I've been working on my business and non profit for a minute. (so to speak) Like a lot of business owners I'm always looking for free money (grants) but I wanted to find a way to generate some while I'm waiting money. These are some of the things I came up with . Non profits depending on how you set it up can have a for profit side to help support it. If that is your case then you can get donations fo things from people things like housewares, electronics, virtually anything, and sell it to raise funds for your business. Why you ask would people give you things? Hi everyone, Gee Renee here. I wanted to post this short bio, introducing me to the BBWO community.

I was born and raised in The Bronx, NY, and am the 2nd eldest of 7 children. I have always been a trend-setter and a go-getter. I was the first to do many things in my immediate family; from breaking my leg to leaving home, to graduating from college, to getting married. I am also a born-again believer in The Lord Jesus Christ

For the past 18 years, I have been honored to be married to who I call "the greatest living Jazz Pianist", Mr. Levi Barcourt (bar-coo). Together, we have 3 beautiful children, who I know will one day leave indelible marks on this world. In addition to being a mommy and a wifey, I am also an entrepreneur.

After working in Corporate America for 16 years; 13 years ago, I was privileged to stay at home and become a full-time Momprenuer. I've owned my own baking business; worked as a church administrator, and as a network marketer. Currently, I am a first-time author, writing my first book, a baby name book, entitled, "You Were Destined To Be."

My current online activities includes that of an Internet Marketer. OK, so about 1 month ago, the Chris Brown/Rihanna situation happened and the media was ALL over it! Brown lost endorsement deals and hadn't even been charged with anything. This was his first slip-up and it is still factual to say that noone knows what took place in the car except the people that were in it: Rihanna and Chris Brown. The media ran with this story and now all talk shows want to discuss domestic violence, blah, blah, blah. In no way am I down playing domestic violence, but I am very disappointed in what the media chooses to report and how they choose to report certain issues....and a lot of this is blah to me because you have criminals like Bernard Madoff who was allowed to be in his $7 Million dollar penthouse under house arrest for three months after he swindled about $65 Billion out of people who trusted him with their money.For twenty years this individual committed a crime and there's barely any talk about it. The most the courts may be able to recover is $1billion. The fact that he will be jailed, which isn't really going to be jail for him because he is going to a Federal Prison, is really like retirement for him. He's 70 years old! He's lived his life.
