Marriage #15

Love between two people

Commitment between two people

Two people becoming one

How do I know if I am married or not?

Is marriage when two have united through their hearts;

With God as their witness?

Or

Is Marriage when two people have a piece of paper, saying they are married?

What is marriage?  There are many who would question this due to questions surrounding gay marriage.  I have another reason to question this.  Mine is very personal.  Mine has religious as well as legal ramifications.

This is my religious dilemma:

When I married I insisted on getting married in a church because this was something I believed strongly in.  When I married I took my vows very seriously.  The circumstances surrounding my marriage were a bit unusual and this added to the strong beliefs behind my marriage.  I had known my husband for only a month and a half via phone conversations.  I flew to St Louis to meet him and we got married the same day.  We knew, in our hearts, that God had brought us together.   Due to my past, I prayed from the moment I stepped off the airplane, while standing in line at the court and up until the time I said “I DO” at the church.  I prayed that God would watch over us and I asked to be led to do God’s will; if this was his will that he would bless us in this marriage ceremony.  I prayed and I prayed and we were married.  I went into this marriage knowing that I made my vows with God as my witness.  I believed in my vows till death do us part.  I believed in my vows for better or worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer…….I believed and I promised to fulfill these vows.

Do these vows hold true In God’s eyes if my marriage was filled with abuse and adultery against me?

Do these vows hold true if the marriage was not valid in a legal sense?

No one can ever imagine or guess the events that will happen in their life.  No one can be prepared for every twist and turn life offers.  Shortly after my marriage I learned that my husband was a crack addict.  I learned this through the trials my life was faced with.  The addiction caused my husband to do many things that are totally against what the Bible says a marriage should be.  My husband became abusive; physically, emotionally and verbally. My husband stole from me to pay for his addiction.  My husband cheated on me on a regular basis with prostitutes.  These are all things that the Bible talks against.  Adultery and abuse are both reasons for divorce.  The Bible talks about not associating with people like this.   The Bible says a person who commits adultery will not be accepted into the kingdom of heaven.  The Bible says if you commit adultery you ruin your life.  The Bible says very specifically what love is and there is no way that the things my husband did to me would be considered love.  And yet, the Bible also says a wife is to submit to her husband.  The Bible says we are to forgive 70 X’s 7 times.  I believe in God’s word…I believe I am to strive to be as Jesus was.  If someone asks for forgiveness and forgives others as he would want to be forgiven; if someone repents and accepts Jesus into his life; if that someone is born again as a new creature of God, do all his past sins matter?  Should they matter to anyone if God has forgiven and Only God can judge?

My dilemma is compounded by legal matters.

I have been married for four years now.  Even through all the trials, we have tried to work together.   Out of nowhere I receive a call from my husband’s first wife.  They are not divorced….which means I am not married…or am I?  Does it make a difference that he was not a husband to me even when we believed ourselves to be married? Does it make a difference that my husband has asked God for forgiveness and I truly believe that God will judge me to the same extend I judge others? In my mind, I must forgive and not judge my husband just as I would ask God (and my husband) to forgive me. I am not married legally, however, the question remains………am I married in God’s eyes?

When I said my vows to my husband, I said them believing them to be true and from my heart.

Marriage; a covenant

In God's house with God as our witness.

Marriage; with vows

between us two, from our hearts with God's blessings.

Are we married in Christ

under God's Rule

People are starting home based Hair Weave business due to this company by Rickey Johnson - Juniques Multi Cultural Connections Glendale, AZ -

The company: Micore International

Hello, I am an independent representative with Micore International (http://www.jussuccess.com )

623 455 6364

Hair Weave is a billion dollar industry. The demand for hair extensions and enhancements make up a large part of consumer purchase from the ethnic consumer. It is projected that there will  approximately 119.7 million ethnic consumers by 2014.

Ironically,African-American women make up a large part of that consumption, yet, are not the providers of hair extension products.

The hair extension industry is made up of manufacturer, Distributor, Retailer, and consumer.

For decades, it has been very difficult to enter the hair business as a distributor or retailer, due to limited access to product and very high business start up  cost. The hair extension industry is not showing any signs of slowing down and actually creating product supply opportunities.

This growing Hair extension industry, has open the greatest opportunity for business expansion, for those who want to capture it.

One company answering that "opportunity call" is Micore International. This company provides a distributorship to anyone, who wants to offer hair extensions, to the retail public and save on their own personal purchase.

For $19.95 a person can open their distributorship and be in business, that same day.

Micore International, also offer online training, for those who want to become skilled at this new and growing, hair extension business opportunity.

You are welcome to explore the opportunity Micore International is offering by viewing the Micore independent representative site at  http://www.jussuccess.com

Quit Playing and Get It Done

How many excuses can you come up with before you actually get work done? Excuses help pacify the fact that you aren't producing. It's time to stop making excuses for yourself and get the work done.

warpedclock.jpg

Just think of every excuse you make for yourself as a step further down the ladder of success. Who intentionally wants to take steps in the wrong direction? I know you don't!

As a woman you have to accept responsibility and provide accountability for the things you do and don't accomplish. Your main purpose as woman is to reproduce! That doesn't change when it comes to the work world either. This is your time to reproduce, that is multiply. By multiplying you can increase in all areas of your life.

You bring things into existence with your creative abilities. That means you supply your life with the things you desire by making it happen. Why deny yourself that? I challenge you to declare right now that you shall not be denied because of laziness. Declare that you will stop playing and get what needs to get done, done!

Remember F.O.C.U.S.!! Follow one course until successful.

Are you tired of going unnoticed? Are you ready for people to begin noticing you for all the great things you do? Follow these 4 simple steps!

getnoticed.jpg

1. Solve a problem. People need answers. When you become their go to gal you stay fresh on their minds when problems arise. People want others who have been where they are and know the solutions to the problems they need to fix.

2. Get out of the house and GIVE! Attend events, but don't just show up and blend in. Walk up to people and be ready to tell them why they should care that you exist. What can you offer them? Give them something more extraordinary than a business card, give them something to remind them of you. Sell your brand, your face, phone number and email, as well as what you do should be on the card. Make it easy for them as they're reviewing which cards to keep and toss and who to follow up with.

3. Share your story. People connect with people. Get comfortable sharing your story with others. When you learn to share you are building relationship with others. Tell them why you're attending the conference today or why you registered for this workshop. Give them background on how you got into the line of work you're in. Your glory is in your story!

4. Ask for what you want. Sometimes fear gets in the way of asking for the things you really want. You'll chat with someone for hours but you walk away lacking the things you sincerely desire. If you want to schedule a meeting and are looking to partner with a prominent organization or community leader, email or call and ask for what you want. If you want to share your message during an upcoming meeting or conference, call and ask how can you get more involved with the project. Sometime people are in need of desperate help and you might just be the right call at the right time.

Video Marketing: Does it work?

10744092059?profile=original

I have recently gotten more involved in my Video Marketing for my new extra-income driving business venture. In doing so, I have noticed how much more people I am connecting with across the country. Last week I had 3 sales conversions within 2 days all as a result of my videos. Although I knew YouTube.com was a great resource, honestly I didn't realize how beneficial it would be to my company. Here are some interesting statistics I found in regards to how much video marketing works.

According to comScore, the global leader in digital business analysis, so you understand the potential for marketing with video: http://www.incitecreativeinc.com/resources/articles/Does-Video-Marketing-Work?/

  • 89 million people will watch 1.2 billion videos today. Yes, today. Not for the week, or for the month, or for the year, but every day.
  • Businesses spent $1.4 billion in video marketing on 441 billion videos in 2010. This number continues to increase.
  • Video is popular across all age groups. Although 18 – 34 year olds spend the most time watching video, over 80% of the population across all age demographics watches video. So it isn’t just your teen that consumes content on the screen.
  • Probably the most important statistic of all, comScore reported that on average retail site visitors who view videos are 64% more likely to purchase than other site visitors.

These stats should give you a little hope when venturing out into Video Marketing. Although it can be scary because you are making yourself available for people to critique, it can still be great for business.

According to Edelman and Adobe, the stats below show how much audiences enjoy videos that tell stories. UNIQUE stories at that. I believe people are captivated by unique stories because of the authenticity. My husband sometimes gets on me about where I choose to shoot my videos but in my research I have found that when you are real with your audience they connect more. Of course that is to an extent. You should never go on camera with a messy house in the background or in your pj's, etc. However, is you have a nice office space or living area feel free to have in the background.

So far Video Marketing is going well for me as a tester campaign. The following are 5 tips on how to make video marketing work for you.

1. Know why you are doing this. Having a lot of viewers is great, but you want to make sure they are targeted viewers that want what you have. So make sure you present it well.

2. Have a script. As boring as that sounds, a script will at least guide your video in the direction it needs to go. Although you may be recording alone, millions could potentially view your video so it can be nerve-racking while recording. So you want to make sure you have a clear understanding of what you are saying to your audience and that there is minimum babble.

3. Be patient & Have time. These two go hand in hand. As I stated earlier, taping can be nerve-racking and lead to having to do a lot of takes. Don't get frustrated, impatient or stop taping because of this. Make sure you regroup in between each take and feel free to practice before taping.

4. Use the right keywords. This is the most crucial part of Video Marketing. You want to make sure you use the correct words in your title and in the tags. I would suggest researching  what videos in your content area are getting the most views and why. Look at the titles and the tags. Revamp the title to fit what you are doing and see if you will show up on the first page of YouTube for the keyword. That should be your goal. For example: If you are looking to target people who are looking for diet pills, then look up "diet pills" on YouTube. What videos are coming up and what are their titles? Research this and apply to your video. After posting your video, test the keyword to see if your video pops up on the first page. If not, keep editing your title and tags until you do (without full-on copying anyone, of course).

5. Camera equipment. Some people believe they need a high-tech video camera with bells and whistles, which (don't get me wrong) is not necessary but  will be great when you start to get those millions of viewers. But to start out, the video camera on your computer will suffice. Or on your phone like a Samsung Galaxy or iPhone. For the phones, just make sure whomever is camera man has a still hand while recording.  The convenient thing about using your video cam is that you do not need anyone to record for you and you can record alone.

These are just a few tips to consider when starting your Video Marketing venture. I hope they help. Let me know how Video Marketing works for you!

I LOVE TO FAIL AND YOU SHOULD TOO!
   By RICKEY JOHNSON

Great Day to ya!!!!

This is the area that many do not talk about with any substance.

It is always presented as the "thing" to avoid while making your success journey.

REALITY, it is the "thing" you must properly place in your psyche as move on the road of life.

It is a subject that deserves discussion, for the proper understanding of this event, will help multitudes move forward.

Enjoy Everyday to the Fullest

FAILURE

With the Puritans, the success/failure ethic was born. America invented a new upper class with only one entry requirement: money. America is the cruelest county in which to fail
.
America is also the best place in the world to fail.

This is the land where you can go from rags to riches to rags and still hope to go back to riches. Few of us recognize the benefit of failure.

It is important to fail and important to give our children permission to fail.

Learning early in life, that you can survive defeat, makes you tougher and more resilient, for the rest of your life.

There is no accomplishment without risk. Failure gives you options. It is important to understand what failure is and what it isn’t.

Success and failure are not polar opposites they are part of a continuum.

Neither is likely to be permanent; the irony is we believe both we last forever. It is the way you cope with failure that shapes you, not the failure itself.

In the end, real strength comes from knowing we can survive.

There are few things worse than feeling you have failed.

Your mood swings wildly from hope to despair.

It is a time of great confusion.

Failure seems to trigger a series of stages that are distinct and predictable.

The stages are (1) Shock, (2) Fear, (3)Anger and Blame, (4) Shame, (5) Despair.

First stage – Shock– The first reaction to sudden loss is disbelief, shock, and numbness.

The mind denies what it cannot process.

Reactions are often physical; at this stage you should do nothing.

It is always a mistake to make any major decisions during this phase.

What you need most at this stage is a sympathetic listener, not someone who will offer advice.

Whenever shock occurs, it is safer do absolutely nothing except wait and allow the pain to recede
.
Second Stage – Fear– At first, fear may be quite specific and even appropriate, but they can escalate quickly to unmanageable proportions.

By taking fear out of the shadows, fear becomes more manageable. Fear can turn into panic – a sense of sudden, incapacitating alarm.

Third Stage – Anger and Blame- as long as it is a passing stage it’s healthy. It is a sign you value yourself.

Blame, although everybody engages in it, it is almost always inaccurate.

Blame, in other words, will only be your first interpretation, and not a very accurate one at that. Anger, revenge, and blame are temporary and highly useful emotions. These feelings serve a definite function; they become a problem only if they persist.

Fourth Stage – Shame– Shame owes its existence to the authority we give other people to judge us. Judging our own behavior, we might feel ashamed- a personal regret in not living up to an ideal – not shame – disapproval in the yes of others.

Your attitude will determine the way they see you. If you act ashamed and defeated people will treat you accordingly. Shame is an unproductive feeling, but one that can only exist if you grant others authority to judge you. Remind yourself that you are in power here.

NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL A VICTIM BUT YOU YOURSELF
(Say that Again!!!!)

Fifth Stage – Despair– Despair occurs only when there is a massive ego loss with no subsequent ego gain, and no apparent way out “Depression occurs when we lose confidence in our own coping mechanisms.

"We become depressed when we are bankrupt of self-esteem and self-confidence, when we no longer have sense of our own capacities to insure either our actual survival or the worthiness or value of the life which we can sustain. Psychiatrist Willard Gaylin.”

Most depression is self-limiting. Usually after a period of a few months at most, the depression will usually have run it course.

One of the best ways to hasten the end of this stage of despair is to give in to it and allow yourself to mourn.

The best way to overcome despair is to give up least temporarily the serious endeavor that has defeated you and to turn instead to an easier, more accomplishable, different activity.

The stages of failure are as predictable as the stages of a disease, and just as survivable.

Everyone experiences them and although they are uncomfortable, they are not permanent.

What is important is to let them happen so that you can get done with them.

To fail achieving a particular objective or goal is not a determination of self – worth.

It is just measuring point of what other areas of self-development you may need to experience or skills you may need to obtain.

The irony of succeeding is that one must fail first, to some degree, to obtain success.

This is a valuable lesson of life to recognize and accept.

Once you understand this realization, that succeeding is failing and failing leads to success, you are own your on way to some exciting and personally rewarding experiences.

This is one of business building articles by Juniques Marketing.

I Love to Fail and You should too! Will help you succeed beyond your wildest dreams.

1. Attend to most important activities first Most important activities are one that effect other activities that need to be accomplished.

2. Plan by the week, not the day. Day to Day activities will change, however, weekly objectives should be meet. If not, adjust day to day objectives.

3. W.I.N and D.I.N Identify what's important NOW and Do it NOW This will help accelerate your objective achievement.

4. Meet objectives and goal are accomplished Step by Step you can travel a mile. You can not travel a mile in one step. Goals will usually consist of many objectives. Achieve objectives.

5. You are finite Share your time and energy judiciously. Everyone can not and should not have your time and energy equally. You have 1440 minutes allotted everyday to you to manage effectively and efficiently. You can not store, save, give away, barter, exchange, etc these minute, you must use them or lose them. They are not replaceable. Make each minute count The good news, you acccount is replenished, every 24 hours.

6. You must have objectives that are measurable. The road to nowhere, anyone will take you there. You must be able to measure your progress or regress. This measurement will help better identify what you must do or not do to move forward.

7. Give yourself room to grow. The knowledge you used to get you to where you are, will not be enough to advance you to next level. You must network with other and learn from them. You must apply new found knowledge so you can professionally and personally grow.

8. After you get inspired, make sure you perspire. As it is often quoted "Faith Without Works is Dead". Inspiration is great, however, if you do not put that inspiration to action, you will not advance.

9. Relax Remember you can only control you. That is it. You should make sure you do what you say you will do. Should you assemble that same mind set around you, objectives will be met and successes shared.

10. As Les Brown is famous for sharing " If you should get knocked down, make sure you land on your back. For if you can look up, you can get up!". You will get knocked down!!!

As I learn more about the hair industry, I realize it is a very interesting industry.

O's Guide to Hair Extensions
By Kate Sandoval         Oprah.com   |          From the December 2009 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine
Here's everything you need to know about adding volume and body (and length!) to your style. Starting with...

Hair extension strands Strand-by-Strand Extensions
Who They're Good For: Those with fine or thinning hair.
Who Should Avoid Them: Anyone whose hair is very dry or damaged.
What They Are: Most salons offer Great Lengths extensions. Each one comes as a 100-strand lock of human hair secured at the top with a keratin protein polymer cap. In the salon, each cap is bonded to your own hair, near your scalp, with a tonglike tool. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, you'll need 50 to 100 pieces.
How Long the Process Takes: Two to four hours.
Maintenance: "Shampoo and condition with silicone-free products, because silicone can make extensions slip off," says hairstylist Ryan Trygstad, at Sally Hershberger Downtown in New York City. Deep-condition the ends, but avoid getting conditioner on the bonds. Also, extensions tangle easily; brush them gently at least twice a day with a boar-bristle paddle brush. You might want to schedule a two-month follow-up appointment so your stylist can replace any extensions that have fallen out.
How Long They Last: Four months (at which point it'll be easy to see where the extensions are attached to your real hair). Your stylist will use an alcohol-based solution to dissolve the bonds and then gently pull off each extension.
Price: $1,500 to $2,600 (depending on volume of natural hair).
Coming Soon! Great Lengths has created the Multi-Sonic method, which will allow stylists to attach five 100-strand locks at once, cutting the total process time in half. The system should be available in Great Lengths–certified salons by midyear.
Next: You should avoid a weave if...
Hair weave

Partial Weave and Full Weave Who They're Good For: A partial weave is best for a woman who wants to add volume or length to her current style and has textured hair (such as African-American women who haven't used relaxers). A full weave is a solution for someone who wants to completely change her texture or color.
Who Should Avoid Them: Anyone who washes her hair more than once a week (washing loosens the weave). A partial weave won't look natural on women who have baby-fine or flat hair.
What They Are: For a partial weave, a stylist makes several small, tight braids along your scalp, then uses a curved needle and cotton, nylon, or silk thread to secure a weft (a line of extensions that are machine-stitched at the top, like a curtain of hair) to the braid. For a full weave, all your hair is pulled into braids before the wefts are sewn on.
How Long the Process Takes: A partial weave can take as little as an hour and a half; a full weave can take three to four hours.
Maintenance: Shampoo and condition every three weeks. Dry braids completely to avoid scalp irritation.
How Long They Last: Every four weeks, your stylist tightens the braids and the weave; every three months, she will remove the wefts, wash and condition them, then reattach them. The hair should last up to a year.
Price: $200 to $2,000 (depending on the length and type of hair).
Next: Hair clip-ins are great for...
Hair extension clip ins

Clip-Ins Who They're Good For: Someone who wants longer or thicker hair temporarily.
Who Should Avoid Them: Anyone with fine hair that can't hide the clips.
What They Are: Clip-in extensions range from a one-inch piece with one clip to a weft that runs from ear to ear with three to five clips. They're made with human or synthetic hair and come wavy or straight and in a wide range of shades. Clip them underneath the top layer of your hair to conceal the attachment. How Long the Process Takes: Five to ten minutes.
Maintenance: You can shampoo and restyle them.
How Long They Last: EClip in and remove as often as you like (but don't shower or sleep with them in). Quality extensions can be reused forever.
Price: At a salon, you'll pay $500 to $1,000 for eight pieces (which includes a consultation, fitting, and lesson on attaching them). Some salons offer rentals: At Warren-Tricomi Salons in New York City, you can rent clip-in extensions for a day for $100. Or you can buy them and put them in yourself; two popular, natural-looking options are HairDo 5 Piece Clip-In Ultra Invisible 16 Extensions ($49; QVC.com ) and Ted Gibson Clip-In Extension Systems ($150; ShopNBC.com), which are made of a new protein-based synthetic hair that can withstand hot rollers, a curling iron, or a straightener.

You have a Facebook page. You have some fans. Nicely done. Now, like the smart beauty salon business you are, you're looking for some proven ways to engage your followers so you can acquire more of them and make the most of your presence on Facebook.

Engaging your fans is a critical piece to building and maintaining a long-lasting relationships on Facebook—and offline! Here are a few timeless strategies that local beauty salon businesses are using with great results.

♦ Spread the Love

Tell your fans how much you appreciate them. Tell ‘em often!

Thanking your fans for their questions, complimenting them on their comments, highlighting their success stories—these things go a looong, long way in social media. Many smart beauty salon businesses on Facebook run a ‘Fan of the Month’ promotion to encourage and reward engagement.

This is really savvy way to make people feel good about themselves and your business while also capitalizing on the power of social proof.

♦ Offer Coupons and Run Promotions

Discounts, coupons, special offers … your followers will NEVER get tired of opportunities to save money and get more value from their purchases. Pro tip: If you want to run a promotion for a specific geographic location, use the Custom menu when you’re posting to target your followers in a certain area

♦ Share Your Knowledge

You run a beauty salon business. You have special knowledge and insight. You can help people. So share! People are always grateful for information that makes their lives easier or more fulfilling. Sharing helpful tips is some of the best engagement around.

It also helps you take advantage of the reciprocity principle: do something nice for someone, they’ll feel bound to return the favor.

♦ Issue a Challenge

We humans are deeply competitive by nature and simply cannot resist a challenge, an opportunity to show the world that we’re pretty darn smart. Test your fans’ knowledge using fun quizzes and polls. Trivia, brain teasers, riddles … you’ll have your followers eating out of your hand by day’s end, trust me.

♦ Take Photos of Your Happy Clients & Customers

Don’t hire a professional photographer. Just start snapping photos with your cellphone and post them to Facebook. You will be amazed—truly—at how people respond. Data collected by social media expert Dan Zarrella shows that photos get more shares and likes than text, video and link updates. This also a great social-proof strategy: other folks will see people enjoying your products/services and they’ll want to join the party, so to speak.

♦ Ask for Advice

The highest compliment a business can pay to its customers is to ask for their input. If you own a beauty parlour, ask your fans to come up with a new beauty salon giveaway! Or let them name your new product. Make it a contest! Solicit ideas and then let your fans vote for their favorite.

♦ Use Insights to See What’s Working

Here’s the beauty of Facebook: you can see what’s working and what’s not. Just export your Facebook Insights data to an Excel spreadsheet to a get quick, clear look at which status updates performed best, what kind of media your audience responds to and what's driving engagement.

http://www.businesscreditamerica.com/ 1-800-652-7157 In this video, I explain, why many businesses fail.

Many people imagine having a business already exstablished just like a full grown plant.  However, they don't full understand that they must do the following steps in order to see it grow to its full maturity.  Lets look at how you grow a plant. You pour the dirt, plant the seed, your water it often so it won't die. So basically you have to take time to nourish the business just like a plant.

There are specific reasons a businesses fail.  It starts with money.  Most people will borrow from their retirement plan or 401k, they borrow from their friends, family and relatives, the borrow from their saving and credit card.

Now they've dumped all this money into a business that sells tangible products.  When they need money to restock they have no one to fund their business.  Another reason many businesses fail is because of the market they are trying to cater to may not be responding to their product.  For instance you can not stick a Louis Vuitton store in the hood, because people making between 25k to 35k don't have the means to buy 1k purses.

Another reason many businesses fail is because of their product.  Most people sell a product because of the trend and it's making money now. However if you learn to do what you love and make that a product then you'll have less competition.  Especially if you further your education on that product.  Stop doing thing because it's trendy and making money now educatte your self on what it is you love to do and you'll always make money in your market.

I get calls from a lot of people that want to get into real estate however they know very little about real estate investing.  They have very little knowledge  about buying a property and what is it going to take to get that property back on the mark to get a good rate of return.  Now with wall street buying residentual real estate from the banks for pennies on the dollar it better to focus on buying commercial real estate..  You get about 5 or 6 partners together and buy a strip mall and rent it out to people that are starting new business.

I hope this video was informative to someone, thank you.
