Do you have a plan? It has been said time and time again, "Those who fail to plan, plan to fail." And this is so true with people who start their own home based business.

It is great that the company has a plan for it's vision, it's methodology, it's budget. The problems lies in the fact that most people who become part of the company don't have these things in place when they come to the company.

In many cases the companies understand this. This is why they go through extensive trouble to prepare getting started right guides and steps in their system. Have you looked at what your company has provide for you?

There is a high probability that one of the first items after deciding your why is making a list. This is where most people fail their business before their business empowers and elevates them to then next level.

Part of the reason people fail to plan is because they don't realize how important it is to plan. Another reason is that people may have made plans and they didn't work out they way they wanted them to so people didn't want to experience the disappointment again. Both of these reasons are understandable, but if a person wants to achieve success they must be overridden.

One way to overcome this is to recognize that plans are not the final results. They are guides. The unfavorable outcomes which arise from plans don't mean that planning doesn't work. They mean that our planning skills need to be improved. We also have to understand we can modify our plans to meet situations as they arrive.

I hope that this had been useful. Please let me know with your comments.

http://BusinessCreditAmerica.com 5 Reasons Internet Marketers Fail in Business.

In this video I discuss why Internet Marketers fail in business and how to avoid these failures.
goo.gl/ycLkHf
1. Internet Marketers or online marketers don't know how to properly structure their business.  They seek out help from companies like Legal Zoom to help them structure the business.  However, companies customer support  does not understand that their is more things that go along with structuring the business then just filing some secretary of state paperwork.  The clients business must be properly registered online in multiple data bases, so the company can get the exposure it needs from 3rd party companies.

2.  Many internet marketers don't use their own products.  This is a problem because if you don't know your product then it becomes challenging then to get someone else to purchase and use your product.  The force their products on potential customers not knowing if that  product it right for that customers.
goo.gl/ycLkHf

3.  Internet Marketers need to build relationships with their customers.  Building a good relationship before and after they purchase from you.  This help builds the customer confidense that they made the right choice in purchasing from you. You never want a customer to have buyers remorse, because you never communicated with them after they purchased from you.

Although, many of them may not use the products giving them a follow up call or sending them an email shows that you were interested in their purchase, and you want to see if they make have an issue with the product.

4. Learning how to manage the business.  A lot of internet marketer don't treat this as their business. They look at it as away to earn some extra cash with out the responsibility. Understanding they may be using it as a career change, it still is a business.

You still need to invest in the business, whether it may be education or software to help you run the business much soother.  Their accounting and taxes to be paid for what ever income that's generated from the business.

5. Many internet marketers want instant success.  They don't realize it takes time to grow the business in order for your to have success in it.  It's not easy, it's a growing and learning process.  We would all like to have short cuts in business, but it could lead us to a loss.

Hello Juniques Multi Cultural Community members.(http://www.jusmcc.net)
I found this interview with Willie Crawford,
foremost Affiliate Marketer, to be extremely interesting.
He shares an answer to a common everyday problem,
earning income on the internet even if you never have before.
How to get started with other people help.
How to generate income today!
http://www.loyaltepays.com/juniques/

http://www.loyaltepays.com/juniques/

Willie's Story,

In my 16 years online, I've interacted with tens of
thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs... and coached
hundreds of them directly.

Many of these people started an online business  because
they had VERY limited budgets, and never would have been
able start brick-and-mortar businesses.

In fact, some insisted that they didn't even have enough
spare change to afford web hosting or an autoresponder.

When they approached me asking, what to do, I often
told them that they were better off taking a part-time
offline job, and using that money to bootstrap a business.

Back then, I didn't see any easy way to do it without
at least getting your own domain name,  some reputable
hosting, and a good autoresponder.  Yes, there were
companies that offered free hosting, etc., but that
didn't instill any confidence in potential customers...
and only branded the other company.

However, things change fast on the internet, and with
the advent to things like social media, it IS now
fairly easy to start an online business without spending
a penny... and if you HATE selling, you can earn a
decent income without even selling anything directly.

The biggest change, and the secret, actually is in
what makes social media "social."

Social media is all about sharing.

You can now generate a decent living just by SHARING
things.

What you share are branded videos, ebooks, graphics,
webinar recordings, etc.  These are branded with YOUR
affiliate links.  You share them on Facebook, Pinterest,
Twitter, a blog or discussion forum, etc., and when
someone checks them out, they are also checking out your
affiliate links.

The things is, you share interesting content, and never
really need to ask them to buy anything.

Since people LOVE to share content on social media
sites, your "friends" or followers will often repost
your shared content, and when they do, they pass along
YOUR affiliate link.

Pretty simple isn't it?

My favorite site for getting brandable content, that you
get paid for sharing, is at:
http://www.loyaltepays.com/juniques/

http://www.loyaltepays.com/juniques/
Check it out.

Membership is free, but there are upgrades available
too, and if you are a prolific content creator, or run
your own affiliate program, you can even upload YOUR
content, and allow site members to join YOUR affiliate
program.

The way you earn by sharing something as simple as say...
an inspiring/moving image though, is that when someone
visits the main site and joins... you get paid.

So you see, you can literally have no website, no
autoresponder... and even no cash, and start your
own online business.

Go ahead and check it out now.  I'm a member... here's

JUNIQUES MULTI CULTURAL CONNECTIONS IS AGE AWARE!!!http://www.jusmcc.org

If there ever was a group of people who need financial strategies for living a positive lifestyle is Senior Citizens (60-80) and the Elderly 80 and beyond).

Middle age folks (45-60) have to pay attention also, for they too, are heading into these catagories.

"The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry" ( robert burns, poet)

Yes, the best laid plans can go wrong!!!!

JMCC is offering options for improving your finances ( which seems to effect so many areas of development). Living does not have to be difficult!!

USA economic policies are in place and/or being put in place to assist our youth. That is a good thing!

However, we must look at the other end of that "timeline" and see where these youths, will be arriving.

If we properly prepare, we will not have to be repeating the same economic empowerment strategies for those "new age category" people.

Additionally, we must assist seniors and elderly in devising an effective economic empowerment strategy. No one wants to be at the "mercy" of someone else benevolence to take care of them.

We have too much going for us economically in the USA to not make this happen!!!

www.jusmcc.org will be a advocate and provider in this endeavor.

The demographical information shows us why this economic empowerment is imperative!!

Senior Citizens to Exceed Children in Most of World and U.S. by 2050 Census Bureau estimates show seniors in U.S. increasing by 104% from 2012 to 2050

June 28, 2012 - The world's inhabitants in 2012 are an older mix of people than was the case a decade ago, driven by declining fertility and increasing life expectancy.

According to new U.S. Census Bureau population projections, by midcentury most world regions, and the United States, will resemble Europe, which in 2005 became the first major world region where the population 65 and older outnumbered those younger than 15. In the United States, the senior citizen population - those age 65 and older - is projected to grow by 104.3% between mid-year 2012 and 2050.

At that point there will be 80.5 million Americans under age 15 and 86.8 million seniors over age 64. Northern America, which includes Canada and the United States, will have joined Europe in this historic reversal of age group sizes by 2050, as will Asia, Latin America and Oceania (which includes Australia and New Zealand).

Moreover, China is projected to move from having nearly twice as many people in the younger age group than in the older one in 2012, to the opposite situation by midcentury. These projections come from an update of the Census Bureau's International Data Base, which includes estimates by age and sex to 100 years and older for countries and other areas with populations of 5,000 or more and provides information on population size and growth, mortality, fertility and net migration. Since April 2012, users of the International Data Base have been able to obtain population in single years of age, allowing them to calculate country-specific populations in particular age groups (e.g. population at selected ages younger than 5, or adolescents).

Between now and the middle of the 21st century, global population will continue aging. The percentage of population 65 and older will more than double, from 8 percent today to nearly 17 percent in 2050. This will carry with it well-established changes in the mix of communicable and noncommunicable disease patterns in populations, health care burden, pension systems, the composition and character of the labor force, and other economic variables, such as savings and consumption patterns.

One world region — Africa — will continue to have populations younger than 15 that are much larger than those 65 and older, but even there, the balance will have shifted toward the older group JMCC is active in providing job and opportunities for the multi cultural communities, especially seniors and elderly!!

As we all know, we need more prospects in our business and upfront cashflow.  In most businesses, people lack marketing training and don't have a network to succeed in their primary business.  You need a system that generate leads and leverage a list of leads to convert into your primary business.

You also need a system that will teach you about Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube to market yourself and earn income, how to dominate PPC, article marketing, and blogging.

This online industry is mainly about building relationships, being a leader, providing value and learning how to make additional income outside of the primary business.  You need the right system, the right mentoring and marketing training and a funded proposal.

If I offered you a way to generate quality leads/prospects, training on how to recruit, how to attract people to you, how to generate traffic to your website, generate more profit to your primary business and help build your downline, would that be something you're interested in?

I got a little too excited. And then I got sidetracked. And then I got bummed out.

What about you? Have you ever had one of those days. . . or maybe one of those months? What is it that shakes up one's momentum just as things are getting really good? April's Success Strategy is "Resourcefulness" and when you start to wander away from the path to success, resourcefulness is just the ticket.

Have you ever fallen into a slump just when you were nearing the nexus of success? Sure you have, you’re an entrepreneur, right? Why does that happen? It is such an energy drain to be brought down low and listless and questioning your every move. Total bummer. So what do you do about it? How do you shake it off? As a business owner and person with some semblance of a life (I say that only slightly tongue in cheek – you know what I mean, right?) we can’t afford to have a bad day.

Many times you can talk yourself out of the miasma of inactivity. A pep talk might be just the thing. Other times you need some real tools to help you move forward. Oftentimes a reversion to the “tried and true” is just the ticket. So when you are not performing up to your normal level, get out your pen and paper and make a list of strategies you can use to get moving again. Remember that project you’ve been meaning to tackle? Well, do it now. Sometimes doing something new can help clear the cobwebs from your brain because when you’re learning a new skill you’re moving in the right direction.

Don’t let a sense of overwhelm keep you bogged down. Create a go-to list of “get my butt in gear” actions to take when you find yourself stuck. I really want to hear your ideas, but here are a few to get you started:

Exercise is always a help – even just a simple walk (usually my best thinking time.)

Work a bit on an open project (and we have plenty of those don’t we?)

Take a nap (Okay, that one might just be a bit of self-indulgent wishful thinking)

Write a blog post! It can help clear the clutter and give you a sense of accomplishment.

Plan your next event. Just as I like to buy my holiday gifts throughout the year so I can peek at them now and again for a little feel-good moment, concentrating on something pleasant can be a nice distraction.

Take a break. Maybe you really are overwhelmed and a little rest might be just the ticket!

What else can you think of that helps shake the “OMG, I’m-really-the-boss-and it’s-all-up-to-me-blues?” Leave a comment; we’d love to hear from you.

Create Your Online Branding Strategy in 5 Easy Steps

As a small business owner building your brand online is essential in this new economy. A few weeks ago I attended a webinar presented by Coach Tanya, of BePromotable.com, a branding consulting company in Dallas, Texas.

In the webinar, Coach Tanya detailed these five steps to online branding. Follow these five online branding tips and you’ll be on your way to creating a solid brand for your small business.

leader.JPG
  1. Develop a Visibility Strategy. Be seen and be heard. It used to said that– “it’s who you know”, but in this new economy, it’s “who knows you” that matters. To accomplish this strategy, create a blog for your business, use social media such as Twitter and Facebook but don’t forget about affinity groups like LinkedIn and Ning. Create a profile and get active on these sites.
  2. Be Known for Something. Become a thought leader. Define your strengths. What comes natural to you? What are you good at? What makes you think “I can’t wait to do that again?” Determine whatever it is and become a known leader in that area.
  3. Decide Your Style. Just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t mean it’s right for you. When it comes to marketing your business online, there are so many ways to do this. There’s social media, article-writing, press releases, blogs, etc. and so on. Don’t try to do it all. Test them out, then decide what’s right for you and go with that.
  4. Manage Your Time. Outsource what you don’t have time to do yourself. A tool like HootSuite is a real time-saver when it comes to posting to your social media accounts. Another way to save time is to hire a virtual assistant or outsource company to handle administrative or marketing tasks you don’t have time to do yourself.
  5. Monitor Your Brand. You can measure how well your brand ranks online by using sites like Klout.com and OnlineCalculator.com. These sites will let you know how strong your online brand is currently and give you some tips to leverage your online clout.

This past Friday night, I recorded an audio letter for the current attendees of my upcoming webinar entitled Your Business, Your Taxes, Your Wealth as I wanted to do something different. While the webinar purpose is to show how you can stabilize and even grow your business through effective tax and accounting strategies I realized that what first has to happen is a total mindset "shift" on how we currently think about building wealth. If we don't have a proactive approach to building wealth, non of the strategies will truly work for your business. Below is an excerpt of the actual email blast and transcript of the audio letter I emailed out. This first part first examines the Mindset of wealth vs. money. The rest of the letter explore Wealth in relation to our businesses and is intended to challenge your thoughts and beliefs. I would love for you to listen to it in it's entirety as well! Register for the webinar to receive the entire letter. This webinar is turning to be something very special and I'd love to have your participation!

As always,

Be empowered!

Challenging your current Mindset regarding "WEALTH and Money"

I want to challenge your current idea of Wealth and money by offering that they are not the same thing. Where money is a tool used to exchange servicesor goods or a way we move wealth around, idea of wealth is asintangible as love and hate. It involves our perception of life and in essence the freedom we desireto have within our lives. For many of us that includes possessions thatmake living life easier (a workable car, a nice clean home, ability totravel, good health, healthy children, technology, the internet, ipods, etc) Wealth can take different forms for different people example,Some sections of this country and other countries create entire -microeconomies by living off a barter system. People simply barter wealthwith each other and don’t use money. They live what they perceive astotally wealthy lives and are able to pass that wealth down to theirchildren.

Alone money isn’t valuable. Money is only valuable when it can be attached
tosomething that is perceived to be valuable to the other person. Moneymakes it easy to trade wealth as it creates a even playing field toexchange wealth - If I need surgery, I cannot offer a doctor something Ifind wealthy in exchange for his work, but if I gave him money, thatwas equal in value, he could take that money and exchange it forsomething he finds valuable and wealthy for him (a Bentley perhaps? )Because we can trade wealth by using money we begin to define wealth asbeing able to make as much money as possible.

Why do some businesses succeed and others fail ? How are some of us able to
create $100 mill corporations, and live a life of “wealth” that we pass on to our children. How is that making money is very easy to do but keeping it and using it in a way to build wealth is very difficult for some?

Is your business experiencing growing pains? Like many business owners, it’s easy to become stagnant. But you must find solutions to continue to grow and reach the level of success that you’ve envisioned. Don’t get discouraged, here are 4 ways to take your business to the next level.

Certify Your Business

Becoming a certified woman owned business can significantly help your business gain access to various types of contracts.

Why certify as a woman owned business?

· Access to market: this can open doors to your women businesses by gaining certification accreditation as a woman owned business; it also puts you in front of corporate purchasing agents, thus, gaining access to lucrative supplier contract opportunities

· Apart of a large network: as women, we naturally like to network. The certifying agencies provide great opportunities to join a network of successful women entrepreneurs to form alliances, partnerships and lasting friendships.

To increase your competitive advantage, there are organizations that specialize in the certification of women owned businesses.

· National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC): NWBOC’s certification program were created for women-owned and controlled businesses as an alternative to the multiple state and local certifications required by many public and private-sector agencies or prime contractors. The agency has partnered with more than 100 major corporations, agencies, and organizations who accept their certification.

· Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC): WBENC offers certification for women-owned businesses. They are a third-party certifier for businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC’s goal is to foster diversity by offering programs and policies designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners. WBENC’s certification program is administered through fourteen regional affiliates.

Develop a Referral Network

Do you know other businesses which you share mutual customers with? You should be running, not walking to find who they are and how you can team up and benefit from each other. For instance, if you are a business writer, you should form a team with a web designer, PR firm and / or an ad agency, to name a few. If you are a realtor, you should form a team with a mortgage lender, Title Company, home inspector and home builders.

The key to this is to learn as much as you can about each team members business so that you can promote it as you would your own. You and your ‘sales’ team benefits with new leads as there are several of you supporting each other’s business. It makes so much sense to work smarter and not harder!

Get on the Social Media Bandwagon
Social networking is serious business! This is social networking for the 21st century, one in which every business owner should get on board with. As entrepreneurs, it is essential that you continually generate new ideas in order to maximize the profit-making potential of your venture. Social media is a great way to leverage your products or services. It is an easy and inexpensive way to connect to people around the world and an opportunity to make friends with people who have similar interests, find solutions to problems they might have by collaborating with others, as well as attract clients that might need your products or services.

More and more local small businesses and non-profit organizations are climbing aboard the social media bandwagon to market themselves for free. It just makes good business sense to learn how to leverage social media to build communities around brands and then leverage them into revenue.

According to a recent survey on online social networking by the Institute for Corporate Productivity:

  • 65% of business professionals use some form of personal or professional social network
  • 47% use social networks to connect with potential clients and market their skills
  • 55% use social networks to share best practices with colleagues

Some popular social networking services, such as, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Linkedin and Bebo allow users to create a profile.

Yes to Name Dropping

Why not ask your existing clients for referrals? All you need to do is ‘ask’ them for up to three friends or colleague’s names that may benefit from your services. Once the names and contact information is given, make sure you ask for permission to use your client’s names when contacting these referrals. When contacting referrals, let each know that your client suggested you call them. This is a great way to bridge the awkwardness to get one foot in the door with ease.

Example: 'Hello, Ms. Jones. My name is Sylvia Browder from Browder Consulting Group. Your friend Ms. Greenberry suggested I call you. She thought you might be interested in growing your small business and I’d like to discuss your needs and give you suggestions for growth. I’d like to make an appointment with you - at your convenience, of course. What day works best for you this week?"

Remember that people do business with people they know and trust. So, if your client is happy with your products/services, then chances are those referrals will turn into clients.

In conclusion, as business owners, it is essential that you continually generate new ideas in order to maximize the profit-making potential of your venture. By doing this, growth is continuous, thus, you’ll avoid stagnation.

As I sat glued to the television watching commentary on Chrysler and how it is responding to its decline in market share I was struck with a thought about small business. If you have been following my blog, you probably know that I am a big proponent of modeling. In my opinion, having a successful model to follow throughout the business lifecycle is invaluable. So, here I sat watching Chrysler, a once successful automotive superpower, struggling and illustrating a very powerful lesson that every small business owner should always remember. What’s the lesson?

1. Have a fluid plan. Companies need a plan that helps them maneuver through turbulent times. There should be one to cover the short run and expanded to meet long run objectives. Most consultants agree that having at least a three year plan is a good start but take a lesson from the major players. Sit down with stakeholders and discuss the vision. Go out as far as five years in your planning by considering what you have to work with now, what changes need to be made, and what investment it will cost you to continue moving forward.

2. Keep abreast of news in the business world. Pay attention to what industry leaders and CEO’s are saying. It’s in your best interest because they have resources and teams that you may not be able to access. By following their interviews and give clues about next steps based upon what they have been advised concerning the industry, market, and economy that may help you, too. As you clue in on their news and sound bites, follow their lead. Do what the successful do and take the act of planning for the future to heart.

3. Be bold enough to make changes. When you notice things are not going according to plan then it is time to look for ways to improve what you can. Are the signs showing that new leadership is in order? How about the company’s vision? Is it time to eliminate any factors that are holding you back?

I will continue to follow Chrysler’s progress as it moves strategically through its five year plan. Check back often as I report on the impact that planning has on market share, earnings, and profitability.

What does it take to become a successful Affiliate Marketer? What are the ingredients of an affiliate marketing success story? Is there a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory? All these questions play around in the minds of affiliate marketers who want to make it big in this business.Although affiliate marketing is touted as one of the easiest and most effective ways to earn money online, it is not as easy as it sounds. The wise affiliate marketer plans every action and executes it the best way he can. He should also maximize the potential to earn by utilizing the right tools necessary for a successful Affiliate Marketing business. We have consulted some of the most successful affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top three necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.Important Tool #1: Your Own WebsiteThe most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate Marketing is your own website. The first step in any successful affiliate marketing business is building a good, credible and professional looking website. Your website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts. Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on the links to the products and service you are promoting and make a purchase. Therefore, you must first concentrate your efforts in building a website that will cater to what your prospects need. The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant and useful content. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful. Keep in mind that, in the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking. By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in building up a loyal consumer base.Important Tool #2: IncentivesCompetition is extremely tight in the internet world. You must always be one-step ahead of your rivals to ensure that you capture a significant share of your target market. Therefore, you must use every possible means to encourage people not only to visit your site but also to click and proceed to the websites of the products and services you are promoting. Building an opt-in email list is one of the best ways to gather prospects. Offer a newsletter or an e-zine. Better yet, offer incentives to your prospects to encourage them to subscribe to your newsletters. You can present free softwares, access to exclusive services and other freebies that will be helpful to your prospects.Important Tool #3: Link PopularityThe importance of driving highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be emphasized enough. The all-important web traffic is at the top of the list of the most important entities in the internet world. Attracting people to your site should be the first step you should carry out. Do everything to achieve a high search engine ranking. Link Popularity is one of the factors that search engines use to determine search engine rankings. Therefore, to enhance your link popularity, you must launch an aggressive reciprocal link campaign. One of the best ways to do this – at no cost at all – is by submitting articles, with your website's link at the resource box, to e-zines and free article sites. You will not only gain exposure, you will also have the opportunity to advertise for free, just include a link back to your site. The more sites you submit your articles to, the better your link popularity is. Make your articles original, relevant and useful so that more websites will pick it up and post it.These are but three of the many tools that an affiliate marketer can use to maximize earning potential. The possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination, creativity, resourcefulness and determination. You can always explore other ideas and adapt other strategies, which you think might help you become a high rolling affiliate marketer.Lisa SimpkinsLisaSimpkins~BBS Global
