and reviving their learning through home education.
